Rangers are still after another CB the reason Senderos hasn't been signed yet as he's the fall back incase this other one doesn't come off.
It's all being kept very quiet but is a name as big as Lescott.

I've seen mexes being mentioned a lot online, not totally sure I can see that happening but if it is him that would he a class addition. He's a free agent so it is more likely since I can't see warbs paying for a cb when he can easily get one for free.

I do know there are a few decent cbs that are free agents. Such as Carceres, mexes and santana. As much as I'd love to have any of them I do see ferdinand a more realistic option.

Senderos was back training at Murray Park today with his representatives arriving to negotiate a contract this evening.
I can't guess how much he wants or is being offered but I would suggest a deal is imminent and could be concluded tomorrow.
My source advised he was heading for the talks immediately after training today.

It looks like Senders is keen on a deal. I wish him every success if he signs. The guy started off well in his career and then was plagued by injuries. If we can keep him fit then I reckon that he will be a positive addition to our team. God knows we need a couple of decent quality centre backs!

think we need to be sure we can't get sum1 else in first as he will get injured and leave us with what we have and I don't think he ever reached his potential. we need a marriappa or sum1 like him with pace.

put it this way I trust warbs but if he brings in another player and he isn't a good c/ b then my trust will waver a wee bit as we all can clearly see we struggle at the back and in the first half of that game warbs should have been shouting at tav to stop leaving space at the back we where lucky not to lose more than one in that first half!

WhatATeam I hope that's not the team that plays Killie as we will get beat. I was at the game on Saturday and Barrie McKay was worse than a man down. His second touch was a tackle every time.
We should be starting with Kranjaer as he creates the opportunities and then subbing him until he gets match fitness, this way we will have more opportunities to end the game early.
Also I think Dodoo should start as he was good once he came on. He still hasn't settled in fully but constantly was running and after his performance on Saturday, we can't not play miller.

tav has been our best performer in the league so far he put at least 5 excellent crosses into the box but no hunger from our forwards made them useless also think he's bn defensively sound so far kiernans the problem forever ball watching no strong enough and i think him and wilson have a competition to see who can ping the most balls out for a shy.

ive got to be honest guys I don't care about the big names in our team I wouldn't start with niko or barton as I think they are off the pace and warbs does the right thing and bring niko on when the other team gets tired as he is more effective then.
my midfield would be rossiter, forrester and holt.
since that is the first time I've seen McKay not play great i'd still be picking him on the left put dodo out on the right where he loves to play and garner as the striker.
off the bench i'd bring barton on for rossiter niko for holt at 60 mins and bring miller on for dodo with 20 mins left. just my opinion no one has to like it.

Dodoo ahead of Miller as well! What games have you's been watching this season because it can't be the same ones that I have. Dodoo has not shown enough for me so far in the games that he's featured. Still waiting to see this blistering pace that he's meant to possess because he's struggling to get away from defenders when he's played. Nowhere near ready to play in the first team yet.

@ Rick Witter - Coming on for a few minutes where were defending desperately against Dundee is hardly a chance to prove himself! He managed to set up a sitter for Baz which predictably he missed! Motherwell, played out of position as a sub and from what I can see contributed more than McKay did in the whole time he was on the park! If he's not ready then very few of our player are!

I like that team but given we have just spent £1.5m on a striker I suspect that he will start rather than Dodoo. Would definitely go with Forrester and MOH before McKay. I just don't believe that McKay can hack it in the SPL and certainly not at outside left.

I see the usual objective hammering of any young Scottish player to come through our youth ranks and break into the first team is still alive and well on here anyway. Give the kid a break and try supporting and encouraging him instead of berating him. He's consistently been one of our best players, imo our poty last season and outside of fod, tav and Wallace has played the most amount of games out of the entire squad. That alone tells you how highly warburton rates him. Almost the first thing krankjaer, who has played and trained with genuine top quality players, said following his initial training sessions was the sky was the limit for this kid yet he clearly can't spot a talent either as all I read in here is the usual garbage previously reserved for Hutton, Adam etc from those that obviously know better. The bit that really gets my goat though is the sheer ignorance of the position he's been asked to play. It's not his job to 'beat his man, get to the byline and fire in a cross'. His job is to retain possession, cut inside and either play it to someone else inside him or, more often than not, slide Wallace through to cross it in. He does the latter superbly well and consistently every game, which is why he is constantly picked whilst the other positions are rotated. If you'd rather he hit the byline then moan at the manager, not mackay, he's doing what's being asked of him. Ok, he was poor the other day, but so what. Everyone has an off day and he's still young, he won't be outstanding every game. The grief he gets is beyond belief at times.

I can't see Senderos and Crooks starting as they both are not match fit so I think it might be Tav, Kerian, Wilson, and Wallace.
Like to see Barton as DM with Rossiter and Holt or Windass
We have so many options upfront but I would expect Garner to play some part of the game v Killie.

Whoever says Mackay can't hack it in the SPL is bonkers, he's one of the brightest young talents in the league. Yes he can lose the ball but he's one of very few players in our team who's not scared to take a man on. This is the reason why so many bright young prospects don't make it at Ibrox is becos we don't encourage them to be inventive and creative. Too quick to get on people's backs when they try a bit of skill. Bunch a dinosaurs.

IMO there is far too much negativity on here towards big Kiernan. The guys is only 25 and is being asked to play more football from the back than probably any centre half on our history, in addition to shutting down quick breaks from the opposition with little protection from the front or flanks. I think any centre half would be exposed to criticism in these circumstances. He can only be judged when he has two full backs who can defend and a holding midfielder bedded in. Until then the level of criticism is unfair.
