I see gerrard prepared to give rangers winger brandon barker a last chance to prove he's good enough 2 stay with rangers.
Gerrard stated that on his game barker can be unplayable. He just has tobe more consistent. I had heard months ago now that in training barker is unstoppable but for some reason up until now, he hasn't carried that onto match day games.
That's happened to many a talented player! What do other fellow bears think. IF barker starts to produce for us regularly, what he played like in the lyon tournament, should we keep him?

He is worth another chance but suspect he does not have the physical strength or mentality to deliver what Rangers need. He showed when he played for Hibs he has something but producing it 5 games a year is not good enough at Rangers. There is a good reason why he never made it at Man City.

They all look good when teams believe they are better than us, we have great players for counter attacking football, however when faced with 2 banks of 5 in front of them players like barker donât have the ability to break them down or use pace and with very little long range shooting ability in our side we struggle against defensive sides in Scotland.

My concern with Barker is he couldnât force his way into our squad after the team had a major form slump after new year. He looks like a guy who doesnât believe he should be here.

Maybe if the manager played a system that got the best out of his players, we would see a difference. Tactics last season were garbage for domestic fixtures, hence why we played better in Europe. Thatvstyle is not suited to Scottish football.

Spot on Coully. We always play well on the counter attack especially against European teams who open up. Our problem is opening up defensive teams in Scotland who sit with two banks of 5 and counter us. This was part of the problem after the last winter break. We need to play at a higher tempo, be more clinical and show more aggression. This was lacking in almost all of our post winter break performances which were abysmal and painful to watch to say the least.

The reasons barker didn't make the grade with Man City 1. They are in a league that get rewarded a gazillion more in prize money 2.can spend 50 million on a winger at the drop of a hat-How's that for a summary.

Thing about Barker is he's apparently frighteningly good in training but struggles to turn it on on matchday! there's a worry that we might lose something that we know deep down could be useful if it comes good!

Every player deserves a chance what some do in training that impresses the management they can't do in a game you can be the greatest at training but not in a game
For example we watch doherty doing well at hibs on loan etc but when he at rangers traning is he showing the same or enough for stevie g to say you ain't gping on loan that's what i need here?

Anyone else heard anything about a court injunction/ hearing on Friday to prevent Castore from selling and distributing the new kit? I've been told that someone/ some company had launched some legal action? Surely this is false - will we ever be free from this crap?
