Anyone know anything about the Mike Ashley situation? Is he definitely buying 10 % and does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour I saw here a few days ago about Puma making us new shirts? Rangers Megastore is selling shirts for £25 now (compared to £40 the other week) and the training gear has money off too. Also, will Tennent's be staying as sponsor or do you think there's another company lined up?

Believable22 Unbelievable16

Puma more chance of gola and white lightning to sponsor you ha ha cheaters never prosper .
Paddy

Agree1 Disagree10

Rangers shirts have been subjects to offers for ages, at xmas it was buy one get one free. they literally cant give them . . . everyone that has bought a season book wouldnt it be hilarious if theyd bought a top too!
but you're right, TheRangers wont be able to wear the top previously released by Rangers 1872 for legal reasons

Agree0 Disagree3

You sir, are talking a load of crap..

Agree2 Disagree0

We have already worn the top so we must be in trouble for doing so!

mike ashley has shares in puma i believe so maybe he's trying to get them to swap when the current kit deal ends

Agree0 Disagree0

Amazon r selling then for £20 with free delivery too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi paddy yes weve prospered got a listed building as main stand ,what yous got a tin hut same as jungle yous to be lol doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

I've had a look and the Rangers 'unsponsored' goalkeepers' shirt is £9.99 more than the shirt adorned with Tennents. A new sponsor or no sponsor at all?

Agree0 Disagree0

What garbage. The strips just out and we have a contract with Umbro until next season, likewise Tennants.

Agree0 Disagree0

"TheRangers wont be able to wear the top previously released by Rangers 1872 for legal reasons" that is why they have worn it for 2 cup games so far this season and will also wear it tomorrow. If it were for leagl reasons they wouldn't have been able to wear it at all - can't pick and choose with the law - unless of course it is the SPL and they seem to be able to do what they like

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who says "won't be able to wear the top due to legal reasons." my first question is: what legal reasons. Please be precise in your answer. My second question is: are you a criminal mastermind? I will review your answer to the first question before I draw my conclusion to the second. My initial hyposthesis is that you are not and that you in fact one of the many genius barrack room lawyers on this site who know very little fact and very much fiction. FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean the top they are actually wearing now? Think before you write rubbish!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would think its a goer since the staff from the rangers shop were in Sports direct on Argyle for a training day yesterday (they had all rangers training gear on) with someone showing how the tills etc work. As for strips my guess is they are selling off home tops under JJB argeement and then will bring out away and third kits under SD agreement to maximise profit for SD. Don;t expect a manufacturer change this season however Puma for next - or cheaper brand....

Agree0 Disagree0

Doug, the whole stand isn't listed - you do know that?

Agree0 Disagree0

Legal issues over shirt, badge etc. won't kick in until liquidation of the oldco.

Agree0 Disagree0

Puma more chance of gola and white lightning to sponsor you ha ha cheaters never prosper .
Paddy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paddy - What you choose wear and your choice of classy tipple has as much to do with Rangers as you do.....and if we were Smelltic would soon follow along like thay always do...we have never prospered...world record titles agrues otherwise...just get back to your white lighting now :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would legal issues over badge n stuff only happen after liqidation of the old co surely it would start straightaway plus the new co own the rights so what issues are there

Agree0 Disagree0

I could argue many ridiculous point in this posts but, I will stick with just one. There will be no legal issue when liquidation is complete of the OldCo. If there were legal issue with branding, sponsorship and imaging then the NewCo in control of RangerFC would have already broke enough Copyright and Trade Mark laws to run up a bill bigger than that of our previous holding company!

Agree0 Disagree0

The legal issue is tht once the oldco is liquidated there registerd trade marks are no longer reconiesd so there has to be new ones the kit is ok but the badge has to change hence the quick reduction to sell thm off before the stock becomes void

Agree0 Disagree0

The newco has bought the assets of old co including rights to everything and anything under old co control, think we have 1 of those always right never wrong posters here guys ,and before the stock becomes void lol,if tht were and im not sayin it is or ever will b,thy would have brought a new strip out in time for the season starting, and started selling after the deal with jjb got tore up,tht is the only thing tht is void in this post/argument,thanks no applause neccesary,oh and is the buroo on strike, the thramps are coming out the woodwork all over the place, nearly forgot WATP

RANGERS are eyeing a move for Australian kid Francesco Stella.

The attacking midfielder has arrived for a trial with the Third Division outfit whose 12-month transfer ban kicks in at the start of next month. Stella, 21, is free to leave Serie A side Siena two years after joining them from South Melbourne.

Believable27 Unbelievable26

This lad actually looks half decent. Couldn't finish his tea right enough, but good tricky AMF.

Agree0 Disagree1

Hope hes better than the other oz we had

Agree0 Disagree0

The other oz we had was the australian player of the year... Cant get much better

Agree1 Disagree0

His shirt will say tenents on front and stella on the back,.,.kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously why would anybody with any promise at all, who's come from Serie A want to come to Scotland's Division 4?

Why not just promote a youngster from Auchenhowie who might really want to play for us?

Agree0 Disagree0

Great young talent but needs to put a bit of weight on for Scottish football.
Ozzie Al

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw this guy play for Sienna on two occassions - pretty good attacking player and covers back well. If Gers get him it will be a good signing. yorkielad.

kyle hutton been told he is surplus to requirements at rangers. boyblue !!

Believable29 Unbelievable51

Dont think we have enough players to let anyone go

Agree0 Disagree1

Something very wrong at Rangers if this is true.

Agree1 Disagree1

Find this hard to believe to be honest. A good young player and rangers man who didnt walk away is now being shown the door. Bad Darts if you ask me.

Agree2 Disagree1

To be honest i cant see Super ally doing this to his youngsters when he needs all the men he can get

Agree2 Disagree1

Absolute nonsense. Why would Rangers tell somebody who is willing to stay that! We are desparately looking for players. If you're going to make up a rumour, make it believable.

Agree2 Disagree1

Id find that quite surprising really, hes a solid player.maybe theres been a disagreement or whatever.at the east fife game he looked to have put a lot of weight on...
drumlad

Agree0 Disagree1

It is true abt hutton and alexander put in transfer reqest too

Agree0 Disagree0

They walk away from old rangers, they walk away from the rangers.
only one desperate enough to stay is ally cause he wouldnt get a managers job anywhere else

Agree0 Disagree1

His contract is too good for the wage structure , charles will need to sort this out

Agree0 Disagree0

Where do you see the rangers if your talking about the company name the old one was also the rangers the club is rangers

Believable8 Unbelievable15

If its not here in time go 2 ticket centre n theyl giv u a paper ticket 2 get in until its throu

Agree0 Disagree0

I bought mine online on Tuesday and recieved it yesterday through the post.

Agree0 Disagree1

Just back from ticket office they've ran out of smart cards due to demand u should recieve a paper ticket for saturdays match

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who ordered season tickets or individual tickets by Thursday 4pm and selected post will receive them before the game.

GovanFR

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't worry If you dont have it by Saturday, go to the ticket office and they wil lissue a paper ticket. I would leave pleanty of time as they are normally very busy before kick off.

Agree0 Disagree1

Got my season tickets yesterday was issued with paper tickets for Saturday as smart card wont be ready in time

Agree0 Disagree0

I have the same issue I sent my renewal by post last wednesday and have not received any confirmation. Just hoping when I go on saturday that my smartcard has been reactivated. If not I fear the worst as the q at the ticket office will be massive.

Rangers website says that rangers have currenly got 5 players on trial and ally is looking to sign atleast 2 players out of them, anyone got any ideas who these players could be? hopefully a winger or a strong centre back

Believable11 Unbelievable23

Francesco Stella from Siena is one, he's an attacking midfielder. We really need to get our defence sorted shapish!

Agree0 Disagree0

No it doesn't!

Agree0 Disagree0

No doubt it is more players with no ambition that just want to play for the money

Agree0 Disagree0

Any body any idea where the money is coming from ? green said the cash to buy the club was a loan so is the signings all borrowed cash too ? does he care how much debt he leaves yous in ??

Agree0 Disagree0

The money to buy the club is from Investors not a loan. The money to pay for the players we are signing which have zero transfer only wages will be paid for by season tickets. The rangers wage bill will be kept at about £100,000 per week and this can be meet by 17,000 season tickes a £300 a go. Which we have more than that which will cover other running costs. Finally by the time Charles Green leaves Rangers will be in an excellent financial position make no mistake Mr Green bought Rangers to make money the only way he can do that is get us back to the spl and europe with no debt and a healthy balance sheet. Then he will sell to the fans or a wealthy individual for a tidy profit. {Ed001's Note - not necessarily, Peter Ridsdale made a fortune from Leeds, I don't remember him leaving them in a good financial state do you? Did you know that the day before Bradford folded, again with Ridsdale at the helm, the directors (including one Mr P. Ridsdale) were paid out a large lump sum each, even though the club was about to enter admin. So I wouldn't rely on him wanting to make money as meaning the club will be in safe hands.}

Agree0 Disagree0

You"ll still get see game saturday if its not through theyl hav give u a paper ticket 2 get in as its not ur fault if not through uet

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm in the same boat. Sent renewals off about a fortnight ago and received no form of confirmation and no money has come out of my account.

Agree0 Disagree0

Money out of my account Tues

Are the season tickets nearly sold out because on the website when you try to buy them it only lets you pick club deck sections six and seven? dean the bluenose

Believable26 Unbelievable26

Why are people clicking unbelieveable go on the website and check its not rocket science.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes they have almost sold out the season ticket allocations for this season.

Also, when trying to get tickets for this saturdays game, the entire stadium plan is showing unavailable

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy in my work tried to buy one online this morning at 06.30 and all that was available was club deck.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was first in queue this morning aty ibrox to get season tickets, and i asked the guy serving me how many season tickets we had sold, and he said 31,000. He also said they can only physically process 4-5,000 a day, so there will be seaon tickets available next week. So come on fellow bears lets back our team and sell out all season tickets. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

I anticipate 35,000 season ticket sales which is only 3,000 less than last year.
This is a fantastic response from the fans bearing in mind the trials and tribulations of the last 6 months, and playing in the bottom tier of Scottish Football.
It seems Rangers fans do not do walking away as predicted by their rival fans.

The big house is not just open, its nearly full.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now saying sold out. dean the bluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey bud, I couldn't get through to the ticket office or the online sales department the other day, so I just went through to Ibrox. They still had tickets for sale yesterday at 4pm. not sure how things are today. good luck.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's because that's all the tickets that are left for Saturday's game. After Saturday the tickets that were bought as single tickets for Saturday will be available for season tickets again. If you buy a ticket for Saturday it will come off the price of your season ticket if you buy one next week. It's on the website

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't panic mate. This is all good, tickets are all gone apart from club deck for Saturdays game. If not able to buy a season ticket then you need to get in quicker for the match day tickets which are being sold at the same time because the renewals dept are swamped with requests due to the late notification. It will be sorted eventually. You just need to get in quicker if looking for a matchday ticket.
Well done guys and gal's. The big hoose will be rocking on Saturday.
The Bears are back in town!
P.O.B.

Agree0 Disagree0

That was a fault on the website

Agree0 Disagree0

Its changed now. dean the bluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought so too so I went to the ticket office and got a season ticket for the main stand
