On the alexander issue. Loyalty and business simply do not mix. Rangers are sufficiently ahead that they could from alexander for the likes of blair currie and still win the league. That is the position green is in - he isn't long term & and is no longer essential in our quest.

People going on about a shortage of cash - no - purely business sense to reduce a non-essential cost. H

Neil has been a great servant - but no longer a long tern prospect.

If loyalty & business don't mix, why the fuss over the players who were supposedly disloyal last summer and didn't TUPE over to the New club.
After all, it's their liveliehood we're talking about. Or is that different.
Should everyone show blinding loyalty to the club but the club have the right to treat them like crap any time they like?.

Why is the backroom (non essential) staff not being cut first. Miller said this too expensive to contemplate - huge redundancy costs. ? is this true is cutting players wages cheaper?

Loyalty and business don't mix? Well I've been loyal to Rangers for longer than I care to remember and ill be loyal till the day I die, and ill be buying my season ticket again next season like thousands of other loyal Gers fans. Alexander stayed loyal when others ran for cover, he deserves our loyalty now.

I see CG has agreed with fans at a meeting last night the renaming of Ibrox. But why was a newcastle executive at the meeting. to inform them how to change the name back if they don't like it?

Believable24 Unbelievable15

And do you change the name back if you don't like it? Do you need to pay the money back? Or do you get someone else in? What did this Newcastle ex active say?

Prob there on behalf of Ashley, its going to be the sports direct ibrox stadium, that much is obvious

Remember green saying when he was in talks with ashley about joining with shares, that having him onboard would bring in more revenue from his shops and possible naming rights to ibrox

Ashleys shops are well known to have cheap & poorly made merchandise. Do we really want associated with this for the small amount being paid? Gives people yet another chance to mock us I'd say.

Mike Ashley also owns Kangol, Dunlop and
owns a 3 percent stake in German sportswear group Adidas, valued at €270 million (£183 million). he has also bought out
JJB sport and is looking to bid on House Of Fraser so sponsorship name could be anything.
AJM.

Green agreed with fans? you mean fans agreed with green that name change was getting done whether the fans agreed or not

Uuuhmmm. Dunlop. Are you still wearing your Dunlop Green Flash Pumps from 1974. They were just great. Quality brand. All the other kids had Adidas Kick, but I loved the quality of my Dunlop Pumps. The Ibrox Dunlop Green Flash Arena. ooops. Green? now that could be a problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

Call it what you want, itll ALWAYS be Ibrox Stadium to the fans, changes nothing, and if it brings much needed cash to the club, who cares. I think some people forget just how close we came to not even having a club. still. BEST supported team in Scotland, not bad for Div 3 :)
