Just heard from a source at goodison that possible transfer for yobo to go to ibrox is imminent. he says this is dependant on bougherra goin out to another english premier team. didn't know who though.

Just heard that WS is discussion with SAF at Man Utd for midfielder, Darron Gibson, ROI international to come on loan to the Gers for 1 year.

Also Vignal (Birmingham) and / or Bouma (Aston Villa) have been offered to the Gers. Defensive cover as both have been released by their respective clubs. FACT

Robertson, Goodwillie and Conway are also being looked at although only Robertson is interesting Gers at the moment due to Jelavic's impending transfer and the completion of Weiss.

Weiss In Glasgow today and will sign this afternoon. Could be in the squad for Sundays game with Hibs.

Rapid Vienna have realeased a statement saying Jelavic no longer wants to play for the club and he can go.

Welcome will not be offered a deal at Rangers and Barazite will be given one more chance to impress.

According to the Rapid Vienna Website, (translated using Alta Vista)

Jelavic reported this morning and again refused to play in tonights match Vs Aston Villa.

The club have issued a statement to Sky Sports news saying the player is travelling to Glasgow today and will sign tonight.

Weiss spotted at Ibrox already, looks almost done.

Welcome did score a hat-trick but needs to be seen if he done enough to secure a deal, seems his touch isn't up to much although he has a keen eye for goal.

The rumours regarding Eagles and Hutton are nonsense, Eagles refused the offer and rangers would not increase on this.

Hutton's wages are just far too high, unless of course he is omitted from the 25 man squad, in which case they may just be happy for the bears to pay 50% to at least get some of his wages off the bill.

Also heard a rumour that Kenny Miller may be on his way out of the gers, he was offered a deal the same night as Lee McCulloch and refused. As a result, and as rangers can't afford to lose him for nothing, his agent was advised to find him a new club.(although I hope my source is wrong on this one)

With my Standard grade German, i can confirm that they are pretty much saying he will no longer play for Rapid Vienna and they don't want somebody who doesn't want to play for the club anymore as it lets the whole club down.

He will be at Rangers, unless somebody out-bid us?

Also heard we are looking at Stephen Craigan to replace big Boogie who is deffo off.

The ship steadies.
Jelavic should sign for us, but whether it's before or after Rapid take on Villa, who knows? I've watched him on youtube, and the boy can score.
He gets goals out of nothing, too. If he does well, playing against the lower teams in SPL and finishes with loads of goals,
he may get his dream move to the EPL.


Barazite should also sign, and not only because the lad's got talent.
If Rangers send him back to Arsenal, what chance have we got of getting another promising youngster on loan from a high level EPL team?

Welcome might just be a bargain, and the verdict is out on Kerkar and Esajas.

I really doubt rumours of Hutton coming back, as his wages would be too high.

The Benalouane saga has gone quiet, so maybe-maybe not, but the Vlad Weiss story is very interesting. Mancini has him tied into a long-term contract, but the pressure is
on to win something this year, hence the spend, spend spend attitude. Reportedly, Weiss is available to a team who will be in the Champion's League group stage
which rules out that outfit from the east end of Glasgow. I've heard there has been contact between the two clubs, and it looks favourable.

Not heard anything about Wemberg for a while. That lad looked promising too.

If Ally did make the trip to the USA to check out a couple of players recommended by Edu, then the news should be coming in soon about their futures. I think a lot of
these moves depend on Jelavic. There's no doubt Mo Edu has blossomed at Rangers, and the lad has a good football mind. If he recommended someone, I would
have a look at them too.

I think Sandaza would be a worthwhile signing, what with out midfield (read:Davis) being the playmaker he is. He would cost less than Goodwillie. Goodwillie however,
would be a strong signing and one that may come about.

Strong rumours about Eagles being back in the picture. A pal in Accrington tells me Burnley are looking for a replacement for him. Word on the street is he's
going to Glasgow. .yes, us.

Either Vladimir Weiss or Nikica Jelavic are the favourites to make an appearance at Murray Park tomorrow, or who knows maybe both?
