Would anyone else take Ian Murray? I would he's been there done it, played for Rangers so would fit in quickly and is captain material.

Believable37 Unbelievable61

The guy couldn't get a game for hibs last season & along with Kyle shouldn't be anywhere near ibrox. Skacel should be added for the next couple of seasons. Think he would be a good addition

Agree6 Disagree2

Captain birdseye material god sake we are trying to move frwd not back we need creativity not any more holding players we have black doing that and mcculoch can do that job so why would we sign another defensive minded player we are crying out for natural width no matter what league we are in

Agree2 Disagree0

Surely Murray Park is producing better than Ian Murray . I really thought the way forward would have been for your team to bring the youngsters through and sell them on . Then you see guys like Kevin Kyle (who basically was retired if you didnt sign him) get a deal . It must be gutting to be a 19/22 yr old at Ibrox .
CelticMatt

Agree2 Disagree3

Are rangers obsessed with the name Murray
It'll be Andy Murray next or Ruby Murry

Agree0 Disagree0

Last thing we need is a player with recurring tendonitis who could end up out for a season at any time, for me its a definite no.

Agree0 Disagree1

Celticmatt if it was that easy just to bring youngsters threw and still be competative do you not think every team in the world would be doing that.god barca have the best youth set up about but still have to buy players in!

Agree1 Disagree0

A good pro but I think we can do better. No point signing average over the hill players whilst a youngster could get that place.

Agree0 Disagree1

ABSOLUTELY NOT, why do people keep drawing these rotten has been players up and saying 'oh they might be good', Skacel i agree would be decent, but do we really need him? nah

Agree0 Disagree0

And celticmatt for whatever reason your posting on here, we had Jamie Ness, Rhys McCabe (who decided to leave), we have Ross Perry, Lewis McCleod, Barrie McKay, Kyle Hutton,Scott Gallagher, its going to be amazing to be a 19-22 year old at ibrox dont you worry!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take him to work with the rest of my donkeys on blackpool beach. shamrock

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers needed to sign players mate as they lost 20 odd guys, theres plenty of chance for young lads that show ability, i wouldnt be intrested in murray

Paul jewell wants edu at Ipswich hopefully he will go

Believable56 Unbelievable14

Jewel said Edu is a Jewel, but still uncut

Agree1 Disagree0

Anyone any idea of fee? 300k?

Agree0 Disagree0

Time for you to move on mo, cheers for the memoriea, no one will ever forget your last minute winner against them! Amazing

Agree3 Disagree0

Heard that stevenson could be part of the deal supposedly home sick.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashame if he goes to a nothing club like Ipswich he can do alot better, mccoist will be laughing at this 1, say you want to move from rangers and only ipswich want you! sure you dont want to change your mind maurice????

Agree1 Disagree0

I'll drive him down there

German Goalkeeper Rouven Sattelmaier is the latest to join the Ibrox club on trail.

Believable48 Unbelievable16

Don't know why people are clicking unbelievable. It's on the Official website.

Agree5 Disagree2

Totaly agree it aint rocket science to read our own clubs web site.

Agree1 Disagree2

Anythings better that alexander

Agree0 Disagree6

Shocking If true. Alexander is more than capable, and the young 2nd choice keeper ( 3rd last season obviously ) After being Gers for years through the youth training must feel like **** if he's not trusted for the 3rd.

Agree0 Disagree0

On a more positive note. That GK looks quite good+ ma mate says he is a quality oeeper, here's hoping he signs {Ed039's Note - Gallagher ever going to get a game for anybody?)

Agree0 Disagree0

Could this be Alexander getting sold on, get a fee for him and the german on less wages than Alexander ? no probs with Alexander a good keeper but maybe gettin paid wages than dont reflect the league we are in and the work-rate he will be called to do in a match.

Agree0 Disagree1

If u look at the website ally wants gallagher 2 go on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we seriously need to look at another keeper... if alexander that good why have we conceeded goals in EVERY game

Agree0 Disagree0

In an interview with McCoist a couple of weeks ago he said that ideally we would get another keeper in as back up to Alexander so Gallagher could go out on loan and get some experience. Ironically he'll prob end up playing at a higher level than 3rd Div! Ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Gal never gona play for us at any level

Agree0 Disagree0

Never heard of him. Are they just signing anybody who is foreign ? This is à load of crap to mug more season ticket money. Word from leeds is Fauré is top top sh1t.

Rangers to sign Stephen "cheeko" Jackson (right back), played against us yesterday for East Stirling. Solid display, Wallace had no joy down that side against him and his use of ball was good too. source; his family who stay in Denny, it the talk of the town.

Believable15 Unbelievable61

I'm from Denny and haven't heard this

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense mate, we have no need to sign a part time player from the worst team in the country

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye we offered east Stirlingshire broadfoot in a swap deal, they knocked it back though. Ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

More likelyntomsign chico marx me thinks

Agree0 Disagree0

I stay in Denny and it is certainly not the talk of the toon. Jackson is a centre half and only playing at RB due to injuries/players on hols.

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of signing michael jackson get real

Agree0 Disagree0

More likely to sign chico marx

Agree0 Disagree0

That makes a nice change...usually the talk of the town in Denny, whos shagging whos auntie

Can anyone say whether the investment that the chap from Nottingham was making actually happened?

Believable12 Unbelievable31

Mike ashley is runnong newcasltle not nottingham

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it didn't happen just another one of green's stories to keep the masses happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it didn't happen just another one of green's stories to keep the masses happy

-----------------------------------

Mate we do not need people like you on here, green has been superb for rangers more than any 'rangers men' done for the club, so go away with your negativity or get behind the club, and to the original poster, no i dont think it did buddy the investors that put money in were announced by green, i dont know who the other two billionaires (apart from mike ashley) were or whats happening with them

Agree5 Disagree1

We very much need people who will ask difficult questions. Murray took us in,Whyte took us in and Green has been a long way short of honest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well £8m in season book sales isnt going to last long with the running costs of rangers, need input of money pronto from somewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

Always ask for Clarity.

Rangers new Motto.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone thought Whyte would be 'superb for Rangers'...

Agree0 Disagree0

From the replies it would seem likely that the "chap from Nottingham" has disappeared. No surprise.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate we do not need people like you on here, green has been superb for rangers more than any 'rangers men' done for the club, so go away with your negativity or get behind the club, and to the original poster, no i dont think it did buddy the investors that put money in were announced by green, i dont know who the other two billionaires (apart from mike ashley) were or whats happening with them.

Are you that thick that after the last two owners you are willing to just go along with what is coming out of Ibrox. Well I'm not and I don't trust Green at all

Agree0 Disagree0

Green is the only 1 to have done what he said he would, some rangers fans will never be happy because walter smith , john greig and john brown arent involved with the club, these are the fans we dont need!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes 2 the above poster he has dissapeared back to nottingham because the man in question is mick ashley and he is at newcastle and he is buying a share in rangers w.a.t.p

Agree0 Disagree0

No mate im not 'thick'

Im not going to sit up and draw theories about how green may ruin the club, im going to get right behind him as i'll say again HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT STEPPED UP FOR OUR CLUB, what do you want to happen tell me id love to know? if green hadnt been there , we wouldent have a club to support anymore

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Aug 2012 21:10:45
Have you heard this? If true would be amazing, Supposedly if we draw a spl team at home in the cup charles green is making all tickets a quid if u buy a £14 programme. U will b given a token to give at the gate to get in for a pound. Means all money goes to the club from the
programme sales and spl
Club get 50p for every ticket sold instead of £7.50. Good man

Del
BR f37

Believable99 Unbelievable61

As much as I'd love this it'd cause more hassle than we need.

Agree0 Disagree2

I suppose it's OK then if we're drawn away and everyone does this to us?.

Agree2 Disagree1

Both clubs
Decide on the price for the tickets and
There is a min/max price already in place.
If it was this easy do U not think clubs would have done this before. Brian

Agree0 Disagree0

Read the rules remember them ur last club broke plenty of them the sfa will have a price list team much accept even sevco

Agree1 Disagree2

Sadly cup games ticket prices are agreed by both clubs? Or is that only applicable if both clubs are in the same league? Would be brilliant if he did do this but

Agree1 Disagree0

Would not surprise me the new club is no better than the old, trying to find ways of dodging payments

Dannybhoy

Agree1 Disagree3

As much as i think this would be class. I fear it would open a big can of worms. What goes around comes around and all that.

Agree2 Disagree0

Both teams need to agree the price , so it won't work

Agree0 Disagree0

Great idea but i reckon the spl will make up a new rule demanding we turn over all our money to them as its pretty clear that they cannot and will not survive without the amazing and loyal supporters of The Worlds Most Successful Club, Glasgow Rangers!!!

We dont do walking away!!

We DO do proper Sell-out Saturdays!!

Agree3 Disagree0

That would be hilarious! I like Green, he is a decent man.

Agree2 Disagree0

That's good so other teams will do the same back

Agree0 Disagree0

Charles Green knows fine well that for this to happen the opposing team would have to agree to the pricing, just as if we drew an SPL team away from home Green would have to agree to a similar idea.

Playing to the galleries and taking bears for fools again just like he did pretending that he would succeed with a CVA when there was no chance of that happening.

BARNEY BEAR

Agree0 Disagree1

Another way of cheating people out of money, then you wonder why other supporter's hate you.
Tam

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep. That would be right up your street woulöd it not. Can you not stop cheating?? can you not stop scheming? Pay your dues, you went bust due to greed, you not mended your ways, this sense of entitlement must sicken real rangers fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure that would be legal was there not something about teams that gave tickets for free in the past still having to pay appropriate amount to other team but it would be quite funny also do you thin we will ever find out which 1 of the 30 clubs that voted said no

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol. Would love this to be true.

Rangers1.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha that's really funny! I bet when it happens to your team you will be up in arms ya paupers pmsl

Agree0 Disagree0

Am pretty sure both clubs have 2 agree on ticket prices for cup games.

Agree0 Disagree0

And if it's an away game against an SPL team, maybe they'll do that too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great idea my friend, go ahead and continue to screw scottish football clubs. but surely if this is going to happen the programme should be £14.99 . then you would only have to share the penny. now that would be true the rangers policy, taking over where the old club left off.. shamrock

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont the clubs have to agree to a fixed price?

Agree0 Disagree1

That would be funny if he did.
The begining of the backlash :)
GIRUY SPL

Agree0 Disagree0

How to win new friends and influence them - lesson 4.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was said as a "joke "last week when he was handing out bottled water and soft drinks , great idea for starving the spl clubs but it aint gonna happen rules are rules m8 but if you worked it out half of a full house is just under 25k but as fellow posters have said we cant do this but a nice thought all the same

The airport bear

Agree0 Disagree1

Sneaks in and whispers "What about INTEGRITY"

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe CG will try anything as dodgy as this. Not unless he wants the same reputation as the last owners.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vat is chargeable on all publications.....

Agree0 Disagree0

And I can just see all the program sellers raking in 10's of thousands out in the street!

the twilight zone is alive & kicking ;-)

bil72

Agree0 Disagree0

Green "see i'm one of you" is in this purely for profit,he doesn't care a jot about us, playing the "the every body hates RFC card" pathetic, deep down i still don't trust him .

Agree1 Disagree0

The worrying thing is when people are suggesting these type of things, they seem to think its clever. For their club owner to be trying to pull fast moves and go about theyre business like del boy trotter. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER THE LAST 2 OWNERS?

This club needs a man in charge who will make the correct and sometimes tough decisions for us. Not to pander to the idiotic element of our support and most of all to show some class, dignity. Up till now Charles Green has failed in all these objectives. It is not too late however. He was the only man who stepped up and put his money where his mouth is and bought the club and im grateful for that, but i wish he would go about his business is a more mature and wiser fashion. What does he expect to happen when everytime he does an interview he slags the SPL in such a childish manner? Of course they will be gunning for him.

Keep your trap shut Charlie and just do your job.

WATP

Agree0 Disagree1

The SPL clubs are starving enough at the moment, its hilarious, the only full house theve had so far is the dundee derby, and the standard of squad is dropping by the transfer window! Rangers forever!

Agree2 Disagree1

Green cares about one thing - making a profit from Rangers and if the way to maximise his profits is by saying what the fans want to hear so be it.

The crowd at the weekend showed we have one of the best fanbases in world football but we're also one of the most gullible.

Hamish

Agree0 Disagree2

It is comments like this post that give all good Rangers fans bad press. We should play the game true & square with all clubs

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol look at the number of celpish fans getting wound up about this. Absolutely obsessed ha

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd just like to point out that as mentioned this is a rumour, don't remember ever hearing or reading anything where these words have come out of Green's mouth. Besides, let's look at this from a grown up point of view, it'll never happen, for a start, as others have mentioned, ticket prices are agreed between both teams but half the people on here are already baying for Green's blood as if he's actually tried to do this which seems a bit unfair on the guy to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a complete load of pi5h, 30,000 bears queing up for a programme then a queue for tickets at a £1 im sure police would allow never mind sfa etc, dont think some peepil will be happy until rangers are booted out of all leagues.

Agree0 Disagree0

This can't happen there is a minimum pricing structure set for clubs for tickets to stop this exact scenario taking place.

Agree0 Disagree0

To see a 3rd div team sounds about right

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I the only person to think mr greene and his spin doctors are doing all the things we want him to and saying all the things he knows we want to hear, I am becoming more and more concerned as the days pass, my eyes are nipping from the wool covering

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right mate, i feel green is a dodgy car salesman, and is full of b@llocks, changes his tune and has already been shown he speaks with forked tounge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down dears! This rumour from the OP is clearly a spin out from the 'joke' that's doing the rounds. and some muppet has taken it as true. It's a sados attempt at humour and the arms and legs have grown as usual.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great idea my friend, go ahead and continue to screw scottish football clubs. but surely if this is going to happen the programme should be £14.99 . then you would only have to share the penny. now that would be true the rangers policy, taking over where the old club left off.. shamrock

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is that why you thought of it! True Rangers Policy what you are talking is pure pants....anything to make a negative comment on Rangers....i think you should look at and worry about your own soon to be struggling club shamrock!

Agree0 Disagree0

Folks I would like to urge caution.

For a start this is probably a non-runner but that is not my point.

Green may turn out to be the man but from what I see so far he is full of sound bites and each time he seems to stir the masses.

The way I see it is we get behind the boys on the park and the manager and stick together ourselves, however, I dont think it is wise to marry the first lass who flashes her ass at us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unbelievable how some supposed Rangers fans are still getting on Greens back, the guy has come in and stabilised us and also seems to be building a decent squad to get us through the leagues. Give him a break and be happy we still have a club to support.

heard we're going back in fae daniel cousin. shame the deal collapsed in february coz a thought he was crackin at rangers first time aroond. our strikeforce will be lethal wi andy little, kevin kyle, dean shiels, fran sandaza and daniel cousin! :-)

Believable17 Unbelievable79

How many strikers do we need? Just another over paid passenger. Kyle? Really? Where are these young guys from Murray Park we've all been waiting for! Barrie McKay or Little have been the best players this season.

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes , RFC will need a 'lethal' strike force to win the 3rd Div. Duh, wake up ! Rangers will walk the £rd Div with the palyers they have. Save some dosh and get another couple of good young cheap players in. Try looking at Div2 / 1 players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think we need another striker but maybe a rb and maybe an extra body or 2 in mid

Agree0 Disagree0

Guess he'll get on well with Ally at the diet classes.

Agree0 Disagree0

He didn't care too much for Rangers first time round, so what's his motivation like for Division 3?

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be a good signing mate but we dont need him, 3rd division and hes 36 waste of money, Kyle, Sandaza, Sheilds, Little , Mcleod and Mckay is more than enough fire power to win the 1st, 2nd and 3rd division
