Former Ibrox director Dave King is ready make a fresh investment in Rangers after winning a six-year court battle with the South African Revenue Service to have a freeze on his British assets revoked.j
AJM.

I doubt that very much. He was scathing about Charles Green and his consortium taking over Rangers. I doubt even the presence of Walter Smith in the directors box would make him change his mind.

Why would anyone invest in Rangers or any Scottish team for that matter ?

I just don't get it.

Because its totally different being a boyhood fan of a club and investing money, than being a foreigner investing money thats why!

So its an emotional investment not a commercial one ?

A bit like SDM and CW ?

mmmm, I love Rangers fans.

Thought he was taking minty to court twice bitten and all that do not think he would get involved with that nest of vipers

Very sad news get better soon sandy jardine u can battel this horrible illness

Yeah, but he loves the bears!

Stirling game on 8th december heading for a sell out, big flag display to celebrate 140year history!

King's money or interest isn't welcome.
It's not a free for all here for the old board.
Who next? Bain? Johnstone? Sdm? Fking bar stewards one and all.

B very surprised if that happened, he invested 20Mil the last time, before we went belly up

King is a foolish figure. Only two guys put any money into Rangers and lost it all and he was one of them.
Sdm and everyone else had their snouts in the trough taking money out.
King lost £20m but the other guy is Joe Lewis the merchant banker who put in £40m on assurances from SDM. He lost the lot.
Lewis is a Yorkshireman and it wouldn't surprise me if Green and Ahmed are his front for getting his money back.

Jo Lewis is a east london boy, quick google finds that out! Muppet!

And if anyone actually bothered to read what King has said, its that he will invest when we are back in the SPL with the sole purpose of his investment being used to improve the quality of the squad required to compete in the SPL.

Boy Blue

Shouldn't the future be all about AVOIDING dodgy business people ? After all that's why the club is in this mess in the first place ??

Im not so sure he has won. His £28 a bottle red wine is being sold in Odd Bins right now for £8 as it has been all taken off him in South Africa by the tax man so the can get some of their cash they are owed. I was told the story by the odd Bins staff and bought a bottle.

Id much rather have a wealthy boyhood fan making an emotional investment, than a commercial investment anyday!
