Just read an article on news now that we are looking to buy hagi and sell straight away to double our money selling him for 9 million with Real Madrid being mentioned as admirers. If this lad is in fact fancied by Madrid why would we sell. I would keep him for season or 2 let him grow and cash in on top money instead of 9 million.

20 Apr 2020 16:46:14
Remember coop saying similar before and I still have the same question now as I did then. If real want him why wouldn't he go straight there? We only have first option, he can easily enough refuse us and go to Madrid straight away? Or am I missing something?

20 Apr 2020 17:37:34
He's not worth 4 million, hope he goes to real Madrid he'll never play a game for them.

20 Apr 2020 18:17:57
Snell, Rumoured that Rangers have a clause if they pay £4.5m he is their player. It’s good business if they have. Hagi and his representatives shouldn’t have signed up to it if he wasn’t interested in it. Now if he is not wanting to come to us now then the se sinks thing for all parties is to complete the deal and then sell him, especially if you are going to get more than what you’ve paid for him. Suits all parties concerned.

20 Apr 2020 19:21:59
He’s not worth £4million and let’s get serious, Real Madrid is not an option for him. He would never be a regular starter especially away from home for us🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

20 Apr 2020 19:51:07
Snell rangers has an exclusive option. Personally think the Madrid rumour is paper talk but more getting at would we buy him to sell straight away for big profit or buy him to play for us.

20 Apr 2020 20:55:58
This post has to be the worst I've seen on here in ages what football club would do a deal like that aye here you go mate but Hagi on Monday 5 million sell tues 10million.

20 Apr 2020 20:56:01
If Kent was worth £7 million hagi definitely worth 4.5 million.

21 Apr 2020 09:34:57
Real Madrid are not interested in Hagi first of all. They certainly aren't going to look at his stats from his time with us and spend 9 million on him. Averaging a goal every 4 games and an assist every 6, poor return for a player who certainly has tonnes of ability.

Second we have the exclusive right meaning we pay 4.5 million and Genk have to accept it, almost like a release clause. That doesn't mean Hagi is forced to come to us, he could still reject the contract offer should there ever be one.

21 Apr 2020 11:23:51
I don't think hagi is overpriced, the little I've seen of him he looks a handful, if we buy him and sell on straight away for double i would be disappointed to lose his services, we have to trust the suits upstairs to get on with the business of rangers and returning us to the summit of Scottish football, let's go.

21 Apr 2020 11:39:39
If we were to buy hagi with the intention of selling him then surely we would want the option of loaning him back to us, there is a wee glimmer that he could be great but he’s not there yet, if it was Madrid that wanted him, he would likely be in there reserved for years before getting near the team.

21 Apr 2020 18:45:39
I think coldo is back sweeping.

21 Apr 2020 19:00:10
It’s being reported that your club is poised to sign Hagi. Surely you all don’t fall for this? The transfer window doesn’t officially open until June 10th.

21 Apr 2020 19:03:50
Do u want a chips and a drink with that whopper.

21 Apr 2020 19:45:44
Bino bear take domestic games out the equation and just look at the European games he looked decent. I don't think he will go to Madrid personally.
No wonder people stop posting rumours on here. Firstly this wasnt my rumour it was an article i read and thought it would make interesting discussion regarding buying him with sole view to sell him which is within rules. Me personally i would keep the lad get him used to the physical side of our league and i think he would make an outstanding no10 for us. The 4 million prior to this virus would be a good deal for us. The lad is the right age, has potential, is already an international at 21, has a profile in his country [face of pepsi i think], has played at decent sized team in Italy and with his father has a good mind behind him to advise him.

21 Apr 2020 20:40:52
He would struggle to make reals 2nd string. Are folk honestly believing madrid are in for him? Isolation must be getting to us.

21 Apr 2020 21:28:56
Like Kent in 2 to 3 years time we’ll make profit on him. He’s not proven a great deal yet especially domestically and would’ve struggled against Celtic this season if he had played against them unlike Kent who’s only problem is consistency against the lesser teams but Hagis definitely got great potential and is at a great age to learn. Needs to adapt to Scottish football and not expect a whole team and system just to change for him though but I think he has the right attributes to make it.

21 Apr 2020 21:33:15
Buzz bomb transfer window is irrelevant with that deal as the players paperwork is already logged with SFA. Would just be a matter of confirming the sale. Any player can be bought outside the window they just can't play for the buying club unless already on loan there.

22 Apr 2020 09:09:06
Stuart83, you shouldn't baffle poor old leon with facts, he does not like facts.
You just keep follow following the Famous Glasgow Rangers, leon .

22 Apr 2020 14:49:33
East Belfast 😂😂 🍔🍟🥤👍.

20 Apr 2020 11:48:19
Now in the press that Neil Doncaster told the Aberdeen chairman that no vote was needed, before the vote!

20 Apr 2020 12:58:54
I can't get my head round what is wrong here. It's like saying we are waiting for the western Isle result in a general election but can't tell anyone Boris has a majority of 80 seats. They had their 9 votes needed to pass. If they had only 8 votes and he told them they had the 9 I can see a problem.

20 Apr 2020 14:03:07
If you'd listened to the Inverness caley bloke speak on sportsound about what went on, it sounds well dodgy. It's all out there on the internet to find.
But at least you're posting something other than we're doomed, we need £10m, etc. 😉.

20 Apr 2020 15:21:15
Mr G not heard your take on that problem or has it just disappeared.

20 Apr 2020 15:31:56
You've been playing that same old tune for at least 3 seasons mull. Am just glad you've moved off the finances page😁 am sure you'll be back on them soon enough though😉.

20 Apr 2020 17:21:35
IOM, in your General Election analogy no election results can be announced until all votes in and the poll officially closed at 10pm on election night. Even exit polls, as opposed to voting results, cannot be communicated until 10pm on election night.

20 Apr 2020 18:25:03
. Cannot be announced.

20 Apr 2020 18:22:33
IOM, doubt anyone would phone Western Isles to tell them not to bother voting.

21 Apr 2020 18:46:54
so Mull conversations pre election close are ok under certain circumstances?

20 Apr 2020 10:37:53
Guys, we all know that in the past Celtic and ourselves have been dead against the kind of league reconstruction currently being mooted. Given it's highly unlikely that we'll change our stance and, bearing in mind eleven votes are needed for reconstruction to go through, could it be possible that 'Peter' may have sold his soul on the phone to ensure the last vote went through and to set the precedent to award them the title in the event the league can't be played to a finish? Why else would reconstruction be on the table? Any thoughts?

20 Apr 2020 11:44:16
They will change the voting structure in this instance I am sure.

20 Apr 2020 13:01:22
The 11-1 is not required if there's no change in the % of money you receive, its the 75% of all divisions.

20 Apr 2020 15:50:02
There is little doubt in my mind that reconstruction is on the table to appease Hearts in particular and Dundee United too and to ensure the unwashed are 'crowned' champions. How sad, pathetic and undignified is all this in the light of the current coronavirus crisis? It just sums up to me the morals of the dark side (which includes more than just the mhanks) .

20 Apr 2020 16:45:07
Reconstruction is only on the table cause the threat of the law suits. Such actions will delay the season restarting. I reckon if this is going to be forced on us that we should take advantage. As they have no regards for the rule book we agree to reconstruction on the basis that firstly it's done properly with agreement gave ok by sky to keep money for coverage and secondly that we get a colt team that can't compete in same league as first team. I know people will say but they have ruled against colt teams but they also have guidelines stating 2 years to implement league reconstruction and that will go through in time for next season do 5 months.

20 Apr 2020 19:19:41
Totally agree bellshill revolt team, if they want our vote colt team in.
Also it will give wee clubs a turn when we go to there ground along with Celtic, hibs hearts Aberdeen.

20 Apr 2020 20:05:02
All this crap could be sorted easily
Rangers should begin the process of joining English football as there is too much hatred and cheating in Scotland.

20 Apr 2020 23:58:30
John also gives fans in my position, can't afford season tickets with a young family, the chance to see the club I love. Also allow me to introduce my 5 year old to rangers.

21 Apr 2020 12:47:41
Bellshill u r 100% correct.

21 Apr 2020 18:47:38
so mull reconstruction won't change tv money?

21 Apr 2020 18:55:27
6.counties, great idea mate, we are hated because of the records we hold, let's try to get ourself out of this bugus football league, any other league that would except application should be considered, let these bar stwerds see how much we mean to them. let's try to get out.
