heard that lewis macleod is a highly rated play down south with a few premier league and championship team interested

Believable12 Unbelievable53

Aye, prem reserve league.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is the best young talent in Scotland and by some margin so it is not surprising that top EPL Clubs will be looking at him.

Hopefully the young lad will realise that he is better staying at Rangers for a few years where he can develop before making a move to one of the top Clubs.

It would be illogical for him to move to one of the lower league teams and Wilson's ill fated move to Liverpool should be warning enough for him to bide his time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hurry up and leave son, good luck in moving to a bigger league even if its the English 1st. You won't develop in Scotland that's for sure.

Agree0 Disagree1

1 more year at rangers the head for a championship club would be his best move for his development

Agree0 Disagree0

He hasn't proven himself in the 3rd division

Agree1 Disagree0

Who is he, and what does he do?

What makes him more of a prospect than, say, James Forrest or Tony Watt?

Agree1 Disagree0

For a start macleod is younger than watt and forrest. he's way better than both of them. watt scored a goal against barca big wow ffs. forrest beats a man and does nothing when he's not injured. typical celtic fan

Agree2 Disagree1

Lewis Mcleod may be a prospect but let's be realistic he needs to show more than a few decent performances in the bottom tier of scottish football. To say he is the best young prospect in Scottish football is ridiculous as he is not proven at any decent level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't waste your career like Temps ( the next best thing, supposedly) get yourself out the BIG HOOSE and prove yourself unlike Temps who set himself back 3yrs for the money!

Agree0 Disagree3

If MacLeod was better than both Watt and Forrest, he'd definitely have been snapped up for less than £1m by now. What's he done, though? Take the blinkers off.

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally know Lewis he ain't going anywhere he's big rangers fan and sacked his agent as he signed a 5 year deal with rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Dec-93 for watt.

lewis -mar 94

so 4 months wow

I've just got back from holiday and saw yesterday that Kenny Miller was 72 hours away from re-signing, how can we sign him does he not still have 5 months to run on his current contract?

Believable24 Unbelievable8

His contract got cancelled

Agree0 Disagree0

His contract hasn't been cancelled - that was Boyd.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally, wouldn't touch him with a barge pole! He showed his true colours when he left for the big money. Now at the age he is and the fact his contract is cancelled he wants to come back to Rangers. Funny that. I have no doubt he would probably do a job for Rangers, however, fidelity, loyalty and playing for the jersey have to be more important? I think older and experienced players in a team is a good thing, but Ally should be focusing on the great youth talent he has available and concentrating on keeping hold of them, developing them and growing a team for the future! I guess we'll soon see where his interests lie if another club at a higher league express interest?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he doesn't sign. He can't trap a bag of cement, hardly scores and he is 33. What can he offer Rangers future? Youth is the only way forward, no more jobs for the boys coisty.

Agree1 Disagree0

I would imagine there is better younger talent within Rangers rather than going for someone who is at the end of his career? Yes I am a Tim and think that this is a perfect opportunity for Rangers to grow and mould their youths into great players and not fall prey to money grabbers. Ally focus on what you have and not what you had and get back up to the top flight where you should be.

Agree1 Disagree0

And were is all this money coming from bell, daly, clark, and add miller remember we can only register 22 over 21 players and 5 of the youngster are now over 21 so we need to lose 8 players from the list of last season just to add the 3 new ones and the 5 over 21 youngsters WHO goes??

Agree0 Disagree0

His contract WAS cancelled

Agree0 Disagree0

If his contract was cancelled why has there been nothing in the news about it and he's still listed as active on the team's website?

Believable16 Unbelievable30

Don't know if we will sign him don't think he's a big rangers man it seems u need that on here or the player no use folk still livin in the 80s good players wae loads a fight what we need

Agree0 Disagree0

We need flair skill and ability and he has that in spades. Doubt he will come though, will probably get one or two offers from the championship.
