We need someone who can play up front on their own, given the formation Stevie G prefers AND can score 30+ goals a season. We won't get that with what we are able to pay, unless we get VERY lucky like we did with Fred.

As for Katic, i hope not. The guy has a big future alongside big George.
Sooner get rid of Goldson or helander. 2 CBs that are slower than a week in the jail will not do for next season.

I think katic is the best out and out defender at the club he just needs an experienced cb beside him for a couple of years for that reason I would be looking for a 30 something player who has won things and knows how to lead a back line I think itās the most important single signing we need right now, Goldson is mince, Edmison is in a similar position as katic young and needs a leader to play along side, for me the juryās out on helander Iāve not been overly impressed with what Iāve seen but he deserves a chance but I have to say he looks unnaturally slow for someone with his physique.

John25, good catch then Iāve seen the boy 7 or 8 times over last couple of seasons. Big unit, good footballer and good attacking option at set plays. An upgrade on Goldson and Katic I would say although I do think Katic has great potential.

If Gerrard intent on another cb he does not know what he is doing. Katic best defender has minor wobble and gets dropped. I seem to remember amo and Cuellar making bigger mistakes. Goldson shocking we need a left back, a right winger, and a cf. Mo could go barasic wants to go and no decent right winger after candeias.

I read somewhere that the boy cooper we were interested in a season or 2 ago is available on free not sure if accurate but he looked a good player. Big strong lad that's good in the air and good enough with ball at his feet. I think we need to move 1 maybe 2 CB on looks like katic may be 1 and I would go with goldson or hellander keep edmunson.

Guessing that in the current economic climate of uncertainty, most players are worth what another team pays for them - nothing more, nothing less.
Of course I could be wrong and Hagi is only worth 20p and Katic Ā£20m.

Think 4 million for hagi is a good deal. Has played for some decent teams and is an international player. Especially if it's being reported that kamara is valued at 7-9 million. The boy is a good player and will only get better so value will go up. Give him another 6 months to get used to our league and he will destroy teams here.

They are all decent players but none of them are the standard needed to win the league and will only help keep us in second place.

I have said for a while I think Lewis Ferguson will be the player we badly need in the middle of the park. Run in his family to know what playing for rangers is all about and I think he has the quality to match it. Would also like to see Hagi around next season, was the only decent player in the last few games that season.

I'm not sure Dykes would improve our team. Dykes started of the season well but didn't finish great. I think the midfield for next season could be interesting. Not sure who will be brought in, I'm sure there will be, but with the likes of Davies, Arfield, Aribo, Jack, Kamara, Kent, Hagi (possibly) then whoever is brought in who is going 2 be happy on the bench? Then of course what will happen to youngsters with potential to make matchday squads. Will the youngsters have even less of a chance this year with more pressure to stop them.

Dont know what some of u are smoking at times. Every time Dykes has played against us and the manky mob, he has caused problems. Am not saying be is a replacement for Buff, but as a said months ago, and got shot down by some, we need 3, perhaps 4 strikers. lewis ferguson is the best young midfielder in the country, Hagi has 2 in Europe this season. So my question is, who would u bring in, that is better, with our budget?

Laudrup nobody knows what are budget is yet. We have spent 10 mill give or take each of last 2 seasons. If morelos kamara and possibly barisic go. That would bring in in my opinion about 25mill. On top of new shirt deal and europa money etc. New investment supposedly. So yeah i would like us to bring in a proper proven goalscorer. We cannot afford any slip ups this year.
