Apparently Patrick have had legal advice and they think Dundee's original no vote should count.

14 Apr 2020 15:55:22
its in the rules any club can change from a no vote to a yes vote but not a yes to a no vote they have 28days to do so.

14 Apr 2020 16:23:07
All clubs Knew of the procedure of being allowed a no vote to a yes but not allowed a yes vote to a no so I’d doubt that lawyers credentials?

14 Apr 2020 17:21:18
It seems dundee have released a statement saying they have now been involved in negotiations about possible league reconstruction? Now if that is the case then the whole vote needs scrapped as Dundee’s vote is now being influenced by additional in formation and options? Options that all the other clubs didn’t have? So it needs to be a remote based on all upto date proposals and procedures? Only correct way to do it?

14 Apr 2020 23:36:09
Big blue bear, can change for one and not the other, what a load of jiz, who made up these rules, this is sounder more like dictatorship every time i hear another rule that goes for some, but not for others, phew.

15 Apr 2020 00:26:18
Like other posters have said. Dundee, clearly voted no, then have been bullied or bribed, or both, To change they're vote, absolute farce only the sfa would allow. Woulfnt happen under any other orgsnisation.

15 Apr 2020 11:41:32
Paul seemingly this is company law regarding voting procedures. The main thing fir me now is the spfl late not governed by company law as they are an independent body . Also I don’t know but I doubt if all teams were notified about the no vote being allowed to change . As far as I know it was a 5 pm deadline end of
But hey who knows, it was a doc with multiple pages ( I heard 120 pages then I heard 50 ) that was to be deciphered in less than 48 hours .
Hopefully Mr Park is just waiting on a few pieces of evidence then we will react.

15 Apr 2020 12:19:32
Paul and molsgoals spfl is not a company.

15 Apr 2020 12:21:29
big blue you are correct but you forget it was submitted to a deadline not a 28 day process. the deadline for that motion was in place and votes would only be changed if the motion was readdressed. in other words still on the table. it is now because of this vote.

15 Apr 2020 13:03:12
Exactly John that was my point . so they cannot be governed by company law
We would need to check their rules on voting right enough or even the proposal they sent to member clubs . it might be in there . am sure Rangers are on it . the Patrick QC
Seems to think they are wrong.

15 Apr 2020 14:02:09
Good if we let thistle take the lead. U see iom still saying we have not raised 10 million since October.
I really can’t understand him.

15 Apr 2020 17:01:23
I’m just wondering how you can say the spfl is not a company? They employ staff they pay wages the hold a bank account they negotiate contracts so I would maybe call that a company? So if so they need to comply with basic company law? And Dundee have just released a statement stating they have not been offered enticements and both Celtic and Rangers have both acted in a professional manner.

15 Apr 2020 17:31:28
Big p they r a board not a company as defined by Companies act.

15 Apr 2020 18:23:31
John25, As far as aware The Rules and Regulations of the SPFL state that the Scottish Professional Football League Limited is a Company and refer to the Chief Executive of the Company, Also state any reference to the Act as being a reference to the 2006 Companies Act.

15 Apr 2020 19:50:53
Cool Bankie. I’ve not looked at it. Too many dying to worry too much about a game.

15 Apr 2020 20:58:29
Agree John25, stay safe.

17 Apr 2020 08:31:36
Bankie, cheers for that confirmation mate, i thought they were a company also. not that i know much about companies, but was sure they came under company, as i'd read it, somewhere.

Just met an old friend observed social distancing of course but he has a great knowledge now of the goings on in rangers and an even better knowledge of mr park. Anyway he said there will be massive revelations coming out with regards to the current situation. Mr park isn't like past or other clubs chairmen. He would never put rangers at risk without holding all the aces. Anyway the friend says he knows about 90% but park is just waiting on a couple of things to come into his possession physically before he has everything needed so far. He has recieved info and photos but wants papers in his hand. Should we get our wish of the independent enquiry it will destroy the SPFL board and Lawells hold on the scottish game. The public pressure will be kept up and SPFL and Lawell know the end is coming.
Anyway now to football SG and Wilson have identified the targets and are doing some behind the scenes work on at least 4 players. He is under the impression that hagi offer will be made but kamberi will depend if top targets are got but will remain as a fall back. Wilson and SG like the guy and the impact he had but he won't be a 1st choice player so other targets will be pursued. Morelos is swaying weather to go this summer or give rangers another season. This all depends on if offers meet what SG wants. We will be adopting the same transfer strategy as liverpool buying young players with huge potential. This began a wee while ago with the young talent we have been acquiring. This young lad from Ireland is seen as the best youngster in the academy at present with regards to potential. We currently don't have any in the youth set up ready to through and take a jersey but we have a few who are not far off. We will see more being integrated into the first team.

14 Apr 2020 16:23:36
The lad has turned 16 couple weeks ago. So not ready for our first team.
He does not join till July 1st.

14 Apr 2020 18:07:18
Did you write the lord of the rings?

14 Apr 2020 19:20:36
John25 Wayne Rooney broke into the Everton first team at 15, not saying that this guy will be that good but never say never.

14 Apr 2020 21:05:22
Highland he can’t get a regular game at Glentoran. Let’s give him couple of years to develop.

14 Apr 2020 21:30:37
John he played the Arab tournament for us few months ago. My post wasnt saying he is anywhere near ready. I said he is viewed as having most potential. I watched the tournament and this lad looked outstanding. Everytime i watched him he shone. He has vision looked like a young Durrant in the way he sees things during a match. The players close would be patterson, mcpake, king and the young attacking midfielder that got his debut start of the year can't remember his name.

14 Apr 2020 22:40:22
Kai kennedy bellshill. I personally think this lad is the best of the bunch.

15 Apr 2020 00:28:42
Like the look of he other full back, is it Maxwell? he's been decent any time I've saw the colts.

15 Apr 2020 09:17:00
Maxwell very good, I predict Paterson won’t make it.

15 Apr 2020 21:46:14
The boy Paterson looked very good when got first team minutes in January, certainly had a bit of attitude and dig. Subsequently he was destroyed by the Spanish boy in youth game and his confidence took a hit. Hopefully he will return bigger and stronger and make a claim for place next season. Our track record on bringing young boys through the pathway is not good IMO.

16 Apr 2020 14:30:31
Bankie remember it was Stranraer and he done ok, only ok.

14 Apr 2020 10:05:47
Looks like Dundee have sold out. Reports suggest they will now vote yes having been offered money spinning friendly matches against scottish premiership teams. What a shower of spinless selfish individuals they are. Should never be forgotten. Corruption wins. So much for loyalty. They should be 1st on the list for any boycott along with the teams playing them in the friendlies. guess the celts will be 1st game.

14 Apr 2020 11:12:14
I wonder what has changed since the statement they made on the 10th April where they make it clear they wouldn't vote yes🤔.

14 Apr 2020 14:35:42
Enough is enough, its time rangers just thought of self preservation and apply to england to enter in bottom division and work our way through the leagues, there will be clubs going bust all over the place, this is our moment, ps our development team can play in Scotland, if they'll allow us, let's go.

14 Apr 2020 14:32:58
nothing will change in Scotland unless we do it. anything in Scotland. we have numbers. we have influence and direct if necessary.

14 Apr 2020 16:24:23
I think we all believe that liewell is driving this supported by his people within the spfl. Its all about the celtic in their pursuit of glory. Dundee will have been fed some crumbs which they will accept and shaft the others who voted no. i'm all right jack. Celtic yes they really are a club like no other.

14 Apr 2020 16:31:14
When are they going to fit in friendlies?

14 Apr 2020 16:35:57
Ar9, i'm seeing a few other clubs are not too happy with this voting farce, how will it all end?

14 Apr 2020 21:32:29
Grumpy will be the money they will get for friendlies. SPFL gave them the power on a plate.

14 Apr 2020 23:46:29
Bellshillad83, though dundee are now saying nowt really, i think if they say we've changed our vote it will open a big can of worms, through other clubs that have witnessed this farce, just like we have witnessed it, corrupt as feck.

15 Apr 2020 12:24:59
ICT stated cfc on the phone 3.30pm last Friday to Dundee who's owners are very shallow US financial advisors which makes snake skin look more dependable by way over a country mile.

17 Apr 2020 08:32:20
Eric blair, i see a few other clubs now saying they were threatened, mate.
