I hope we don't. After Villa were hammered 6-0 at home last season by Liverpool his first thought was to tweet a photo of his new car and he's supposed to have been a villa fan growing up. So if that's his attitude for the team he supports I'd like him nowhere near the one I do, besides he's guff.

lescott 4/ 6 years ago was great talent but the lescott of today is terrible we don't want a player for their name and who they have played for we want sum1 that improves our team.
I for one think the young lad bartley is a better option as he has potential and will have a good sell on value.
and bougy is 33 but always plays with heart. none of whom will be on massive wages and I think would love to come back here plus bougy have pace.

If a Centre half who has won the EPL and pretty much spent his whole career in the top flight of England is "guff" then who is actually good enough for us?
Lescott isn't a ball playing Centre half but he is very physical and Puts his body in the way of literally every shot he can something Wilson or Kiernan don't do.

Lescot may have lost his way at villa, but he is a far better option than senderos. Imo.

This would be a terrific signing. Villa were a poor side last season and have been in decline for years so to judge a player on Villa last year is just ridiculous. The guy is a seasoned pro who's played in the best league in the world at the top end of it for the majority of his career.
I'd be delighted with him at centre half for us.

Pfffft the drivel on this forum at times is unBEARable (see what I did there? ) I'd welcome any player willing to pull on a Rangers jersey and judge them on the park while wearing it. The talk of pace and age, aye because Davie Weir was like Usain Bolt if I remember right. What age was he again? I'd take Senderos and Lescott and see how they get on. If the give 100%, I'll be happy. Can't believe some people slate potential signings before they've even had the chance to kick a ball.

Senderos had his moments and is is a better footballer and better in the air so I'd welcome him! However I've always thought Lescott was useless even at his best. Just one of those players stealing a living for me!

Personally would rather have Mariappa, then Senderos before Lescott but willing to give the boy a chance. Hope it doesn't mean senderos is wasting his time on trial. Would like him too.

First time post here. To be honest I think lescotts attitude leaves a lot of people thinking he's trouble. I personally think sendeross would be a much better signing. But I trust mw and dw.

I'd prefer senderos over lescott but tbh would like them both but think we will only take one of them and looks like lescott is mw first choice. Think hill maybe a mistake at 37 I would rather these two tbh.

Isn't it funny how far we've came in last year, when we moan about the 2 good centre halfs we have, and say that the likes of Lescott and Senderos may be over the hill and not good enough for us. Jeez only a year or so ago we were playing big Jig, Mcgregor and Moshni at the back.

I can't believe what i'm reading. I am seeing people on here who have not stopped greetin' about how they think Kiernan and Wilson are crap and now they are complaining because we are being linked with a player who has 10years of experience in the EPL. The very highest level of football. And we aren't talking about a bottom tier team here. Everton in their best years and Man City. He's crap. HAHAHAHH are you having a laugh! they are better but most of themarent worth anywhere near their maket value.
playing in England alone adds ten million on to your value if u are a good player.
ive said it before I don't think that because the players play in englands top flight makes them good enough for rangers and there are a lot of sh*t players down south that are really overated and if they came here would be found out.

In that case someone call Warbs and tell him I'm a free agent and get me signed up after all everyone should be delighted since I haven't played for Rangers yet based on that theory lol! .
Before they have played a game for us IS exactly when you judge a signing. Never heard the likes of it in my life.
I'd also have Senderos over Lescott he's younger, his attitude has also shone through he is the one turning up at Auchinhowie for a trial while Warburton has had to go running down to England to meet big hot shot Lescott, think Senderos would see playing for us as a priviledge whereas Lescott would think we are priviledged to have him.

We have great training facility's and they to at 80/ : would be solid
Fans have been asking for CB s that's better than what we have taking they to on a free is a no brainier get them fit then make a judgment
I don't know what the answer is but surly there worth a chance with our squad and management team

Aye Blu Stu because that's the same thing. Judging a player on their past year or so and neglecting the years before is called poor anylsis. Oh he's been crap in that league so he'll be crap in this league. Oh he used to be good but now he's finished because of this or that season. No mate. And if your football is as bad as your chat, no thanks. Go try get a game at parkheid. If MW thinks he can do a job for Rangers then I support his decision. He knows a lot more than we do.
