Alan Hutton coming back to rangers am from Kilmarnock heard this from 1 of his wife's family who is from hulford passing on the message.

20 May 2018 00:18:55
Signed a new deal with villa šŸ¤Ø

20 May 2018 00:19:36
No chance and no thanks, he's getting another contract at villa anyhow!

20 May 2018 01:40:32
Rite lads was at pub the nyt goat talking to a guy about Steven Gerrard and the rangers and he told me carragher was coming to rangers as a coach now av not see or heard
Anything can anybody confirm this or is this just two drunks talking rubbish to each other thanks lads and good nyt

20 May 2018 06:50:54
Hutton is liked by the manager and owner and his praises have been sung by both. No chance he will come

20 May 2018 08:07:45
Hutton has been offered new contract but not signed it yet but Villa fully expect him to.

20 May 2018 09:59:59
Wouldnā€™t want him anyway, we need experience yes, but not Hutton, is he not like 34?

20 May 2018 10:15:46
Can't wait for this season ahead hate it when the season ends it's a good time to ge a gers fan

20 May 2018 13:02:53
Utter guff ryanand123

20 May 2018 15:56:08
Alan Hutton? Your from Killie? Well I'm from Hurlford and believe me if Hutton had family in a 3000 population village we'd know about it. Absolute garbage.

21 May 2018 02:05:51
I think Hutton deal could hinder on winning play off. Heā€™s been offered but yet to sign new deal and has been impressive this season at Villa at top end of championship. Heā€™s ideal competition for Tav at RB with Hodgson more than likely moving on.

21 May 2018 14:07:03
Ed, you should ban people linking Alan Hutton returning to Rangers - it happens every year on here (still! ), and he is still rubbish, and he's a year older and it's never, ever, ever, going to happen. We struck gold when we sold that donkey for Ā£9 million after one good season. What an embarrassing rumour - hang your head in shame, whoever posted this guff.

19 May 2018 23:15:54
Gerrard looking to bring Harry Wilson in on loan from Liverpool. My worry is we continue a policy of signing players well past their sell by date and loan signings therefore no sellable assets generated in order to move the club to the next level. It's definately a worry!

20 May 2018 00:50:53
Gerrard has not identified any targets!

20 May 2018 09:06:19
M8 are u fulla barry white or what. he's identified solanke, skrtl, wilson, goldson, defoe, lucas if he wasnt our manager none if them would even be on our radar behave yerself

20 May 2018 10:52:35
As long as some signings are fairly young and not loans as wee want to build a teams for seasons to come and maybe get to a stage where only 2 or 3 players need to be brought in at summer

20 May 2018 11:02:15
There is nothing to worry about Ronnie. If bringing in a loan player increases the quality of the team, then that is only a good thing.

Theyā€™ve done it with Eduard and Roberts etc. Taking a loan player from one of the top clubs in the world rarely fails. Thereā€™s a reason these young players are at Liverpool, Man City, PSG etc.

Even look at the boy Hibs took on loan from Man City? Barkley is it? The boys easily their best player this season.

20 May 2018 11:04:05
Sorry, his names Brandon Barker. Mixing his name up with the midfield player they havešŸ˜‚. But aye heā€™s been quality for them!

20 May 2018 15:03:20
Barker is a player with loads of potential and is currently back at Man City after his loan spell at Hibs.
Difficult for any young player to break into the first team at City so you would expect him to be loaned out again.

20 May 2018 19:50:21
RonnieR9, If you look at my post before Gerrard even took the job you will see I said Gerrard, McAllistar, and yes, Harry White, I also stated that Graham Souness was advising SG and trust me this is the case, GS only advising re: the Scottish game and what is and what SG can expect, and the type of player that will adapt to the Scottish style of faster play. I would also like to add that Harry Wilson would be a perfect fit at Rangers and would more than do the business for us, take a look at his stats just for last season alone, don't worry too much about a few loans, that's football nowadays and there is a good reason that their parent clubs took them in the first place. All I am saying is upward and onward to 55.

19 May 2018 20:49:29
Some fans want Skrtel and Defoe well over the age of 30 and mid 30s, others sell on players to make a bit of money. The former may make us competitive for a year and the latter will win us nothing. Gerrard must find a balance of age but must look beyond next season. Neither argument is a winning formula for Rangers fans who like it or not, are in it for life and not a 3 year contract.

19 May 2018 22:26:58
Guys we can all slate the prospect of signing older guys all we want, if they are good enough I donā€™t care! What would you rather have, good experienced pros in at Ā£2m a pop and stop 10 in a row., or sign young guys to sell on later who take time to develop and risk them staying well in front! I know what Iā€™d be doing. BACK THE TEAM!

20 May 2018 00:40:50
Winning the league gets you a crack at champions league football. Which is 20 million. Better than any player we could sell. Winning the league is more important right now. The chance to blood youngsters was when we got relegated to the bottom tier. I am all for young players but right now winning is more important

20 May 2018 07:36:49
Those young players we had in the bottom tier apart from Macleod and McKay were brutal.

20 May 2018 08:32:30
There are good younger players too you know. Celtic seem to keep unearthing them. We have to see return on investment at some stage soon.

20 May 2018 11:04:28
We are on about bringing in good players to make a return on, Not guys running down their careers, how hard is that to understand? We are being left behind by Celtic and look like making the same mistakes all over again.

20 May 2018 11:14:44
True about the young players not being great but neither were the guys we signed, cribari, moshni, peralta (rest his soul), Ian black to name a few were all terrible. Our youth set was pretty much non existent back then which was bad business. Coulda save a lot of money and maybe unearthed a gem or 2

20 May 2018 11:34:10
Bringing in Defoe, sorted and Lucas would be great bits of business. 1 experienced 2 high quality pros. I know there sell on values are zero but having them teach Morelos cummings mcrorie rossiter and our up and coming cb's would make them all better players and that's where the sell on values would be made. Add Stevie G to the mix and we will be attracting a higher quality of youngsters also

19 May 2018 17:05:26
Skrtel deal agreed Ā£2.5m.

19 May 2018 18:09:57
Itā€™s looking likely with him not starting today

19 May 2018 18:28:47
He was suspended . so that means nothing. But I think it will be confirmed next week.

19 May 2018 14:26:43
Any "rumour" update on Moult and Jack Marriot.

19 May 2018 15:57:45
I donā€™t think we will go for Moult as we r in talks to sign Cummings and if the rumours regarding Defoe n McBurnie r true, but if we could add Marriott to the trio it would give us plenty of options upfront

19 May 2018 17:54:29
Here's the latest on Moult - he'll never be good enough to play for Rangers, and neither will Jack Marriott. Raise your standard of pointless rumours, please.

19 May 2018 18:08:38
Why donā€™t you crawl back down your hole Burnyerbank, Marriot would be ā€œgood enoughā€ for EPL teams rather than SPL. Rumours are generally pointless hence the ā€œā€ inverted comma or was that a bit too much fur yer schooling bud. This is a rumour site not fact of the day

19 May 2018 18:47:10
"Raise your standard of rumour"? It's a rumour there are no standards. Marriott is an excellent player and would romp this league.

20 May 2018 14:53:28
Jack Marriott from league one no thanks need loads better and anyway mark Allen has said there looking for players playing in top divisions not players from lower leagues so why are we still talking about him.

19 May 2018 14:06:45
I'm led to believe we have made an enquiry for a lad called James Justin from Luton, who is being chased by both Brighton and Leeds. Seemingly he can play both full back positions and is only 19 or 20. Problem could be that Luton have already knocked back a Ā£1m bid from Forest.

19 May 2018 13:37:17
Looks like my favourite player Morelos and his equally brilliant strike partner Herrera aren't fancied by Gerrard. Both will thankfully be sold In the summer!

19 May 2018 13:43:27
Why do you think that Ronnie?

19 May 2018 14:07:19
Stevie tell you that, did he?

19 May 2018 14:15:59
rumored by the daily rag, that morelos is a Loan target for besiktas in turkey and and Chaves want to bring back Herrera.

19 May 2018 14:20:37
Apparently a few clubs are looking at Morelos including besiktas and Herrera is back in Mexico! Nothing personal I just have never rated Morelos, his attitude is poor, constantly getting caught offside, never looks up for a pass and his finishing is extremely bad!

19 May 2018 14:25:31
No loans. get them sold rather than loans. letā€™s free up some wages

19 May 2018 14:29:32
Paper talk nothing in it

19 May 2018 14:44:56
no burnbank itā€™s a rumour page! Grow up

19 May 2018 15:37:24
Media speculation but Herrera is possibly linked with Chivas either as a loan option or for a modest transfer fee.
Morelos is apparently linked to Besiktas but only on loan.

19 May 2018 15:53:28
Mexican papers saying Herrera is back home to get a club good luck to him he just never fitted in, hopefully we will get a few quid for Morelos

19 May 2018 15:54:45
There's no way Morelos will be going on loan, he's a saleable asset and if the manager doesn't fancy him then he will be sold, but I don't think Gerrard is that stupid he will know that the lad is young and raw and with some coaching he will become better and therefore worth more to the club,

19 May 2018 20:18:21
Stop kidding your self on agnroxi Morelos is c##p and will not be missed

19 May 2018 23:59:46
And all the needless bookings only leads to suspensions and morelos has had his fair few spode it's his style of play but some are other fling I not with elbows etc.

21 May 2018 02:06:55
I have mixed feeling on El Buffalo. 1st of all its his 1st season in this league, heā€™s clubs top goal scorer and has showed some good ability at times with his strength and desire. His lack of composure is something that will improve but when and how much?

If we can get proper money Ā£4m upwards with sell on etc then Iā€™d be tempted to cash in to help fund Cummings and either Solanke or Defoe and even possibly Lafferty deals.
If itā€™s loan to buy then bolt thereā€™s no benefit for us short term and if itā€™s only a few million it may be worth persevering until next window at least

19 May 2018 08:56:11
Hearing that skirtel is a done deal not for the reported amount in the media but around the 3 million mark and Defoe will be next also Thomas isherwood will sign aswel and will flourish alongside skirtel . Next year is looking good already.

19 May 2018 10:01:34
Great if we get they signings, but if Thomas Isherwood sings he wonā€™t be a first choice cb, be will be be back up to the 2 new centre back we sign

19 May 2018 10:10:03
He is very good just wasn't good enough for Munich at this time a mean they must of seen something to take him in the first place . He has impressed all since he has been training with us and will walk straight into our team . Just passing on what a have been told from someone that gets a lot of good info from someone close to one of current players

19 May 2018 10:10:26
Approx 2.5m, deal is done. Will join once the window opens, subject to medical.

19 May 2018 10:24:42
On Skrtl I have been following the Turkish press (may be as bad as ours) They posted about 2 or 3 days before our rags picked up on it that we had made enquiries. They then said Ferna liked the idea but no final decision could be made till the new president takes over on June 3rd. Today the are quoting a figure of 4.5m hope that's Turkish lira lol.

19 May 2018 10:25:01
I agree he is a good player, but will rangers rangers give a inexperienced player first team football everyweek when desperate to stop celtic, I just thought he would be more there to cover and fight for a place and if he deserved it yes get him playing

19 May 2018 10:53:14
Fenerbache can think again If they think we're about to given them anywhere near 4m for Martin Skrtel I'd rather that money went on Kyle Bartley and he even isn't worth that and is a concern with the sustained injuries

Your looking at getting both Skrtel and Bartley at a combined transfer of around 4m then your talking wages

Skrtel - A two year deal Will be on a pretty penny, probably looking at paying him his pension of 30k a week

Bartley - A four year deal at around 20k a week

19 May 2018 14:21:35
Bartley never worth 20k a week. But Skrtel is worth every penny of 30k

19 May 2018 16:00:19
I keep seeing some fans refer to certain players coming to rangers for their pension, but get real guys players like Skrtel and Defoe have made their money, they probably have more in the bank than they could ever spend, so if they do come I don't think it will be for the money,

19 May 2018 03:25:05
Lads, said on here before regarding Peter Crouch being looked at.

Mark Allen had lunch with Steven Kabba and another gent from Stellar football in London last night. It could be Crouch related or maybe they were discussing the royal wedding.

Also the club are waiting to get a national or global name on the books before launching the new kit hence why there hasnā€™t been a release date yet.

Believe what you want just passing the info along. Cheers.

19 May 2018 06:10:57
Also if rumours of Defoe are true, maybe Gerrard could recreate the little and large partnership that done so well at Spurs.

19 May 2018 06:34:14
Kit deal is a contractual issue. Can't release it until this one expires, which I believe isn't until July time. Nothing we can do about it.

19 May 2018 06:48:21
Heres one for you and I hate passing on info this early on as I can't double check or at least hear from a second source but I've heard that the Defoe info is good but they want to make Andy Caroll the big signing.

19 May 2018 07:04:15
Andy sicknote Carrol are you for reals? The lad has seen more injuries than the Royal

19 May 2018 09:43:53
Andy Carroll - no chance he is on massive money - get real

19 May 2018 10:03:08
If it was last night he met with them would it not have been dinner, sounds like u have just made this up!

19 May 2018 10:04:25
Defoe is on 135k a week, likely even more than Carroll

19 May 2018 14:22:56
Defoe is not and has at no point in his career been on 135k

19 May 2018 14:30:15
The Campbell, you're miles out, Defoe is actually on just about half the figure you quote and even at Ā£67k a week it's more than double what we would pay.

19 May 2018 00:57:28
I honestly think wee Cummings would be a great signing, he didn't get any sort of run in the team since he signed. We need lads that have got heart and know what it takes to be a gers player, shagger signing again is an absolute superb bit of business.
SG will be well informed and well advised about what we need. He is not up here to fail, trust me.

19 May 2018 07:42:53
For about the 500k mark as well it really does seem like a no brainer.

19 May 2018 08:51:59
Decent squad player. If it's only Ā£500k then it could well turn out to be a good bit of business. First post on here. šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

19 May 2018 00:26:49
Hearing that Skrtel is in advanced talks with us and wages only hurdle to talk through. Will be paraded next week.

19 May 2018 03:26:18
Usually very sceptical of bring players coming towards the end of their careers but I think MS still has a lot to offer. Would be a step up for sure.

19 May 2018 09:15:42
Poseidon ---- agree 100% -- cast your mind back to 2007 when Davie Weir joined us at the ripe old age of 37 and eventually played until 2012 aged 42.
MS at 33 (I think) has certainly a lot to offer especially if you remember how Danny Wilson developed at that time

19 May 2018 10:11:17
agree on skrtel bears. his aggression and desire to get a tackle in and header anything whenever i watched him showed he was a proper old school cntr half - exactly what we need

at 33 approaching end of his career but by no means finished - this could be some signing

kyle bartley not so much. bit bemused by some fans on here wanting him back - theyā€™ve got short memories he was bang average and we got cuffed a good few times with him at cntr half and we have better def mids than him so

bartlety no
skertel defo
