Strong rumours that Dave King is to be booted out. If true that is very good news.

17 Nov 2015 18:50:40
Booted out of where? What planet are you on?

17 Nov 2015 18:59:17
why is that very good?

17 Nov 2015 19:01:24
Care for an explanation? Or just here to make negative statements?

17 Nov 2015 20:09:12
I heard Park is determined to buy Kings shares. Its no secret he can't go King and may see Ashleys personal vendetta with him ending badly for the Club.

17 Nov 2015 19:42:56
Booted off the board. This can only be viewed as positive news. King has done nothing but damage the club for the past 2 years, he continues to drag the club through the mud and his court appearance in December appears to be the final straw. He has antagonised Ashley far too much and the growing number of court cases will ultimately cost us more than King will ever bring to the club. If this is true this is the best thing to happen for us.

17 Nov 2015 19:58:16
Just another 1 of them obsessed with us.

17 Nov 2015 23:45:08
Davie1980, you beat me to it mate.

18 Nov 2015 08:33:28
Dave Kings secured the club away from the previous regime, brought in a new manager that has transformed the playing side, let that manager bring in a whole new team whilst getting the players that were left over playing well again, slowly building up the backroom staff to make the club a proper football club again, starting to sort out the scouting team and starting to improve the stadium at the same time.

All this with very little controversial press apart from what has been left over from the old regime.

ABH, you don't have a clue what you're on about!

18 Nov 2015 08:45:56
ABHABH1 I try not to be a, if you don't agree with what I say your wrong, but you make it very difficult. The only US who would be happy to see DK go are Celtic.

18 Nov 2015 10:09:00
I can't believe some of the p1sh I read on here sometimes. Bigandy hit the nail right on the head, where WOULD we be without DK? He may not be perfect but I believe he has the clubs best interests at heart and I certainly feel more confident having him at the helm as opposed to the last regime. Let's try and get behind our club folks. The last few years have been bad enough!

18 Nov 2015 19:10:28
I think people are forgetting King has already ploughed in and lost £20m. By the time he's finished he'll probably be the clubs largest ever single investor. That's why Celtic fans like ABA are trying to undermine what is happening at our club.
If Dave King comes out all guns blazing in the summer transfer market with Warburton and his backroom team in charge Celtic will have serious problems. We have a better manager and more loyal fan base. There on the down, we're on the up, simple.

18 Nov 2015 12:07:34
My god Dave King has been superb for Rangers, the only reason Mike Ashley is battling us is because he has found out this board does not put their own interests before the club. we finally have people that won't back down, and yeah so he might not put 30 million into the club, btw I said might, but one thing I'm sure of is that with this board we will be run properly. the turnaround in 6 months has been incredible, considering there is still so many people blocking them at every turn.

18 Nov 2015 22:17:43
ABHABH1, you are no Rangers fan and come over as one of the envious, green obsessives.

18 Nov 2015 21:22:09
Ok, it appears that I am very much in the minority here. However, I was in the minority when I wasn't taken in by either Whyte or Green. We shall wait and see. If I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up.

19 Nov 2015 10:48:16
Every fan is entitled to their opinion but surely people can see what's trying to be done at ibrox now.

20 Nov 2015 15:24:19
King is no saint. But to compare him to whyte or green is ridiculous. Yes ask serious questions of him and the board but remember the current players (king, Murray and park) are investigating out of love for the club not to leach every penny they can like Ashley, whyte, green and the man who caused it all - David Murray.

Ashley has his hands round the throat of the club and proves that in UK that if your rich you can do what you want. He is not just trying to ruin us- his empire was built on destroying the competition then buying their liquidated stock at knock down prices. Along with treating staff like slaves.

Any gers fan who spends a single penny in sports direct should really have a bit more intelligence. You aren't helping the club- your helping destroy it.

I've just heard Harry winks has been called up to train with the England squad. it's just a pity we never got the boy on loan as he must have bags of potential, but the 3 loan players we do have, have been superb WATP.

17 Nov 2015 20:17:57
Do not think he would have been chosen if he had been at Ibrox.

18 Nov 2015 07:49:30
Why would a player from the reserves league be training with the England squad? Ryan Mason will train with them but he is an established 1st team star alongside Dier, Kane and Alli etc.

19 Nov 2015 10:50:08
Don't shoot the messenger, he must have something, since the boy trained with the England first team last week.

20 Nov 2015 15:25:47
An English passport and the backing of the English media, after all they pick the squad. always have.

Two new rumours this morning of note and both for welsh players interestingly.
Tom Bradshaw - 23yr old playing at Walsall in League1. quick striker who is also being linked with a host of championship clubs. Source HITC sports
Louis Thompson - 20yr old playing at Swindon on loan from Norwhich until January. Midfielder lined up as a replacement for Zelalem should he be recalled to Arsenal in Jan. Source HITC sports again.
