Just read in the Mail on Sunday Amazon uk revenue 3.2billion tax paid £517,000 this is what you call legal serious tax fiddling make you wonder

FFS what are BoS and RBS if not institutions? ger1952. schadenfreude in the extreme.

Amazon play the game to the rules of the game. That's the difference

Dont measure tax fiddling by degree - tax fiddling is wrong and should be hammered. Rangers are no better than greedy bankers - in fact they are worse because they claim to be an 'institution with a 140 year history' and their fans think they are some sort of superior beings WATP what a bunch of deluded ... I give up.

This is sooo sad even in ur hour of need as dawn creeps in use r still running around trying to point fingers. he done this and they done that.....
absolutey pathetic. No wonder nobody likes use.

Amazon didn,t cheat and steal cups and titles

Unfortunately, he probably isn't taking the p***. Too many Bears on here still got their head stuck in the sand.

Clearly the guy is taking the p*ss by saying its only fair other teams should pay it... on the hope people like you bite haha

"In my opinion there should be a SPL fund set up to pay off Rangers HMRC debt, its only fair."

Had the profit, pay the bills! Nothing to do with rest of SPL, RFC didn't share the profit so why should other teams and indeed the tax payer bail out a club, directors and players who financially benefited. If anyone should chip in it should be ALL the individuals who personally benefited.

They have a big warehouse in gourock where they treat their workers like slaves.

Morally were in the wrong for using EBT's or dual contracts but as it stands not illegal that's the hold up with the big tax case ... CVA will be settled at 10-13 million watch this space !

The original poster makes a valid point, tax avoidance was not invented by SDM or Rangers.

In my opinion there should be a SPL fund set up to pay off Rangers HMRC debt, its only fair.

Aye, a new one in Dunfermline and there was one in Glenrothes. Not sure if that closed after the Dunfermline one opened.

Does amazon not have a place in livingston or out that neck of the woods , I'm sure they have a place up here somewhere .

Good defence -That blg did aswell!

Amazon HQ is in Europe mainland.

Phud

Correct they do pay ni and paye but they do not pay corporation tax, therefore are putting British companies out of biz i.e. Waterstones . Why did Amazon pull its head office out the UK and move to Luxenbourg. Rangers have failed to pay tax no doubt but if you seem to be so good at picking on on Rangers issue then I suggest you must pick up on all the others that the poster previously has stated
Amazon sells nearly one in four books in Britain, but the UK operation avoids tax as the ownership of the main Amazon.co.uk business was transferred to a Luxembourg company in 2006.

Pretty sure all these online company's used jersey and gernsey for tax and vat purpose but that got changed at the turn of the year by the government !

Most of amazon sales for uk from abroad so don't count under uk tax, also amazon will pay the paye and ni of their uk employees so this not included in the stated amount........

Amazon, Google, Top Shop, Vodaphone, Various Pop Stars, the list is increadable, and Rangers . As fan I am raging that the managment let my team get into such a mess.

At least they made the effort to pay something other than trying to be smart and end up in a state like you lot.
