I believe if we are getting hyndman in then we are selling windass and if we get seven figures then thanks josh enjoy Leeds.

17 Jan 2018 23:11:20
If the board and murty have any sense our midfield so far is Murphy, potentially hyndman, windass, Dorrans Jack, candeias and rossiter when fit. Windass won't go. His dad will tell him he needs one or two more good seasons before he gets a West ham or Everton. That's my hope lol. With Martin, Cummings and more SO FAR I'm more optimistic than I've ever been! Let Hearts have the traiter! We r stopping ten in a Row!

18 Jan 2018 07:03:30
Anything less than 3 mill and a sell on clause for wndass is bad business. We need to stop letting players go on the cheap.

18 Jan 2018 09:56:24
At last someone on here agrees with me about naismith.

18 Jan 2018 10:16:29
Plenty of Rangers fans don’t want Naismith back. He is a rat

18 Jan 2018 11:53:39
Well I beg to differ because a lot of guys on here wanted him back based on the argument he’s better than what we’ve got. Will always be a rat just like Lafferty McGregor and Whittaker.

18 Jan 2018 12:16:01
I'd rather have Windass than Hyndman back

18 Jan 2018 14:22:19
I have been very vocal on here about Naismith as has Supercooper and others. Have only noticed you mention him once. The rats can all get themselves to feck.

18 Jan 2018 15:25:17
Naismith is a better option than herrera, no doubt. Is he a better option than morelos windass and cummings? Absolutely not! I would rather have docherty and give him the chance to flourish in the team than waste a wage that would top up a pension.

18 Jan 2018 16:19:07
I wouldn't care how much a rat Naismith was if he came in an won us games, but I suspect he'd be injured more than he played.

18 Jan 2018 21:40:28
I agree with some of above and I’d take Cummings every day of the week over Naismith. I just hope him and Laff don’t come back to bite us . Sod’s law

17 Jan 2018 21:09:55
Rangers officials have met with Hamilton over the Docherty deal and a price has been agreed, formal bid of the agreed fee to go in tomorrow or friday which could see the Docherty in as early as next Monday. No truth in The Hyndman deal the rumour has only came about as Murty has said he is a young talented player. Leeds have had a bid of 750k for Josh Windass rejected and they are preparing to come back with an improved offer.

18 Jan 2018 17:24:22
This isn’t even close to being true. Docherty will play for Accies on Saturday and will not be sold until summer. I appreciate it’s a rumours website and your passing on info you know but It’s not true.

18 Jan 2018 18:26:57
Cp19901 and how do you know it’s not true

18 Jan 2018 20:51:34
He doesn't know anything clearly as it looks like Docherty will sign tomorrow

17 Jan 2018 21:02:57
I really hope they go all out for Doherty. Would also like to see them sign belgium under 21 winger Henen. Good and very fast. Plus coming to end of contract at everton. Natural left winger.

17 Jan 2018 20:46:45
Hyndman would be brilliant to get in loan or sign?

17 Jan 2018 20:58:51
Agree hyndman would be a good signing but i would rather have another player signed rather another one in on loan.

17 Jan 2018 20:44:09
If the reports are true and we do sign emerson hyndman on loan again, i wonder if that's the sign, that we're not signing greg docherty! Both hyndman and docherty are similar box to box midfielders, with an eye for goal!

I really like both these players but i just don't think murty will sign both! If we had a chance of securing the permanent signing of hyndman, then i'd take him over docherty, but i doubt very much that bournemouth would allow us any chance of eventually signing hyndman permanently! His transfer fee would also be out our reach!

So ED, if you don't mind mate, can you set up a poll for our supporters on this subject, ie. which box to box midfielder would you prefer rangers to sign, emerson hyndman or greg docherty? Cheers ED, if you don't mind!

Rangers Midfielder Poll

17 Jan 2018 20:56:54
I would rather have docherty

17 Jan 2018 21:17:12
Coldo your spot on get Docherty in “rangers don’t let this one get away”, the boy Hyndman looked good on the ball at times but no dig, a feel Docherty is a powerful player, a mean Hyndman if I can remember last time playing against ra Celik went in to hiding mode, we need a bit a steel in there! Some one that will take the ball and power on with it!

17 Jan 2018 21:18:58
Emerson Hyndman was poor for us first time around. So poor he couldn't force his way into Bournemouth's plans either.

Absolutely 100% don't want him.

17 Jan 2018 21:39:37
I don't want Hyndman on loan either but how can you say he was poor?! Docherty all the way for me

17 Jan 2018 21:57:15
we need a midfielder with a physical presence not hyndman pointless deal if we bring him in

17 Jan 2018 22:01:57
I think you’re being a bit harsh saying Hyndman was poor. He was one of our best players at the time of I remember correctly.

17 Jan 2018 22:23:25
Docherty gets my vote.

17 Jan 2018 23:19:15
Hyndman gets my vote. was brilliant against Celtic at parkhead the 1-1 game and people are sayn he was poor. 😌

17 Jan 2018 20:30:43
Meeting supposedly took place today between us and accies and deal is in place, we get it done and immediate move
Source est sharing 4 lads had a dream on twitter and they were bang on about jc.

17 Jan 2018 20:56:27
Hope so stmonkey.

18 Jan 2018 11:04:42
No point taking any more loan players unless exceptional Hyman good player but not great and no better than midfielders at club . better chance on docherty buy with hope he develop into a great player

17 Jan 2018 19:02:32
Some papers reporting we are signing Emerson Hyndman on loan tomorrow.
I suspect that would end interest in Docherty.

17 Jan 2018 20:25:31
Only time will tell jboy we might or might not have money to get Docherty although this transfer month has been good they are all loans like to see them splash some cash shut up other Scottish teams saying we’ve no money be disappointed if we get Hyndman instead of Docherty

17 Jan 2018 20:27:47
I'm quite happy with that he's got a lot of potential, I was talking about him the other week wondering why we hadn't approached Bournemouth again for his services.

I like the look of that Roberts's from WBA he turns like Mols.

17 Jan 2018 20:33:53
Hyndman not a bad player but is only loan Bournemouth want him back rather have Docherty

17 Jan 2018 21:11:44
I would definitely take hyndman back - i thought the lad was quality when he was last here; good on the ball, played with his head up, scored goals and has already worked under murty.

It also looks like accies are going to want mega bucks for docherty, so we should try and get hyndman in till summer and maybe go back in for docherty then.

18 Jan 2018 09:06:30
If we don’t get him now Trev somebody else will snap him up this window

18 Jan 2018 09:27:13
nobody turns like Mols

18 Jan 2018 18:10:47
Watch him a little Mols in him

17 Jan 2018 12:15:23
This look like the best transfer window in years. British based players at last. Hopefully we are starting to turn a corner. Let's hope DK and the other director make a big push to get serious funds available for the summer so we can sign some of the loan deals up should they do well

17 Jan 2018 13:41:01
impressed with transfer business done so far if we could top it off with some pre contract deals it would a really good transfer window.
as for the finance in the summer i think we will have more of a idea once this situion with king and the takeover is sorted one way or another.

17 Jan 2018 14:13:14
You say British players at last? You forgetting garner Windass, crooks tavenier Foerster halliday Holt dodo were all British signings

17 Jan 2018 16:10:09
Think he mean't half decent british players

17 Jan 2018 16:38:10
I don't care if they are 'British', as long as they are decent

17 Jan 2018 10:33:00
Rumour going about Cahill to the gers good atacking mid great with the head would be a free wages affordable and he needs matches to cement his place in the Aussie national team, well worth a punt, we would have a mix of experience with youth, get Kranjcar off the wage bill hey presto lol what yous think?

17 Jan 2018 10:58:16
He's 38 🤔 NAW!

17 Jan 2018 11:16:56
Nope.

17 Jan 2018 11:44:10
Absolutely no chance. I'm hoping we've moved away from signing the old experienced 'names'.

17 Jan 2018 12:17:11
Cahill at 38 you serious?

17 Jan 2018 12:52:38
He's better than Miller and we all rave about him

17 Jan 2018 15:29:36
China

Apart from the Hearts game Miller has received a fair amount of criticism for his poor performances so no we don’t rave about him

17 Jan 2018 16:12:18
No way at 38 get a grip. we are trying to move forward and not bk, we could tie up young players on pre contracts for his wages.

17 Jan 2018 16:28:40
Cahill was some player and had a bit of nastiness about him which I like. But at 38? Maybe not

17 Jan 2018 21:01:29
Haha this is a wind up lads

17 Jan 2018 09:01:58
First time I've posted a rumour, usually here for the banter. I have a "cousin" from the dark side of the family, Leeds supporter lives in Huddersfield, asking me about Windass, seems pretty sure Leeds want him. Just passing on what he said.

17 Jan 2018 09:35:46
Has your cousin been reading today’s daily record by any chance👍

17 Jan 2018 16:40:12
This is true, Leeds are looking at him. 10 people think its unbelievable though! Maybe they all saw Leeds not watching him?

17 Jan 2018 01:50:14
Naismith to Hearts on loan for the rest of the season. Knew it wouldn't be a full transfer at this stage, reportedly he wants 10k a week. Don't think Hearts could pay that tbh. Also makes me question where the papers got the 'playing for Rangers for free' story from? 🤔

Anybody that bothered about missing out on him? I always said Cummings preferable over Naismith personally. 10 years of a difference between them and Naismith is injury prone. We have enough injury prone players as it is.

That being said, it's a great signing for Hearts and will more than likely score against us, after all just about ever other ex-Ger this season has 😂.

17 Jan 2018 06:08:42
Nope, he’s a rat.

17 Jan 2018 06:39:19
Don’t know if he would have played for free but I think he’s a very good player on his day and would have taken him back.

17 Jan 2018 07:26:33
Good riddance

17 Jan 2018 08:52:13
I would have preferred him not to go to anyone else in Scotland as he will come back and haunt us no doubt just hope he haunts Celtic and Aberdeen more!

17 Jan 2018 11:01:35
The 'play for free' thing was a complete tabloid fabrication. He said only that money wasn't an issue, and from that the red tops came up with a 'play for free' lie.

17 Jan 2018 12:13:33
I would worry to much if Hearts sign Naismith, he'll end up with an injury, AGAIN!

17 Jan 2018 12:47:58
Cummings is the man for me. Naismith will only sit on the hospital bed after a few matches

17 Jan 2018 15:48:14
I for one am happy we did not sign Naismith. Cummings and Murphy better deals in my opinion.
As I've said before I have no axe to grind, he is a good man whose Loaves and Fishes charity proves. Good luck young man.
