19 Apr 2021 12:37:10
20/ 1 8th best in betting. Rodgers a more likely candidate IMO.

Theglasgowranger

I don’t think it will happen but never look at the betting for these things as betting companies fix the odds all the time to try and get mugs to bet on it.

It’s one thing I have never had a bet on.

19 Apr 2021 16:02:12
Ive seen loads on this on Twitter, most likely scenario is that the managerial merry-go-round starts up down south, Rodgers to Spurs being the start. Few of 'them' now worried that Eddie Howe will get caught up on the merry-go-round and end up somewhere else!

19 Apr 2021 16:18:44
I don’t take the odds as gospel like you said bookies wouldn’t have a betting market open if it didn’t expect to make money.
I use it as indication on who is the running and usually see it as a good sign if certain managers are outsiders as if sny1 knows anything the odds tend to get slashed on those guys.
Just because some1 is short price doesn’t always mean they are about to be unveiled as manager but it normally suggests that the person is in the running I. e. Eddie Howe been near front of market for that mob for months and now it’s confirmed there has been talks taken place.

19 Apr 2021 16:30:38
TGR robin van Persie went into odds on fav to sign for us at one point the bookies make up fake gambles to get money off of punters in these sort of markets they know as much as anyone else not much at all.

19 Apr 2021 16:44:23
I don’t think Rodgers would leave Leicester for Spurs anyway. Does anyone? He’s got a better team better support from owners and fans and to me Leicester are a club going place under Rodgers. He would prob leave for Chelsea Man Utd Man City but not Spurs, IMO of course.

19 Apr 2021 17:24:30
You are the master of them after all.

19 Apr 2021 18:27:47
I think he would leave Leicester for Spurs. With the likes of Vardy coming to tail end of career and him thinking he’s took them as far as he can and the real possibility they could blow Champions league place again this season he would jump ship while his stock is high.
Spurs have decent squad similar to Leicester’s and with a few good signings could compete with top 4 again.

19 Apr 2021 19:03:41
This is what Eddie Howe has been waiting for while dangling the celtic from a line - the end of season sacking-go-round. One more manager gets sacked (Steve Bruce? ) and the resulting jostling and movement could be real fun. Howe will come out of it, maybe not with a top job, but at somewhere like Brighton, Palace (will Hodgson make another season at 73?), Villa, Wolves etc. Interesting, and I also think the other mob will appoint someone like Favre (experienced) or Maresca (potential) .

How rude Tom 🤣 this u in a huff again pal? Don’t think I’ve been on for a few weeks been busy working and low and behold one post in and Tom has a sarcastic/ cheeky comment to post. seems to me Tom u always have a wee battle going on with someone on here normally a few people at a time actually.
Maybe u shouldn’t so cheeky with your opinions and comment pal and u wouldn’t get out in your place from time to time.
Just a thought for u 👍🏼.

19 Apr 2021 22:22:22
Same all the time Gerrard, nobody is allowed to question anything he says tho, but he can nip away at everyone on here to his hearts content, just makes me laugh now tbh.

20 Apr 2021 08:24:29
Agree I couldn’t see him leaving Leicester for Spurs but you never know.

20 Apr 2021 09:13:32
Rodgers would 100% leave Leicester for Spurs. The ESL is is Rodgers to a tee. Its all about him. Loves prestige.

20 Apr 2021 10:04:11
This patter is getting really boring.

20 Apr 2021 12:32:32
then change it negri.

Hagi's old man is apparently seething at his son's lack of game time and that he took no part in the Celtic match, and if he has his way his boy will be on the move - again. He has supposedly approached representatives of Red Bull asking if they can do anything with one of the teams they sponsor (control) .
His dad seems to have an unhealthy influence over the lad's career. He gave him his senior debut, made him captain of the team he was managing at the time when Ianis was just 16 and he is always lurking in the background. A rumour, but it does come from Romania.

19 Apr 2021 06:59:25
Said it long ago, and il stand by it, the boy will go through many clubs in Europe, never settle or hold a position down, it will be about money,

He’s that type of player, never ever worth what some here seem to believe, mainly based on about 10 great passes.

19 Apr 2021 09:50:40
Agree tt don't think he's anywhere as good as some believe.

19 Apr 2021 10:32:18
And yet Hagi stepped up and delivered goals and assists when others were playing poorly.

19 Apr 2021 10:57:44
Tom I think you’re right however I would say I think hagi has a decent football brain and has obviously worked hard developing his skills and has a good work ethic. I just don’t think we play a system that suits him. I think he needs to be in the middle linking midfield and striker type of player. I do believe he will finish his career much traveled.

19 Apr 2021 12:59:17
TT
10 MORE GREAT PASSES THAN ARFIELD.

19 Apr 2021 13:46:43
That’s true deeb.

19 Apr 2021 16:30:19
Think your being a little harsh on hagi TT. Don't think many on here claim he's a world beater but he's a good season.
He's played 40 games so far this season, 7 goals, 12 assists.

19 Apr 2021 16:46:41
I like Hagi great wee player at our level, can only improve and make us money same as Kent in that he’s been inconsistent and lightweight since he arrived but will improve have a belter of a season next season and move on for a decent wage for us.

19 Apr 2021 17:30:02
Stepped up? .

It’s what he is paid for, stepped up indeed, amazing what my name can conjure, he’s playing for Rangers on very big money, he can’t get a game, he’s expected to “ step up”

Do you think Rangers pay him for nothing?

Deep, who said a word about airfield?

kJ, have a lie down warrior.

19 Apr 2021 17:49:39
😂 tom.

19 Apr 2021 18:06:37
Hagi has talent that's clear to see but what the boy needs is a few seasons at the same club where he could settle in and develop. Unfortunately I think his father's influence will destroy his career. Moving for financial not footballing reasons. I think give jim couple years with us he will be a top attacking talent.

19 Apr 2021 20:47:45
What do the stats say about Hagi this season?

Hopeless or maybe integral to our goals against certain types of opposition?

Different opponents need a different approach.

20 Apr 2021 08:15:30
Hagis 21 don't forget. he has most certainly played his part since he's came to gers. Remember braga for 1. if Paterson has couple bad games we gona sell him too.

20 Apr 2021 10:18:32
Hagi is good for us, but certain games don't suit certain players. If we played a 4-2-3-1 i'd see Hagi getting more games in the No10 but in big games when we go for 3 sitting in the middle he will always be sacrificed because wide right of the forward 3 doesn't suit him (or another way of looking at it is that Aribo is a better option out there) . Gerrard got his tactics spot on against Celtic. Aribo was excellent in the forward right role and Arfield gave more bite in with Davo and Kamara in the middle.

20 Apr 2021 13:31:37
I didn’t say sell him did I?

I said he will get through plenty of clubs because he’s that type of player

20 Apr 2021 14:20:20
I think hagi will still be here next season, he will progress and play a bigger part for us, remember the likelihood is that Kent will be going to Leeds for £15+M so hagi could take his place with another young promising player coming in to challenge him.
I do see him moving the following summer probably to Italy for decent money. I then think he’ll end up in Spain after that. He’s a technically very gifted player with a great brain and good numbers many clubs would be interested in him when he finds his top form.
