Weiss will only be back at us if Ally is not the manager,,,,Ally doesn't rate him, it's common knowkedge, he said as much, so why do people still come on punting deals that can't happen.
Believable6
Unbelievable5
Apart from the above, Man City would need to free him, and we'd probably offer him 3 grand a week max...
Agree6
Disagree2
He is guff anyway no end product - have you watced him for espanyol, subbed every week
Agree7
Disagree5
Wiess is a good player but not wat people make him out to be
Agree4
Disagree7
He would have to pay his own wages and just because he sits in the crowd and cheers us on doesnt mean we need to sign him hes pi5h.
Agree5
Disagree9
What and wallace and wylde do have an end product?? give me a break son, wee wiess is better than the two i mentioned put together
Agree9
Disagree3
I would take Weiss back in a second! Hes a young Novo, he would fight and fight for the honour to wear that blue top!
CC
Agree10
Disagree7
How easily some folk are fooled by badge kissers i cant believe you lot what a joke,
Agree4
Disagree9
To the poster who states weiss is better than wylde and wallace put together, yes maybe he would do a little bit more than wylde but better than wallace! No chance for a start wallace is a left back so unfair to say a left mid is better than him, however he has played alot better in midfield than most of our midfielders this season and more noteablly he has given much superior performances than any other left mid in the side. If the shoe was on the other foot i do not think wylde or weiss could do as good a job at left back as wallace does in left mid, so in short terms wallace plays better in their position than either of them do in their own position. Wallace is a cracking player and i think he will only get better.
Agree6
Disagree4
Weiss is rubbish a bit of pace thats it all he one was run into players and got free kicks for it an overrated little cheat
Agree3
Disagree2
If weiss had been at celtic he'd have kissed ther badge instead

Agree with the post two above. wallace is a stand out performer who could be a great player in the years to come, mark my words true blues.

Rudi Skacel....Out of contract in 2 weeks. Always a thorn in our side. Good player... Why hasn`t he been mentioned as a possible replacement for Naismith?
Believable19
Unbelievable8
I would have Scacel rather than O'Conner every day of the week......can anyone tell me how a guy who is on the bench every other week (sub yesterday again) for the 2nd bottom club, be a target for Rangers......or are we that f***** bad, that Hibs subs are now our level.?

Blackpool 2 sign John fleck on loan 4 the rest of the season, rangers r fu**ing mental we r gonnie have no players left at this rate, we need players In no out!!
Believable9
Unbelievable10
Fleck is not rangers class glad ta get rid
Agree14
Disagree12
Fleck not rangers class he's twice the player mckay, edu, broadfoot, kerkar and ortiz will ever be
Agree6
Disagree15
Starting to lose faith in ally if he cant see that fleck who can pass and retain a ball is better than a player whose only attribute is apparently his ability to run ,ffs sake he was one of our best players when he was given a chance the last couple of weeks
skyebear
Agree6
Disagree11
But Ortiz, Broadfoot, Edu etc are?
Agree2
Disagree3
Fleck would just get a game for Hibs. He's poor, very average.
Agree8
Disagree7
Fleck is pi5h, don't believe the hype. If he was any good he would already be playing or sold for the money (that nobody has ever offered)
Agree10
Disagree5
Fleck would get a game for Hibs...thats a f**** belter, because we are after O'conner, and he CAN'T get a game for Hibs.
Agree8
Disagree4
Where does it say anything about fleck leaving for blackpool?
Agree3
Disagree2
All you people who hound John fleck who gets 2/3 games at most then gets dropped .what do you think of our captain who continually plays s**te week in week out time ally grew a pair and started dropping players for under performing .he has bought 3 midfielders who he won't play and is playing a left back at left mid/ wing in front of two left wingers mccoist is out his depth being manager
Agree6
Disagree1
So wee should drop steve davis for john fleck dnt be so stupid wee wouldnt have won much if wee done tht the last 3 years
Agree3
Disagree2
Fleck is gash no where near worse than edu, time we got rid of the deadwood and if needs be play the youth instead of the s**te
Agree2
Disagree4
I agree Fleck is totally and utterly rank rotten, never mind loan deals get rid of him he is absolutely rubbish he is not a youngster anymore he is just another guy who made it into the first team and thought he had made it as a footballer. The worst thing is he couldn't even impress me against Arbroath, now that speaks volumes, no disrespect to arbroath as they can only feild their best team but Fleck was anonymous against them for at least the first 20 mins and people want him in our first team playing SPL sides when he is out of his depth playing against arbroath. Think about it he is no use to us.
Agree1
Disagree4
How can anybody judge Fleck when he is only getting a handful of appearances scattered over a long period of time, the boy has quality there is no doubt but the only way he is going to win anyone over is by playing games and getting match sharpness, if he is not in Ally's plans then fine let him go on loan and get some game time and come back and try and prove everyone wrong, but dont let him become another Charlie Adam, another player I always liked but nobody could see the quality player in him, because we all know what happened there ....... Big Dave
Agree5

A season on loan would be good for him
Agree2

Coisty obviously doesnt have plans for the player at the minute, but yes regular first team football for him beckons so hopefully he could come back with plenty to offer the firtst team

Believable8
Unbelievable4
I don't know why everyone is harping aon about the signings we will potentially be making, fact is we have no money and can;'t even attract ryna donnelly from a 2nd div club so what makes you think we are going to splash out £1mill plus for another part time player

Again Vladamir Weiss again has stipulated his intention to leave Man City, he is contracted till 2013, so I think that we should try and loan him in the summer as he would love to come back, then once the season long loan is up he could come to us on a free.
Believable11
Unbelievable8
100 percent agree Weiss should have stayed here last year. Porbably cost a few £M but his resale value would make it a shrewd investment.
Barry Barry
Agree13

He loves us, you just need to check out his twitter to see that, and i would love him back
Agree9
Disagree6
I don't get what you see in Weiss. He was a bench warmer last season. Just because he seems to love rangers he is suddenly a hero. I love rfc and you would not want to play me
Agree8
Disagree6
Don't need him what did he actually do for rangers not a lot overratted .aluko is miles better . Big al watp
Agree8
Disagree6
Ally said during the summer that he didn't feature in his plans for the future.
Agree6
Disagree1
A question to all you who don't want Weiss back............
Would you rather have Greg Wylde than Vladimir Weiss?
Weiss ended last season with more assissts than any other player in the SPL and you also have to take into account he missed a number of games at the tale end of last season.
Aluko on the right on Weiss on the left would give the Gers a whole new dimension in midfield. Two players who can beat a guy and whip in a good cross.
I think the only reason Ally said he wasn't in his plans for the future was because he knew we Mancini wouldn't sanction another loan spell in the SPL for Weiss......
TTG
Agree10
Disagree3
It would be a good team we would have if we signed weiss and kept papac
mcgregor
whittaker goian boccanegra papac
aluko davis claros wallace/weiss
lafferty naismith
Agree4
Disagree6
I wouldn't say he was a 'bench-warmer'. Although he certainly didn't get a consistent run in the team. He certainly has the ability and if he plays for the jersey then there's absolutely no problem! Perhaps we'd be looking at another Gazza; only on a lesser scale.
Agree2
Disagree3
What about jelavic???
Agree2
Disagree3
Tbh i would love weiss back and ally saying hes not in his plans for future, i dont think ally knows what his plans for future are i think he was told weiss was a non starter. ppl saying hes a bench warmer but he could start any game just now without doubt and if hes a sub he changes the game when he comes on and gives the place a lift like novo did but only better as there is not as much expectation to to score as a striker has. if asked i would say 100% take him back./biggles
Agree4
Disagree2
I'd love the wee man back, but he's too inconsistent. Don't get me wrong, when on his game he's superb!
Agree2
Disagree2
What do u mean what about jelavic the guy isnt trying a leg and i didnt put him in the team coz i think he will be sold
Agree1
Disagree4
So you didnt put Jelavic in your team because you think he will be sold but you put in Lafferty and Naismith who are not going to be available until after the January transfer window, Naismith unavailable this season? I assume Claros is the Honduran boy that hasnt even signed yet as well, have you ever seen the guy play?? Away and play Champ Manager ya muppet
Agree5
Disagree1
See if you read the first post u clown the team was for the summer as the guy said if we can get weiss in the summer so read before u start talking pish yah
Agree2

Weiss came on and made the difference against hibs and aberdeen. The hibs game was nearer the start of the season cant mind about the aberdeen one can just mind him tearing them to shreds. A great impact player and to the guy who said loan for a year then sign him on a free good thinking man thats what i would do - dont know why ally dont rate him, but maybe whyte said no. However he would probably have great re-sale value!

How can people be disappointed that we're bringing this honduran lad on loan? Fair enough its not some big EPL star, but c'mon, lads, we can't expect that at this time, financially. He's not signed on loan yet, i don't think, and south america is an area we should definitely explore IMO. Muzz {Ed014's Note - Honduras isn't in South America.

Agreed about the wee man, but he would provide a bit more bite to our play perhaps, aka naismith. if only we had the financial clout of yester-year then we would be able to afford a player of more class tbh like a james morrison or a chris brunt etc.

I think fleck has played well in the the two games he has played and gets dumped back to the bench for players that are not playing well.with all our so called money problems its about time we gave the youth players a fair chance to show what the can do as they are the future of the club.

A watched the full match from the north stand. Alike set up 1st goal n the 2nd was a scrappy goal at best(I know they all count) edu does more in the 90mins that Davis. Apart from a threw ball for Healy I can't remember anything else he dun. Remember Davis is supposed to be our best midfielder and captain. He shows no leadership and can't dictate they play. Very overrated player and remember he never turned up until mid feb last season either. Fleck deserves his chance.
Johnger
Agree6

Possibly James. A think Davis best game this season was against Motherwell when fleck played. So maybe that's what Davis needs.
Johnger
Agree4

Think its all edus fault the guy is garbage, Davis doesn't trust him, lost count of the passes he misplaced
Agree2
Disagree2
Only asking the question johnger, i was at the game on the 2nd and it was a far improved davis than in his displays prior to that game. possibly a better balance to the side with both in central role, though it would mean either papac or wallace dropping out unfortunately. but if it makes us a better threat in the final third then i would be all for it mate

he deserves his chance n so does mcmillan. if they both blow it at least we wont end up with another adam or the other kida we have let go which would get a game for us now

Does anyone think we coud have a chance in signing Jamie Mackie from QPR.I hear there is interest in the player and he is available for transfer.
Believable13
Unbelievable17
Not a chance as Mr Smith has not picked him and won't pay that kind of money

If he costs money i doubt he will be signed. I really dont see anyone coming in for a fee until higher value players are sold
Agree10
Disagree2
Use this quote from McCoist as a gauge of the amount of money we have available for players.
"No, not if they [Fleetwood] have knocked back £700,000 from Blackpool for a kid who is maybe not quite ready," said McCoist. "Maybe if we were in a far better financial position he's somebody we could take a gamble on, have him here for six months and then bring him in. But we need someone who can play now."
Agree5

Well if QPR are desperate for a keeper could we see a swap deal of mackie and cash for mcgregor?

I said this to my mates the other week mackie would be a great signing

Why take another step backwards? Walter wud only have us playin the same defensive way we r playin the now. Fresh ideas is what's needed
Johnger
Agree11

There is far more to being a manager than just the tactical side of the game, by giving Ally some support in other areas of management by a top class manager would be beneficial in my opinion as Allys downfall is maybe being too vocal with regards to transfer targets and maybe a few words of advice from a wiley old fox would help
Theglasgowranger
Agree5

Johnger: thank god theres a few of us that can see we aint moving forward.thats my worry with ally, there dznt seem to be a freshness in tactics or playing staff.aluko has done well but is in n out of games,no hutton, ness, mcmillan been used properly or given a chance n as for fleck i think we can forget it as ally must have some sort of problem there, hate to say it but the dhims are streets ahead of us in scouting n actually playing kids. average age against us was 23! we need to stop worrying about losing n just go on the attack think a clearout might be needed feel for ally but he's gotta shake things up a bit. blueforyou.

McCoist shouldn't need assisstance. He spent four years under Walter's wing, he has served his apprenticeship. He has to man up now.
I can't go about my jobs demanding assisstance from an old tradesman after completing a four year apprenticeship....I would get sacked!
It's upto Ally to pull something out the hat, if he still needs assisstance then god help us!

They are streets ahead of us because they have money to spend. I am pretty sure if Ally had money to spend then younger players would have been brought in. Ally took over the squad with hardly any players so it was a necessity to bring in the likes of Boca and Goian to add a bit of experience in defence.

Why bring in younger players when theres a bunch of decent youngsters already at the club, moulding the likes of ness, mcmillan, hutton and fleck into the squad gradually would benefit the team a lot more..watp

McCoist is a 50 yr old man who has been in football for 35 years , been no2 for 4 years and been no2 in a management team that went to a UEFA final . If he doesnt know how to manage by now he can forget it .

arsenal, fulham, qpr and tottenham 2 try and sign mcgregor 5-6m,,,,,,dont think he would leave for fulham or qpr tho

Theres a chance greegs mite go but for more than 5-6m. Hes a cracking keeper in all aspects. I personally dont think alexander is close to the same ability as greegs and nowhere as imposing on 1 on 1's. Never the less he still deserves a chance if greegs goes.

I think the team could cope with the loss of Greegs better than Jela or Davis. It may be a good time to sell him if we need £££ for taxcase

Maybe qpr but the other 3 all have better keepers imo

I rate Shagger highly but I could see the benefit in cashing in if it means Jelavic would stay as Im more confident of Alexander being an able replacement than I am of Healy etc replacing the Jellyfish and I think both McGregor and Jelavic are worth £8m

I agree greegs is an exceptional keeper deffo top 10 europe but the problem is epl teams dnt rate our game but i think 5m is realistic(no craig gordon plz, different times.)we might have to suffer a few years of struggle but its time to change this team around.out:jella, davis, broadfoot, wylde, use the money wisely and re-build.blueforyou.

Arsenal have a settled No1 now so think that's nonsense.
I do think he's a very good keeper, but has had a few clangers this year, which he's got away with but keepers don't get away with any mistakes in the EPL. Don't think we'd get any more than £5mill, but it's only an opinion.

They dont play for 'bigger teams' they play in a fantasy money league which allows them to spend stupid amounts and show on the deloitte money year publish that they have had a bigger turnover, and it doesnt matter what league u play in, you still have to save whatever is hit as you as a keeper, are you saying they keepers above wouldnt have to move from thier line in the SPL? coz theres that much difference in shot power or accuracy,,,,give me a break, some of the saves mcgregor makes they keepers wouldent get near, i do agree we wudent get more than 5 mabey 6 million for magzie, but if gordon went for 9 we shud look for the same but never going to happen. but dont have such an ignorant opinion by saying keepers the EPL make 'better' saves than ones in the SPL, McGregor has played at the highest level in the champions league and for the national team aswell and made wonderful saves, so dont talk nonsence!! do barca, valencia man utd, spain holland etc, do these teams not hit accurate shots??
i rest my case
Agree4

Mcgregor is a great shot stopper but his ball distribution is poor, he can't command his box either and is prone to make a few big mistakes. That's why I think he isn't in top 10/15 keepers
Johnger
Agree2

Pepe reina who everyone rates so highly makes 1 big mistake every game, and be honest you dont go to a game and watch your keepers ball distribution you watch him making saves for your team, the saves are what saves your team points and can make a difference, so your point above is nonsence, stefan klos was the same, and with good teams, the defence takes care of itself

Wrong mate. U might b happy watching him punt the ball over the midfield n us giving possession away easily but I'm not. Did u watch Swansea play 2nite? Vorm never punts it n look how good there play is

This is a case of people watching too much match of the day. Look at de gea, he looks like a wee boy lost in the play ground. Mgregor would show up well down south. As the previous guy says they don't hit the ball any faster down south.

Ffs all am sayin is the keepers the bloke mentioned half of them wouldnt make the gers bench, not rabbitin on about how accurate shots r or how far across the line he can dive,,its plain an simple apart from the odd mistake which even the best in the world do greggsy is a class above the 1s mentioned

Ally is ready to walk. He is annoyed at the lack of support from the Charlatan. He is more annoyed that the football expert Ali Russell is responsible for the appearance of the two Indian boys, who were apparently completely out of their depth. The two Hondurans were also Ali Russell's idea and McCoist wants nothing to do with them. Apparently McCoist warned Whyte that if Ali Russell wants to decide who comes and goes then he would not be there, he demanded that the interference stops immediately.
He had been promised that £2m was available and wanted Sandaza immediately. Following the ultimatum from McCoist Whyte has refused to sign Sandaza. McCoist is said to be furious. It is believed that McCoist will resign after the transfer window if no support is forthcoming. He has also been made aware that not only is Jelavic going to sold, but an agent in England has been advised that all of the first team squad are available.

I hope your right about Ally walking, he is completely out of his depth, remember Europe beating by 2 pub teams, also his style of football is terrible, we have a team lacking football players, give me any manager that at least plays open attacking football, and the last thing how come Fleck was dropped again he is one of the better players we have at the club, and he get dropped, and we have 2 left backs, I really hope there is truth in this and you head back to London along with Sue Barker on Question of Sport, that's your level, oh and by the way take your backroom staff with you

If as it has been said Ally has no say who is coming and going, well what man would not say stick it. Mr Whyte then better be warned, big John walking then Ally. At present Whyte's got a 55% support from the fans. If Ally did walk it would be 10% .

Scaremongering or not, I personally could believe this. Something isn't right at Ibrox.IMO Whyte doesn't want Ally as he is not his man.

There is undoubtedly a boardmember(no name mentioned) who is interfering in allys job which has unsettled coisty. this has been mentioned constantly on two radio stations who are claiming that at least 1 of the 3 signings ie. bedoya, mckay and ortiz was out of allys control along with the two indian boys! i wish they would have more faith in our manager!
Agree6
Disagree3
Knowing how to get a team playing and who to buy is the way for a manager to be successful not being told by a board member and his yes man mr smith this is who you,ll play and who you,ll sign for this price
Agree0
Disagree1
I also have heard that ally is getting fed up with mr russell interfering in the football side of thngs but the problem is whyte listens to him 100%.apparently words were exchanged about the two indian boys, and mr russell has questioned all the bodies in the coaching staff.cant see ally walking but he's got his own credibility to think about.be wary of smith,a very smooth operator but all in the cause of his own agenda which is gordon smith! blueforyou.

Be honest Bears, would you give Ally money? He buys garbage on the whole, tactically strange decisions and this constant talking to the press about who we are going to sign (and dont) is driving me mental. Its Rangers Ally not Cowdenbeath
Agree5

Im sure i recall Martin Bain being hevily involved of sourcing players in the past when mcleish was in charge. Celtic do this too and is all about taping into emerging markets to increase revenue. The difference here it appears is the board sem to be trying to sell players behind the managers back

I would defo give ally money. Do u not think there is a reason for talking to the press about transfers?. IMO he is trying to distance himself from Whyte and Russell in saying i have targets and want to buy players but i am getting no support from the board.
As far as i remember Ally and the coaching team only have contracts till the end of this season?. Will they be offered new deals?.

Could mccoists public airing of transfer targets be the only means he has of hoping to embarras the board into providing him with transfer money? Maybe he wants the fans to react and ask what the hell.is going on at rangers

I hope your right about Ally walking, he is completely out of his depth, remember Europe beating by 2 pub teams,
so walter smith never lost to kaunus then? another pub team, over the years all our managers have lost to pi5h in europe so i wouldnt say mccoist deserves the sack based on the european games
Agree3

Could it just be a lack of experience or the fact that coisties too honest for his own good, either way he must keep all his work inhouse. as for giving ally money, we will never know until he is given chance. yes he has made a few suspect signings but lets be honest the poor guy has both hands tied behind him. as a rangers supporter i'm slightly embarassed at some of the players i see playing for the team i love however they will still get my full support regardless!
Agree3
Disagree2
As a rangers supporter i dont get all this sir walter nonsense. the football under smith was as exciting as watching paint dry and allys style is just as boring. i REALLY fear for rangers in the next few months(on and off field). we are gonna drop more points cause the team just is not good enough which leads onto my question, if we lose the title having had a 15 point margin, being knocked out of europe and the cup by mediocre teams- will ally get a second bite at the cherry? i for one hope not! us rangers fans have been crying out for a style of football to at least keep us awake.
Agree4

I agree Rangers players and coaching staff deserve full support. Ally and Durrant are both rangers fans and everything they do is in the interest of the team. Fans have to be realistic and realise money is not available this has been said for the last few seasons and has got gradually worse.
At the same time though I think pressure should be put on Whyte and board members to come clean about what's going on.
The previous manager spells out the state of the club finances in this interview at the time of his departure.
