A certain James McFadden due to sign for Everton...

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15338642.stm

Believable37 Unbelievable2

Who cares he's had to many injuries in my opinion to be a consistent threat in any team and so will be a bench warmer 80% of matches

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't like talking about celtic on here as it make us as bad as them but this was talked about the day before their AGM. Coincidence?, i think not, players linked with them this summer
Craig Gordon
Craig Bellamy
Wayne Bridge
James Mcfadden
to name only 4, Number of premiership 'stars' signed big fat 0

Lawell is pulling the wool over the eyes of timmy and they swallow it.

Got to love it.

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Well how many knock yous back MILLER.DANNS.CUELLER.GOODWILLIE.SUM DUD THAT WENT TAE MALLORCA. Then we have the 1s that you try and say yous had no interst in I.E murphyfrom motherwell, the list is long. THE SAME AS YOUR TAX BILL LOL...

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha,go worry about you own club timmy!. My opinion celtic knew none of these players would come and were just trying to get some press!, and u all fall for it.

go back to your own page!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont need to worry, we dont have a £49 million DEBT hanging over us so enjoy your wee friendly against the pool, when we make a other few hundard thound £s in europe, every little helps suppose A, Dont worry theo the league is in the bag this year again so far.

Agree0 Disagree0

League definitely not over and would never say it is. Would be great to be in europe but we can just watch selic destroy the coefficient. Getting into europe on a technicality , real class act!.

Where abouts did u get the 49 million from?, it seems to be getting larger every time timmy talks.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wonder if uefa will have the balls to chuck celtic out of europe when sion win their legal battle. wonder if the might sellick will pay back the money they get haha {Ed001's Note - they can't chuck Celtic out as the fault lies with UEFA and Sion, not Celtic. Sion for cheating and UEFA for stupidly accepting their team sheet, they have made a complete pigs ear of this as usual.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic arnt the 1s running out of money celtic arnt the 1 looseing all of its directors and here is whyte saying things are going to get beter they have gotten worse you will be in administration before the year is out

Agree0 Disagree0

£49 million tax bill? there is no £49 million tax bill ya kretin.thats how much it may possibly be but thats just an estimate.keep clinging onto the hope that we do go into admin, cause thats the only way you'll have a sniff at the league trophy.
drumlad

Agree0 Disagree0

And more importantly celtic are not the ones going for four in a row

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers go into admin and they will have to catch up with the mighty steelmen at the top, celtic will probably need them to go into admin as well to stand a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

You been playin champ man again timmy even if we do go into admin well still b champs at the end a the season correct we dont have a big team but you cant question the teams spirt ect where as ur "beloved smelltic" have 2 teams & still canny keep up wake up & smell the coffee lawell is pullin the wool over ur eyes pal.

do u really think mr whyte is gonna buy a sinkin ship if hes gonna fail? nobody knows i for 1 will still be at ibrox even if the worst happens

just heard from a reliable source that jordan rhodes is signing in jan 100per cent

Believable16 Unbelievable36

Hope this is true whats your source

Agree0 Disagree0

REALLY ? Can Rangers afford to sign him. prob looking at 4mill at least. Also HUDDS TOWN have said hes not for sale !

Agree0 Disagree0

No way would it be 4 million. He plays in league 2. Young and clearly gifted player. Would defo like to see him at Ibrox.

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

He is probably being truthful, all he said is he is signing in Jan, he didn t say who he was signing for or WHAT he may be signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

As this is the rangers page i would imagine he means signing for rangers

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone cant read first post says JORD sighning 100per cent. pls explain how that means "maybe" he will sign. ps hudds in league 1 pls get ya facts rite or you just look like a muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Old league 2. hardly a big deal, the point is that sort of money does not change hand at that level.

So we have to take every comment as 100 percent accurate then and not discuss the transfer?. ur the muppet. Its gossip not fact.

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be a decent signing.good for him and us.potential full international wouldnt do his chances any harm playing for the champions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now now folks lets keep it cosmic, are we not all hoping for this to be a real deal, don't shoot it down until its proved wrong. P.S i would quite like us to bring him in he certainly knows his way to goal and surely that can only become more deadly with age and experience. As long as THAT mob don't snap him up 1st.

Agree0 Disagree0

WATP u making this too easy, it actualy old divison 3 now whos the muppet ! any way JORD prob end up in EPL "rumour" has it liverpool watching him

Agree0 Disagree0

Jordan rhodes will cost around 1-1.5m. good young player and another scot in the team. {Ed001's Note - they rejected a bid of 1.5m in the summer from a Championship side.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah and that was before he knocked in 10 goals in 4 games for club and country. if he keeps finding the net like that till jan the price will just keep goin up "FACT" {Ed001's Note - that is why I made mention of it, they quoted 2.5m for him in the summer, I doubt they would consider anything under 3m now, at the least.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Muppet noT that it matter but......

Huddersfield are in football league one i believe.

Football League One was introduced for the 2004–05 season. It was previously known as the Football League Second Division.

Ok before that it may have been the third but it really does not matter. Sure he would pick the premiership over rangers

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

MA FRIENDS WITH HIS DAD,SAYS ITS DEFO HAPPENING.PERSONALY I HINK THT JELAVIC WILL B OFF

Agree0 Disagree0

OK, same as MILLER N GOODWILLIE WAKE UP THERE IS NO CHANCE because if miller did not come back what makes you think sum 1 fae down south will come to greyskull

Agree0 Disagree0

Watp- have you ever heard of SATIRE?

Agree0 Disagree0

Im just stating a fact. I don't see much satire in your comment. I like the MA FRIENDS WIH HIS DA...... comment. lol

WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Am sure somebody in championship will offer him more we cant compete

john greig has left

Believable41 Unbelievable10

Lifelong blue nose-before any comments to the contrary are made, but with him and Mclelland going, horrific feeling they're jumping from a sinking ship

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch bbc scotland on thursday night 7pm!

Agree0 Disagree0

There,s 2 ways to look at this...is this the last of the people who got us into this trouble away moved out........or is it the last of the people we trust moved from the board....a bit of both i suppose dont like it that there,s no Rangers men there[we only have to take whyte,s word for it he,s a blue nose]if he does not move in a well known raners man we,ll know the games up.....any thoughts anyone........got a bad feeling about this

Agree0 Disagree0

I know he is a true rangers man , but cant help but think he was getting money for nothing . sp.

Agree0 Disagree0

John Greig-a Rangers legend, sweated blood for us from 1960. I wish him all the best for the future. Like the post above however, you have to ask yourself-What's happening at this club?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. Think it was time for him to run along anyway. Thanks for your service and all the best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe they opened there mouths to the bbc about the problams in the board room thats why they got excluded

Agree0 Disagree0

There,s another way of looking at it with whyte there to clear up there sh@t, greig and co cannot be trusted ,whyte was not there running our club into the ground, why should he let people unable to do the job near this debackle he,s there to do a job and move on,what would greig have to say on this mess,a football legend but not up to this job,any thoughts anyone?

Agree0 Disagree0

These guys were part of the old regime and it is only natural that the new owner would wish for his own people who he trusts to be running the club!

I do think John Creig's departure could have been handled better.

For the drama queens posting about a sinking ship, get a grip!. Its not Craig Whytes fault we are in the mess we are in.

Watp

Agree0 Disagree0

John Greig will always be a legend no matter what. His role within the boardroom was perhaps minimal, however he was the closest link to the new board that we as supporters had. The chairman may be a business genius but in terms of communicating to his customer base I am afraid he comes up short.

Agree0 Disagree0

John Greig - a Rangers legend through the decades.....not for a few games, or a few months or maybe a season or two....

Agree0 Disagree0

John Greig ( legend ) was a " corporate director " I fail to see how this imply's that we are a sinking ship when he decides to leave. The bigger issues have been avoided for longer than the arrival of Mr Whyte, where will Rangers fc. be at the end of November ? We are all asking one another questions, and speculating, this story is right up the Dhclans street.............................. Good luck to John Greig, enjoy your retirement Mr Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no dignaty at ibrox when alegend like john greig gets treated like something on the bottom of your shoe mr johnstone was right about this man

Agree0 Disagree0

John Greig aside

David Murrys people should all have offered there resignation when whyte took over. That is what happens when a business is bought. especially when these are the people who guided us into the mess we are in.
Whyte is dealing with all the issues he has inherited.

Also the board members who are taking legal action should be ashamed of themselves.

Agree0 Disagree0

I had the pleasure of meeting both these guys and both were gentlemen, good luck to you both and thanks for a lifes work john.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its ok for Johnstone he,s off its fight to the death now for Whyte gloves of craig get this club through this, hope he uses every dirty trick in the book to get us through this,ha may need to

Agree0 Disagree0

O well things happen for a reason must have a idea that the taxman is back soon and did not want any of his belongings taken to help with the repayments....

Agree0 Disagree0

If this does not show us the contempt that mr whyte has for our club then nothing will. mr gregg was not long ago voted mr rangers , why would mr gregg take this action unless he feared for rangers under the ownership off mr whyte , i know we will say that mr whyte was getting rid off old board members from the murray time , but lets not forget that mr gregg was a great servant for our club and i thank him for that ,
if mr whyte can do this too a man whos statue is outside ibrox then who no`s what he will do next

there is a dark cloud over ibrox tonight , and it will not lift soon ,

Agree0 Disagree0

For what its worth....i think all this was to happen anyway murray was not going to be around for the ship to sink,so they get a captain to steer the ship through these stormy times, all the sh@t had already happened,Whyte will get a skin for helping us through these times someone else will buy us we,ll start again the fatale blow was struck during Murrays money no option times we loved it, i did ,but the pipers at the door demanding to be paid let Whyte steer us through these troubled times it obvious looks as if Murray could do nothing else

Agree0 Disagree0

Too many ex rangers players hanging on to rangers coat tails. The man was a legend that is true but we have to look to the future. Pennyboy

Agree0 Disagree0

John greig rangers legend also one of our worst managers ever lets move on bears

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly john needed to retire ,he,s about that age anyway and our irishman cant be that young either I dont think mr whyte is doing any sweeping out I just think that they decided they wanted out and thats whats happened. Personally I dont see either of these gentleman being much help to rangers in the current state of things anyway its younger more energetic people we need who can fight our corner and contribute some input that can make the difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

We are top of the league going for 4 in a row so far we have kept all our best players so i'll settle for that just now after the fear of the bank emptying us far too early to judge whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

U have to question how much power John Greig was really given. Was he not the guy who picked players up from the airport ect.

The scaremongers will be on about sinking ship but this is the beginning of a new dawn for our club. The future is bright.

Only Dave King left and seeing he is in exile in south africe im pretty sure he has little say in day to day affairs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fan here. Sorry state of affairs when one of the true genlemen left at Ibrox feels he has been treted so badly and is so concerned about his beloved Rangers feels he has no choice but to go.

As for these so called Rangers fans who are basically saying good riddance to a legend hang your heads in shame

Agree0 Disagree0

Has anyone ever stopped to think of how much money those directors were pulling from the club ? and just what direction have the club been going ? the only person not on a wage is Dave King - he is still there - he was not one of the 6 to voice his concern of the whyte take over, John Greig was - It would have been dangerous for whyte to remove Greig - I think it is better this way
