According to reports preliminary talks have taken part with RB Leipzig and the Gers about McKay. Figure between 5-7 million bieng talked about. Thoughts on this one bears?

I like Mckay but i can't see anyone offering the sort of cash that has bn reported for 2 reasons.1-hes had a handful of decent games and 2-we're skint so teams will be offering buttons at first to test our resolve rather than going baw deep with a 7m bid

The guff you say they are creating is to benefit no one except rangers. Its to try and get as much as possible into the coffers to run the club, it seems you are blinded to the truth. Sensible fans that are not fooled by all this garbage should get it into your heads that you are being duped big time, and its getting really obvious to everyone else, why can't you see what's in plain sight.

Heard about this a few weeks ago. BM enters the last year of his contract in the summer and has indicated he would like to move on. Rangers are therefore looking to move him on now to get a decent fee (£6m + add ons seems like a good deal to me)
Also heard Rangers have earmarked Nicholson from Hearts as his replacement (pre-contract) .

I would be very disapointed if we let mckay go. Hees seeems to be the only midfielder we have with a bit of creative spark and a football brain. But unfortunatly i believe we would accept anything above 4 mill.

He has 18 months left on his contract and I think we should wait until the summer when there will be more interest from the EPL and the price will go up. He was the best player o the park on Hogmanay and his stock will only go up if he can continue that form.

Jordano. We need more midfielders here's why. Hyndman and toral be gone in 6 months. Halliday and Holt are mince. Kranjcar is finished. Crooks might not cut it. That leaves windass and rossiter of which both are injury prone therefore we play 3 in the middle only 2 are good enough. Meaning we need another good enough for the 3 and a further 2 or 3 for squad rotation and competition.

rangers have sent scouts to the African cup of nations to scout a couple of young talented players and also to scout out a solid defender and I also have heard that we are looking for a possible signing of a central defender from Leeds by the name of viera.

they've clearly said previously they have a network of people who report to them. Most likely former players in USA, Europe, that kind of thing. I don't doubt someone with ties to Rangers is there watching the games

I'm sure there are free-lance scouts who can be sent anywhere to watch players. They don't necessarily have to be on rangers books

DR reports today McKay wanted by Leipzig for £6mill. This will test the board to see if keeping our youth to build on is more important than Balancing the books. Personally I would push for 8mill and use that to buy 3 players. CB, DM and striker

£8m would test the board's resolve Blue nose, but we need to think about the push for 2nd and the prospect of European football. What will Barrie McKay's stock be at after a couple of euro games? This is only the first bid from one team which will trigger a mad dash of scouts etc from everywhere! . The board will have to run the risk of him getting injured if they keep him. Difficult one for DK and Warbs. I think Warbs will push to keep him tho because he knows a potential EPL move looms over the horizon.

Anything over £5 million I think the board would bite their hand off. Disappointing as I do think he is both our best and most promising player at the moment.

The delusion here is outstanding? Explain the £6m valuation other than the daily record saying so. Decent player, played well in the Hogmany game, nothing more. £1.5-2m at most I'd say

I'd say sell him. Take the £6mil and buy Hayes and Nicholson. Hayes is probably on par with Mckay and older so we could use him for a few seasons. Nicholson is a good player on his day, one I'd love to see in a Rangers shirt, he will only improve with time too.

Also Bluenose I see your point about getting a CB, DM, ST. however, without Mckay we'd have no cover incase Wallace ever gets injured again. If we are going forward with the 3-5-2 then we need to replace Mckay or need a backup LB. Aidan White from Barnsley could do the trick, he's fast and a decent defender who can play as a left mid.

6M for a boy who hasn't played in europe and isn't an international regular who has 18mths on his contract is a great offer if true i'd like to tie him doen on a new deal hopefully get a crack at europe nxt season then we can start the bidding at 10m

Dont want to sound negative bluenose but i hate the thought of warbs potentially having 8 mil to spend on players if we sold mckay for that. wouldn't go on players anyway, it would be used to pay for running costs i expect. Bad times

I don't think we are in a position to knock that sort of money back I think there will be a lot of pressure from all side to sell if that sort of bid came in. Totally agree that we should hold onto him as a bid from the EPL could easily double knowing the ridiculous nature from there.

Jmaster. I'm not being disrespectful, just wondering were that valuation came from, as Leipzig, as far as I can see have not made any bid. I also see that Hull and Swansea are Supposedly interested but with a valuation of 1.5m, so i wasn't too far away.

Dembele has performed very well in league, cup, Europe and France u21 all season. If he continues that 20-30m is very achivable.

And for the record, we all know McKay is not worth 6mil 😂 But if a teams willing to pay that then fair play. Rangers certainly aren't in a position to knock back offers of a significant amount

McKay is a full international. I've watched him the last two seasons and on his game he can be unplayable at times. I actually wouldn't accept £6m. Where does your valuation for dembele come from? Just because Brenda said it in an interview? I'd have McKay over Forrest or Roberts I'm sure you value them at more than £2m?

Wow! I have no words for that! I can't really comment on McKay too much tbh, outwith games against Celtic I have only seen him a handful of times. The best he's played was in his last game against us, and he was your best player, but nothing special, just had a good game. A lot of my pals who see him every week even comment how erratic his form can be. So for these reasons alone, added with the fact he has no real experiance playing in a top league out with the last 5 months says to me he's not a 6mil player.

I've explained my reasons for Dembele, and that will be further proved when he will undoubtly get a France call up this year.

And for BM being better than Forrest and Roberts 😂😂😂 McKay would be lucky to make a Celtic bench. The gap - don't forget!

If Dembele is called up for the full France squad and displaces the £60m rated Griezmann then I will happily accept his valuation at that point. He hasn't so far. The last game against your mob wasn't McKay's best performance. His performance in the semi last year wasn't bad either when he scored a bullet.

if we sell mackay I really hope David king keeps this money locked away till the summer we have enough in the squad 2 get second and Warburton record in the transfer market is not great
