Whoever ends up at Everton will need at least £300 million if they are to have any chance of success and will need to empty the squad of the jokers that have been signed at exhorbeftent fees by previous managers. No wonder they have lost their current manager to Real Madrid. Sadly they look like they will continue to play second fiddle to Liverpool for years to come. I would be amazed if Gerrard risked his credibility going to Goodison when His future is surely at Annfield, (just hopefully not for a few years yet)!

But his loyalty lies with liverpool
