Di santos are you tripping I think if you look again you will see its Queens Park Rangers lol no us he's on about 40 grand a week mate

Agree1 Disagree0

You getting confused with Queens Park Rangers? Could see him going there but we don't need to an wouldn't be trying to get a player like that.

Agree1 Disagree0

Hoping this is true di santo a great player don't see it happening tbh

Agree1 Disagree1

What a joke.

Wouldn't be interested even if we were in the spl

Moshni was offered a trial at Celtic last year. This was following a fall out at his club. West Ham had bid £150k for him but it was knocked back. He seems to cause a bit of bother wherever he plays but El Hadjid worked out, so why not Moshni?

My source saying Super Ally keen and so is the player. But Mather dragging his heels.

Believable22 Unbelievable16

El hadji Diouf worked out?

He contributed nothing on the pitch of note, fact.

All I remember him doing was acting like a complete ned, shouldering a physio getting sent off and nearly getting lifted for running to throw his jersey to the Rangers support at greyskull after a defeat in the game of shame a few years back. I don't know about you bud, but there is a certain standard I believe players should meet before they are allowed to wear the Rangers strip and I know nowadays the talent wearing it isn't the same as in the past but as a human being that clown should never have been allowed inside Ibrox. I hated him before we signed him because he was a lowlife then and the badge kissing and running to the fans at celtic park didn't change my opinion of the guy. I was disgusted when we signed him and couldn't believe we had sunk so low to be signing players strategically to wind up the mhanky's. Still don't know what Walter Smith was thinking. Only thing I could complain about under both his tenure's at the club.

I don't think big Mohsni deserves to big threw in with Diouf even for the sake of comparing discipline records as that would be really unfair to the guy. The two are nowhere near comparable.

Agree2 Disagree2

I agree that there are minimum standards but those standards need to include football ability.

I will give Moshni some leeway if he has the ability that is inferred.

After all, we do not have any decent quality centre backs at the club right now.

Agree3 Disagree0

Diouf did do one thing. He won the league. Giruy timmy.

am sorry but he may have been crap but the op was on about attitude of the played and ehd wasnt that bad when he played at rangers blacks far worse snaps anyone who has the ball is one dirty player
spits the dummy out far to much

Agree1 Disagree0

I love the disguised timmothy on the long rant about diouf. He was mince I'll give u that. But come on fella, the green and white is ripping out you! {Ed001's Note - to be fair, I do remember a lot of Rangers fans not wanting you to sign him, it was very split before you did. A lot were totally against even considering Diouf.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Diouf did score a very late goal to let us progress against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa league.

Agree3 Disagree0

I'll give you the Sporting goal, THAT infact was his only productive contribution. He was a diddy at Rangers and within 10 games Walter had sussed that out and he spent the remainder of the season as a sub. Nothin but a badge kisser and it was embarrassing the amount of punters who fell for that patter. I don't know about you but I was seething that night at greyskull and that pleb running over to us to throw the jersey he wasn't worthy of wearing into the crowd in his petulant way pi55ed me off even more. My dad didn't go back to Ibrox for the rest of the season after Diouf signed in January, He was disgusted.

Btw the timmy patter is getting out of hand on here. You can't say two words against the club, management or badge kissing ex player without getting called out as being a tim.

Agree2 Disagree1

Yep diouf was mince and done nothing at gers that one goal, people only liked him cause they hated him just like laff earthy tbh

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Greyskull the castle of the good guys?

Agree2 Disagree0

If any of you think it's ok to defend the behaviour of that rat Diouf then shame on you. He was a total disgrace everywhere he has played. I'm not referring to his football ability or the fact that he played for your team, that actually wasn't an issue. I'm referring to his lack of decency and his disgusting behaviour. The guy had no class as a human being and had neither pride nor shame for his actions. The whole of Scottish football rejoiced when he headed south again. Totally disgraceful individual and a slur on his country.

Argyriou to be offered to clubs on as free transfer as he is no longer needed, anyone got any ideas who the strikers ally is supposedly looking at?

I93

Believable38 Unbelievable15

Not sure how true this is, but Georgie Welcome we had on trial couple years back and scored 4 in closed doors game supposedly still of interest and he still wants a move to Rangers. (Heard but with regards to wages etc, seems far fetched)

Agree0 Disagree0

That might not be a bad shout, I would like to see a youngster brought in so that we dnt break up Daly - Clarke. Plus a youngster with a bit of potential could make us some money off future transfers
I93

Agree1 Disagree0

Heard he was interested at L Walesa and A Scargill. Getting on a bit, but top strikers in their day.

Agree0 Disagree0

What does Rangers actually pay now on average.

Agree0 Disagree0

U would think the boys are on average of between 3-6k a week with a couple of exceptions
I93

Agree0 Disagree0

Believe it or not a actually thought argyrou looked like he could develop into a decent player in the occadions I seen him last season. watp tambo89

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he could be a good squad player aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope that's right about Welcome. Maybe not this season though. He would score for fun at Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Kenny Miller will return. Both parties want it to happen. Source, ibrox staff

Agree1 Disagree1

It should be Faure not Argyriou in my opinion.

Agree1 Disagree0

I also thought Argy was a decent looking player, he seemed to pick up a few injuries though and never got a run of games under his belt. definitely better than faure. I am hearing King KLenny for a return. Think a lot of fans would be against it but he was tremendous for us last time. I'd welcome him back. At 33 would do a job for us in 2nd and 1st divs ona 2 year deal. For the record is twice the player of Novo that a lot of people are still calling for us to sign.

I quite like Argy too, very composed and a good passer, was not spectacular but was reliable.

Just herd that Aston Villa are looking at Lewis Mcleod! don't think it will be a first team target but one for the future! hope its not true or doesn't go! he is the heart of the team and will be future captain! and will get a lot more money for him when back in the SPL!

Believable9 Unbelievable41

Well, if celtic cn get £12. 5 million for wanayama, or what ever his name is, then macleod must be worth at least £15,000,000

Agree1 Disagree2

Their scouts wouldn't be doing their jobs if they weren't looking at players his age who are playing first team.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lewis is going no were in a hurry he's far to good for aston villa, die hard rangers fan aswel he's taking us back to the top. the boy can go as far as he wants in football

Agree1 Disagree1

Think we have to be realistic about any young player that Rangers produce. Any interest from England and they will be gone. It's the way ahead for the club rearing youngsters then selling them off to England hopefully getting a decent fee. Not sure though under current management that will happen

Agree0 Disagree0

@1) Aye bud he must be deserving of that tag after his exploits in the 4th tier of Scottish football last season and a few friendlies this pre-season eh?. Give yourself a break. Not everything has to be judged against Celtic and there players. I ask you, do you realistically see us getting anywhere near 12.5 million for Lewis McLeod at any point of his career? Barry McKay was the wonder boy at the start of last season, now I see people are forgetting to even put him amongst there subs in there best line up posts on here this season. It was John Fleck once over and look what happened to him. Struggling to get a kick at Coventry in league 1.

Far too good for Aston Villa is ignorance aswell @3) they're premiership and are currently courting 25 million bids for Benteke. If they really wanted him they could come and take him, same applies for any Celtic player if they pay the right money and wages. Let the lad show us what he can do against SPL opposition in the cups for starters before you start putting 15 million pricetags on him FFS.

Agree1 Disagree1

No wonder rangers fans get ridiculed with statements like number 1 post.

macleod has experience in 4th tier of scottish football. wanyama 2 years in spl and 2 years experience in europe.

no matter how much you want the current rangers players to be on a par with celtics players in terms of value quality and experience it ain't going to happen any time soon.

sandanza, cribari, faure, shiels we were told would be top quality players,,,, and what happened?

fact is all of rangers squad at the moment are a million miles from players like jelavic, naismith, bougherra, magregor, cuelluer, hutton.

yous have a slighlty better than average team and you will get to SPL no bother but unless ally goes the rangers will get no were near a cup or spl win

Agree0 Disagree3

@1 you have to go indoors out of the sun as it is making you delirious. JK

Bilel Mohsni deal will be concluded at end of this week Just tying up loose ends Mohsni to sign a 3 year contract worth around £900,000 in wages! On the other hand i'm not sure whether Pandza will sign It has been reported the player wants around 8k a week! Wages may be a little high the now in Div 2

Believable28 Unbelievable20

I sincerely hope that the £900,000 figure is way off the mark, if it is not then we have not learn't a damn thing from the past. If this guy is so good and free from a transfer fee then why is not another single club chasing him?

Agree1 Disagree0

He looks as if he would be a threat from corners and free kicks, something we lacked last season as well

JG

Agree0 Disagree1

Guys, this is a rumour site for a reason, until the player is actually paraded at ibrox or murray park, take all these stories with a pinch of salt

Agree1 Disagree0

They obv rate him highly from what they have seen

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jul 2013 17:33:10
So have I read it wrong I took it as the wages are £900, 00 for the full 3 year contract??

Agree0 Disagree0

For the full 3 years that's sounds about right the about 7. 5k a week

Agree0 Disagree0

It works out at about 6k a week! that's £300,000 a season Seems decent!

Agree0 Disagree0

8 k ain't that bad tbh, my mates dad gets 3 k a week and he's a owner of a sh*tty car buisness
