Ed, where are these park chu young and italian player s link coming from pls don't say don't no

{Ed010's Note - The staple diet of this website is to allow football fans and in our case, Rangers fans, the opportunity to voice their opinion or to reveal rumours about possible transfer targets. It does not matter, if the rumour is thought to be or later found to be "pie in the sky", the author of the post is trying to evoke a reaction or debate. It is with these principals in mind, that any rumour will be uploaded to the board, as long as there is a remote possibility that it could be true.

Park Chu Young have heard could be a cheeky bid by mccoist before the premier teams get in {Ed010's Note - Park Chu-Young has got a very good goal scoring record but have Monaco said he is for sale.

Heard a rumour coming from inside Murray Park that Maurice Edu has Recommended international team-mate Oguchi Onyewu as a replacement for Davie Weir as the powerful centre back is out-of-favour at Milan? slow player but very powerful, could be a good replacement for the old man! {Ed010's Note - This player has been linked with Rangers several times in the past, the last time around November 2010. As you quite rightly say he is a big powerful guy but has little or no pace. Rangers may get away with that in the SPL but we would surely get found out in Europe. What do you think Guys ?

Does anyone think hasslebank (spelling) from Hamilton would b a decent target, think he could b a cheap novo. What u think ed?

C-bear85 {Ed010's Note - He has got pace and a few tricks but I don't personally rate him. He is no better than what we have and although we need to increase our squad numbers, I personally think that Humphreys at Motherwell would be a better signing.

Montolivio's agent was in the UK but that was to speak to Man City, according to another Italian sport paper.

Grosso may be a possibility, just like Porrini , good player coming to the end of his career but still plenty to offer in the SPL.

Let's be honest the days of us getting world class players in their prime are gone. What we need is a squad of grafter's to blend in with what we have, an tried an tested forward to share the load with Jela.

ALLY MCCOIST SET TO RAID ON ITALY'S SERIE A PLAYERS :-

FIORENTINA'S UNSETTLED MIDFIELDER RICARDO MONTOLIVO

JUVENTUS'S EXPIERENCED LEFT-BACK FABIO GROSSO

AND FORWARD ALLESANDRO DIAMANTI FROM RELEGATED BRESCIA

SOURCE = LA CALCIO GAZETTE (ITALIAN NEWSPAPER)

has RICARDO MONTOLIVO not signed a pre contract with inter ????????

{Ed010's Note - Montolivo has 12 months left on his contract with Fiorentina and they want a transfer fee in the summer, rather than him walking away next year for nothing.

To the person that said this:

I know everyone says this but I genuinely have a contact within Ibrox and most of the rumours on here are nonsense. However i have it on very good authority that a meeting has been set up between Ally McCoist and Titus Bramble as soon as Ally gets back from the US. With David Weir leaving to take a coaching role at Everton, Ally is keen to have some experience at the back. Another name near the top of a very long list is Julien Rodriguez. The coaching staff are keen to bring him back as they feel he was far better than he showed last time he was at the club. Both deals are expected to go through towards the middle of next month.
Like i say, everyone claims to know someone but these are not rumours. Ive been told first hand by someone at the club.

Weir has come out saying he will be playing next season wither it's with Rangers or another club so he won't be taking up a coaching role unless its a player/ coach role and guranteed to play

Ed any word on Healy being offered a new deal? Also any more word on eremenko coming {Ed010's Note - Nothing heard and to be honest, I wouldn't expect anything at this moment in time. Ally and his management team are still in the USA and not due to return until friday. Any deals with players who are out of contract or soon to be out of contract will want to speak to Ally and vice versa. In the case of Eremenko, if he is a Rangers target and wants to sign, nothing can be revealed until the start of the transfer window on July 1st.

Also heard about jimmy Bullard at ibrox. Any strength to that ed? {Ed010's Note - To my knowledge, nothing in this one. What everyone has to realise is that at the moment, Ally and his management team are in the US. They left on Monday for 5 days, so I don't think that players would be arriving without Ally there to talk to them.

Mcgregor set to sign a 4 year deal on 22k a week, with a release clause of 15 million. Ed have you heard anythin on this?

{Ed010's Note - Heard nothing but if true would be good news. You have to take in to account that football clubs and players agents, never reveal the financial specifics of any deal. Until Allan McGregor actually puts pen to paper, the length of contact will be mere supposition on our part and his wages will never be revealed.

ed u got anything on owen to rangers mate? cheers {Ed010's Note - It has been reported down south that Everton, Sunderland and Leicester City have all intimated that they are all interested in signing him. Honestly don't think our budget would stretch that far if and when he becomes available. What do you think ?

i think your right mate but it would be good if it happend! cheers ed

If Owen would consider coming to scotland and rangers could afford his wages don't you think that rangers would be a more attractive option as what chance would Owen have of playing in the CL with Everton, Sunderland or Leicester City at least he would play in next seasons CL and hopefuly many more to come (What do you think Ed)

{Ed010's Note - I would agree that the opportunity to play CL football would be a huge carrot to dangle but equally, if Michael Owen still harbours hopes of playing for England, he would probably decide to stay in the EPL.

I don't think he will come to scotland ed but i don't think he is good enough to play for England i also don't think he is good enough for the English top 4 but he could do a job up here in the spl considering the quality of defence is very poor just look at the amount of goals us and Celtic have scored .
