I see Rangers are considering offering Wales Murray Park. I'm a Rangers fan and Scotland fan. I for one will be very unhappy at this if this is true. We are Scottish and no matter what the situation is we shouldn't be helping out teams who we are playing. This is a time as a nation were we should be getting behind our country. I for one will be getting behind my counrty and Strachan.

I actually thought this was a bit of mischief but it appears to be true, one thing winding up us tic fans with juve but this is a new low. Surely you bears aren't happy with this?

Agree2 Disagree3

Dont give a damn who uses murry park as long as they are paying for the use

lochaber bear

Agree8 Disagree4

Its just money. making use of assets to make money

Agree1 Disagree1

Whats the matter with you people? We are offering a hand of hospitality and friendship to visitors to our country are you saying that the hotel owners the put our competitors up are unpatriotic? These teams have to train somewhere and I for one am proud that we are showing true sportsmanship. Should everyone in Scotland shun the welsh when they come here or welcome them with open arms?

I thought it was now Auchinhowie & not Murray Park!

Agree0 Disagree1

Well said Lochaber bear Scotland are not going to qualify that's a given hardly think Wales using Murray park will be the last nail in the Coffin. Maybe it's just to convince Gareth Bale north of the border to sign up for the mighty Bears £50 million transfer fee 10k a week wages to be reduced down to 5k after 6 months just to upset all the timmys & they can tell us how disloyal we are but in the same breath tell us we have the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland!

Agree2 Disagree1

Grow up, should we insist they train in England, don't be stupid. They are going to train somewhere why not Murray Park.

Agree2 Disagree1

After all that's been said about us by fellow countrymen. **** the Scottish National Team. Hope they finish bottom of the group hence making it even harder to qualify for the finals of World Cup/Euros and at the same keeping the income of Regan's SFA as low as possible.

Agree3 Disagree3

Its there to be used for anyone, even if celtic feel they want a better quality training ground let them have it as long as they all make income for gers doug t. s. o

Rangers are a business hiring out Murray Park for profit, not to score points off other teams or be anti Scottish.

Agree1 Disagree1

Saw an article recently about where all Rangers opponents in the UEFA cup run trained - funnily enough, several of our SPL opponents at the time were involved. I won't be losing much sleep over it TBH, any side would want to use the best training facilities in the country, which is Murray Park. Just the Daily Record attempting mock-outrage again, as with the Juventus story. Why anybody with an IQ above 15, would read or believe anything in that rag is a mystery to me. Pete

Agree0 Disagree2

Who cares as long as they are paying for it.

Agree2 Disagree2

@Pete: many of your fellow fans do and believe everything in it.

YOU must've read it Pete or you wouldn't know what was in it! Or are you going to give us somebody told me or I seen it in the shop nonsense?

Agree1 Disagree0

Just cause were letting them use training stuff dosent mean were doing them any favours,

Agree0 Disagree1

Who honestly cares where Wales train? Will it effect the result? NO!. Juventus trained at Celtic Park too, does that mean that Celtic helped Juventus?. Dafties the lot of you

Agree1 Disagree1

As an aside, where do you think that ROI would train if they had a match against us at Hampden?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip everyone Wales or who ever is playing a European or international game here is going to want to use the best possible training grounds and that is Murray Park Scotland aren't using it so why shouldn't Wales use it?

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes, but you gladly opened your doors to Juve! Double standards here. Does it really matter, either as good business or good hospitality

not many comments yet on the fan meeting last sat night. I guess everybody happy.

1. Stadium to be renamed
2. Academy in Florida or California
3. Tie up with some Aussie Club
4. Major USA pre-season tour with matches against LA Galaxy and x, why z
5. The BIG 0ne - kit and sponsor within 10 days (again)

is everybody still with this guy!

Believable25 Unbelievable56

Point 1# Heard this for some months now
2# To join the Australian one?
3# Already had that knocked on the head by one team
4# No venues or teams announced since it came to light weeks ago
5# This announcement is already around three weeks overdue.
Do any of these fans ask any questions at these meetings? Mr Green has delivered nothing yet, IPO apart, but promises and ridiculous numbers.

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm not sure the current chairman is. Greens and embarrassment to the club, this offering Wales training facilities is a joke.

Agree1 Disagree3

Were recordings allowed or banned?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm going to have a punt and say recordings were banned on this one. I'm going to save my lifelines for a more difficult question.

Looks like someone may be walking away?

Charles Green vrs Malcolm Murray

I'd prefer to see the back of Green, following Whyte out the door.

my "spider-sense" is buzzing all is not right at the club once again.

Mr Green does seems fond of making a statement or ten but how many actually get followed up on.

The season ticket sales was a masterstroke, as was the share issue, although his investors what to see some quick returns on their investment unlike the fans who only care if the team wins the next game.

at the meeting was also discussed opening a rangers shop at Glasgow Airport and in Belfast (Ann St), let's see some action rather than bluster.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive got a feeling that Murray is more than a little concerned at Greens outrages promices and hence the disagreement.

Agree3 Disagree0

I am fully behind Charles Green, as all real Rangers fans should be. Stop believing the guff you read in the red-tops and go to a game. Pete

Agree1 Disagree2

Were you fully behind Whyte as well Pete? By the way I go to ALL games not just a game!

Agree1 Disagree0

Pete we will see
Tam

Agree0 Disagree0

Pete - so you're saying Malcolm Murray then isn't a real Rangers fan?

Because I know for a fact he's been going to Ibrox since the 1960s.

Green's first time at Ibrox?

2012.

Get real.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Whyte do something the same thing get rid of those who might alert the fans to what's happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

CG is your average snake oil salesman, he will say anything to keep the balls he is juggling in the air. The trouble is you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. I very much doubt he will be still here in 2 years time, hopefully Rangers will be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Talk sport sounded firmly in the Murray camp this morning.

reading between the lines. all is not replace new inbox

Agree0 Disagree0

Just my guess but Malcolm Murray has played a blinder here.

Green claiming he won't stay on at Ibrox if Murray remains as chairman and Murray calling his bluff, probably backed by Walter Smith.

Another guess - Green and Traynor won't be at Ibrox this time next year. Malcolm Murray will be.
