5 more points required, let ally win the league then send him on his merry way, results, performances and signings have been way short of what the fans deserve. We need to stop this mentality that he deserves the job because he has been through a lot because WE ALL have suffered and none of us deserves the job, although I personally think most of us could do a better job. We are talking about spl standard players struggling in div 3, not good enough. I want an honest guage of how other fans feel so if you want ally out click believable and if you want him to stay click unbelievable,

Believable159 Unbelievable159

Are you really blaming Ally for Blacks performances? Or Sandaza being utter gash, both playing in their natural positions. Or a Brazilian that played in seria A being the worst center half ever to play at Ibrox. Yes there's things wrong but a list of non triers and non interested players should be hunted first. These players should be good enough for Div 3 if they would just apply themselves.

Agree1 Disagree1

This is the same Ally who got you a 15 point lead last year? Before you say he lost it also, if you can't see that the upcoming administration and off-field events were filtering through to the drtessing room keep wearing blinkers.
Now premier league players WHO? wallace black mcculloch and templeton ain't 11 players the rest were bit part pl or youth. Yes he made some bad signings but ffs he took what he could get. You can't make proper signings for about a year so again he gets to take what free players he can get on Sep 1st.

I fail to comprehend why you want a new manager when all he can do is win the league, which is exactly what you are going to do and will again next year. The time to assess yer manager is when you are in division one ( or whatever the second tier is called then). If yer still playing crap by al;l means boot him.

Agree1 Disagree1

Quite possible the most stupid statement on here we are 5 points away from title but results have been poor get a grip green has said it ALLYS HERE TO STAY HE AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE GET USED TO IT

to the second reply' vry sensible an honest post' he never reallyhad a chance ' though I think its the tactics that are the problem tommyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Mourinho is the answer!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably the 3 most sensible replys to a post I have seen on here, I myself just want to win the league and get this season over with, ally is the man for the job and we can judge him when he can get some better players to back up, big jig, wallace, temps black, sandaza, little and a few of the other kids

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol why would you sack him he's did well considering the worst players iv ever seen is at the club and who in there right mind would come and manage rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes agree ally and his pals must retire. their job is done. good people but not good football managers. no shame in this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally hasn't had a fair crack at the whip, it would be wrong to get rid of him. We'll win the league which is the most important thing, so job done. Once we're over the transfer embargo and he can make a few signings we can start judging him

Agree0 Disagree0

I totally agree, the only thing we can do is win the league and that is what's going to happen. He had his hands tied in getting players in, when he got guys like sandaza, black and kyle you would think that was nice work as they did fairly well for their SPL teams, how was ally to know that sandaza would all of a sudden forget how to finish, kyle can't run the length of himself and black well he still does the same job he did for hearts but arguably that wasnt much apart from takin a few bodies here and there, although I still think you need a few that put the boot in, as that's all teams have been doing to us. People need to realise we are a 3rd division side not SPL anymore Inverness and Dundee UTD have proved that. I do think ally has to work more on his tactics as when it goes wrong or just ain't happening for us, he just doesn't seem to be able to get a response sometimes, again though a lot of these players are not helping him sandaza should be scoring more than 1 goal in the 3rd division, black should watch the ball and not the man, kyle should retire as he will never be fit enough to have any impact on a game, hutton needs at least a half yard of pace or just a better touch and the defence well. hm. not much to say about them I don't know where to start, someone help me. Give the guy a chance next season and go from there because nobody would touch that job right now we should be thankfull he wants the job lol {The Ed039's Note - Kevin Kyle left Rangers by mutual consent)

Agree0 Disagree0

Legend always but the evidence suggests that he's not a football manager I'm afraid. I don't just feel it's Allys can to carry either. Durrant and McDowall have to shoulder some of the blame too.
The players we have are by no means world beaters but a good few of them were decent, consistent SPL players not so long ago. There just seems to be a general confusion and apathy around the team and potentially decent young players are being hampered in their progress in my opinion. We're all aware of the difficulties Ally has faced and we love him for his stance in the face of adversity but enough is enough. There is simply something not working and Ally doesn't seem to know what to do to fix it or even get the players up for the fight. I know we're winning Div 3 with apparent ease if you look at the points but so we should be. As many have said before we are a team of full time professionals against plumbers and brickies on £40 a week pocket money! We should beat them on fitness alone! yet we don't even seem to cut it in that department half the time. Before being let anywhere near the Rangers job Ally should have put in the graft at smaller clubs like his peers instead of having a laugh on the telly and dreaming of a movie carer. I honestly think he should have stuck with that career plan because he was good at that. A few years with Walter taking the responsibility is nowhere near enough of an apprenticeship for one of the biggest, high pressure managerial jobs in world football. I just hope Ally realises this before he is forced out because he deserves better.

Agree1 Disagree0

A good précis of the situation Baybear. Yes we are winning the league and anything else would be unthinkable, but it's the manner in which it was done and the apparent lack of progress that irks me. Granted players were signed quickly, but surely in a professional organisation you would expect a forward looking policy with a structure in place to pick out players for scenario A, B or C. Ally and his staff were all there pre/post admin and therefore should have been planning for the season. It's not as if they turned up the day before the season started and had to phone round to cobble a team together. A system of play and superior fitness should have been apparent by now. Is he suddenly going to become tactically aware next season? I don't think so. We need a change to freshen things up for next season wherever we will be playing. Two seasons of Ally's football has been murder to watch, a third and it may affect season ticket sales Mr Green.

Agree1 Disagree0

What you are forgetting mate is tha ally stuck by rangers when no1 eles would its about time to stuck by him.

Agree0 Disagree0

You're forgetting that if Duff and Duffer had been doing there job properly, he and all the other high earners should have been jettisoned early doors.

Couldnt believe the best player on the pitch was substituted ( Sandaza) at a time when we needed a goal. It is also very evident that Mckay has lost a lot of the confidence that he had earlier in the season, and if Faure is a footballer then i'm a monkeys uncle, he is dire

Believable62 Unbelievable23

If Barry has lost his confidence its because he keeps getting dropped. when people like Black get picked game after game

Agree0 Disagree0

Sandaza 2 goals all season not someone I would rely on to win me games,. he missed (another) an absolute sitter just before he was hooked

Agree0 Disagree0

Robbie Crawford was better than sandaza. Sandaza missed a sitter of a header. He completely missed the ball

Agree0 Disagree0

If Little was up front with Sandaza, where he belongs, the score would never have been in doubt. I thought Sandaza played one of his best games for the team, but he had nobody as a foil.
Little is a natural goalscorer, at this level at least. Why is he on the wing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Disagree. McCoist's signings even prior to admin were terrible. He gave up a 15 point lead prior to admin. The only people performing worse than McCoist at Rangers are the scouting staff. Absolute joke. And before you start griping at me for this post. I am a season ticket holder at Ibrox. Got to most of the games I can and believe in giving everyone a fair chance. McCoist has had his chance and he is not cutting it. Same for Murray in the scouting department

Kevin Kyle leaves rangers by mutual consent

Believable63 Unbelievable12

Great news hope there's more to follow starting with the back room and coaching staff next to leave by mutual consent. tactics are dire ally,, one man up front is a joke

Agree2 Disagree1

Good he was a total donkey and injured most of the time

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin (We'll win the Scottish Cup)Kyle, heehaw!

Agree0 Disagree1

Chances are he'll have had most of his contract paid up so not much of a saving really.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is massive wage bill means he is the first of many to be leaving also tupe ends in 2 months more redundancies to follow

Agree0 Disagree0

Just heard Ally on Clyde SSB. He said he is delighted with the result and the performance. He is producing Junior Football standard performances from full time players. He said penalty was a welcome decision, and we all know that without it we couldn't beat Elgin. When will the heads come out of the sand?. when will the management and owner start to realise Rangers fans are not thick?

After the conflicting comments from CG & Ally about the team, the FACT is RFC needed a penalty to beat Elgin. let's be sober about this.

5 points required for the League, I hope CG is planning to be The Kingmaker in the summer, and replace the existing management set up.

JG Bear.

Believable70 Unbelievable10

Some of the top Junior Teams in Scotland could hold their own against SFL2 AND SFL 3 teams.

Agree1 Disagree0

How could he satisfied by that performance. Yes it's three points, but don't give me the excuse its nerves, just trying to get the title over the line. We're twenty points ahead and should be doing the exhibition stuff now. You grimace every time you see someone with the ball in a deep position because you know they are just going to hump it up the park. There is no movement, passing or team play. They see each other in training every day and should be familiar with how one another plays. It's not good enough and sadly Ally is not up to the job. It's Butcher for me. He can pick out a player and organise his team. Who cares how many doors he kicks down or dugouts he wrecks. It's called passion and we need a team to play with that and skill.

Agree1 Disagree1

You so called rangers fan stop your wingin eh your top of the league with a team that changes week in week out due to injury. you had no pre-season due to the shannanigans of the takeover. why don't you just get this season over with and let ally have a pre-season and bring in better players and then see how he fairs at the start of next season. okay the football is not pleasant to watch but it was never going to be. you would think you were bottom of the league the way your all going on. get behind the team and stop yer crying. ffs i'm a dunfermline supporter so think how my club are feeling now and I ain't crying I am trying to get behind the club when they need me and others most.

Guys like you blindly follow following are the reason we are where we are. David Murray was never challenged & ruined our club then passed it on to Whyte who was never challenged & liquidated us. Green buys assets at an unchallenged rate & now you want us to watch this total garbage from an awful manager unchallenged! YOU & blihnd people like YOU are the problem!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunfermline supporters are not addicted to singing WATP and Simply the Best, the gers fans are suffering withdrawal symptoms.

Detox at Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

The seasons almost over and your coming out with no preseason patter. So 3-4 friendly games against armature teams would have made the team better. Oh wait it's armature teams rangers have been playing all season. Game was dire yesterday players look slow and lethargic
