Cannot believe rangers won't be signing hagi because 5 million is too expensive. If he's half as good as they say he is rangers would easily get triple at least what they paid for him.

17 Apr 2020 13:07:41
Don't believe that for a second rangers new what the price would be before he came don't fall for fake news paper headlines.

17 Apr 2020 14:42:58
We have no idea when the league will re start again. So at the moment 5 mill probably is to much yes.

17 Apr 2020 17:02:52
6Counties, maybe we don’t have £5million? Things in the football world will change after all this✌️🇬🇧.

17 Apr 2020 17:30:55
The transfer market will change dramatically after this. The ridiculous wages, transfer fees etc will start to fall as it just shows with as many clubs struggling how fragile football is as a business.

18 Apr 2020 00:50:35
As much as everything you have said is true, unfortunately it will all go back to unsustainable wages and transfer fees because the majority of clubs will have learned nothing from this.

18 Apr 2020 11:07:39
It really wouldn’t surprise me if apart from ourselves and Celtic and maybe 2 or 3 teams the rest of Scottish football will go part time. I hope I’m wrong but that’s how bad it could end up after all this ends IMO.

18 Apr 2020 14:27:05
Not signing hagi ain’t the end of the world, the media hype about other clubs wanting him is just spin to get us to pay up. He’s a talented young man no doubt but he’s a little light weight and doesn't have a great deal of pace, imo £5m is a lot of money for him, that said he’d be far better value than Ryan Kent.

Herwego55, exactly mate, if this lockdown goes on much longer lots of clubs will fold, worldwide.

18 Apr 2020 20:47:55
Paulellen, was reading a piece on web the other day, hinting at each league having s salary cap like other sports. Also clauses in contracts to cover something like this in the future. Reckon over the next couple of seasons the value of players and wages paid will fall, and fall dramatically.

19 Apr 2020 23:31:42
Herwego55, i will have a look online mate see if i see the piece your refering to mate, but i agree something needs to be done, there are players getting over a million pound a week, at this moment in time. they will all retire together& take over the world, they could afford to, pal. lol.

Having some inside knowledge of Douglas Park and how he operates you can be certain he will deliver the hammer blow at the correct point for Rangers when it will have maximum impact.

17 Apr 2020 09:09:09
Would love for that to happen Willie, but doubt it will mate.

Yes your honour, we seen the ballot slip is said no . Brilliant 👍👍.

SPFL rule 182 - once an email vote has been sent it has been officially cast. 🤔.

17 Apr 2020 11:16:32
Our manager used same words as our chairman, this shows unity and clear support in our stance. We would not call for inquiry if we did not have evidence that highlights major wrong doing. Nor would we call for suspension of the 2 involved.
All will be revealed in due course.
Nobody shows their hand to the opponent before any game begins, hold tight and don’t fall into the bluff and counter bluff coming from SPFL and the media.

17 Apr 2020 11:29:35
Aye MrTup, but have 28 days to change the vote (rule god knows what one tho) .

17 Apr 2020 14:54:30
Yes Bluebilly, apparently so but at first the SPFL said Dundee never voted.
And also when the votes were announced nobody knew who had still to vote.
So how come Dundee knew there vote hadn't arrived as they submitted it in good faith?
And we now have an internal investigation at the SPFL being carried out by one of the main suspects in all the skulduggery!

17 Apr 2020 15:48:09
Yea outragous MacLennan said Dundee vote arrived at six but they phoned to say to discount it at half five .
Dundee released a statement last night saying they never sent the vote but out their foot in the ball . total joke full of lies over and over.

Great point Tupac.

50 odd years ago studied a wee bit of law, always recall learning about legal status of posting acceptance. Technology may have changed and we’ve moved from snail mail to email but the principle has not.

17 Apr 2020 23:45:33
I know some people that are close with park and he wouldn't open this can of worms without sufficient evidence of wrongdoing. You don't get to where he is in business by making amateur mistakes. There is more to this than has been reported or leaked.

18 Apr 2020 15:10:06
Correct Bankie, written communication always trumps verbal communication. As QC for Jags points out the email communication is deemed active at the time sent as opposed to received.

18 Apr 2020 15:28:12
Just heard that what park has could have serious legal consequences not only for SPFL in civil court but also for several people in criminal court.
