Game postponed to 8pm, waiting on C.V. results. on RFC twitter.

22 Jul 2020 18:03:28
Sfa a joke.

22 Jul 2020 18:20:03
Aye sfa and all the players should just take a chance and hope they don't have C.V.

22 Jul 2020 18:41:46
no huey the sfa are a joke not the players, that mob could not run a brothel.

22 Jul 2020 18:55:00
Yip if kick off was 6pm why not do test at 3pm SIMPLES.

22 Jul 2020 19:07:50
Huey they were on sky and radio Clyde stating no player had failed C.V. tests yesterday.
How could we play Dundee United this afternoon if we had no results.
How can’t they email results to rangers. It is a joke.

22 Jul 2020 19:17:46
Not looking likely to be on. 45min to go, going to guess teams can't even get changed or arm up till test results in? Shambles.

22 Jul 2020 19:35:33
Teams out warming up, surely must mean results are in?

22 Jul 2020 19:50:09
Teams named I believe.

22 Jul 2020 20:12:09
Darryl Currie tweeted we were still missing test results. Motherwell have 5 more on bench than us so maybe that's why.

22 Jul 2020 20:53:43
Here we go. Remember we played this afternoon.

22 Jul 2020 20:59:10
It is absolutsly nothing to do with the SFA. It's a medical testing company used. Wisen up peoples lives are at stake. Nice morality lads.

22 Jul 2020 21:23:28
Tjrfc 100% spot on don’t know why people complaining about sfa do they do the testing? Embarrassing.

22 Jul 2020 21:41:18
Yes, as far as I believe, the association is in charge of the testing 👍.

22 Jul 2020 21:54:22
Kja9 it is the sfa they r responsible for organising tests, maxwell announced results yesterday on sky and radio Clyde.
Sfa r responsible for making sure every team is tested and notify clubs as per maxwell yesterday.

22 Jul 2020 22:29:53
KJA9 You come on here trying to be smart agreeing with Tjrfc where partly he is correct but you critisce people on here and you have no clue The SFA would be the governing body to roll out testing for C.V. 👍.

22 Jul 2020 23:40:48
KJA9 you're wrong again kid, this is starting to get embarrassing👍.

23 Jul 2020 13:27:47
KJA9 have u actually listened to Ian Maxwell head of sfa how they are responsible for managing cv tests for all players in Scotland.
The work that goes with it and how they notify clubs one they the sfa get results back from labs.
My main issue is he’s on sky and radio Clyde announcing results to media before clubs.

23 Jul 2020 13:48:25
jeez kj you keep forcing me to agree with coldo :) ) )

23 Jul 2020 13:57:54
You know it makes sense eric😁👍.

23 Jul 2020 15:09:11
He knows the score.

22 Jul 2020 11:03:18
Hearing tonight's game at Ibrox could be off due to the heavy rain?
Anybody heard?

22 Jul 2020 11:41:57
No even played a game on new pitch yet and will be an absolute state already no doubt. Yet hear were lookin to lower pitch even more (i didn't think it was possible)

22 Jul 2020 12:07:26
Surely not? Bern dry for days, we have a severe problem if one days rain makes our pitch unplayable.

22 Jul 2020 12:15:06
WTF are you talking about Paul? The pitch is in perfect condition just now (it's not difficult to find pictures of it)

22 Jul 2020 12:25:36
Grumpy i was replyin to original post sayin game could be off becase of rain. Come end last season our pitch was probably the worst state in the league.

22 Jul 2020 12:27:07
Also grumpy its bang perfecr condition as its brand new and not been played on yet since its been layed.

22 Jul 2020 14:50:31
Paul 86 our pitch is the best pitch even if it isn't awryt away back underneath your rock.

22 Jul 2020 14:59:17
What utter nonsense, why say something like that? The game is very much ON!

22 Jul 2020 15:23:31
B team lost 4.1 to dundee utd jones doherty bassey etc all in b team only thing is daily rebel says robbie neilsons team lol i'm sure he at hearts now lol.

22 Jul 2020 18:07:55
Micky mellons there new manager, shocking result even for B team.

22 Jul 2020 19:41:44
It doesn't matters who's team it was for Rangers to lose by 4 - 1 against Dundee United is nothing short of an embarrassment and for me simply highlights the need for us to bring in more layers both for the first team and as squad players. The sooner some of these failures, (and I am not referring to our young players, are gone the better!

22 Jul 2020 23:23:30
It's not heavy rain nicedayforthewalk, it's the floods of tears coming fae the dark side cz the smellies cudny score against an under 20 team but yet slated us after we won the French national Cup 😂.

22 Jul 2020 08:22:58
Hello lads hope all is well. I heard the Bristol City guys are not giving up on Gerard being their next manager. Apparently a 40 million war chest being made available for new signings.

I really hope he stays but I have a friend who is in the know with this stuff and Gerard has had talks with Klopp about the offer. Klopp has advised him to take the Bristol job due to the fact if he wins nothing with us next season it will have been last chance saloon and his dream managers job with Liverpool will be dead in the water.

If he does decide to go I really hope we can get someone like Steve McLaren as he held talks with Dundee United but the obviously could not afford him and he is an ex England Manager with bags and bags of experience. He won a few cups in Holland a swell. What do you think guys?

22 Jul 2020 08:47:14
Don't be surprised if tav and Goldson are his 1st Bristol City signings imo.

22 Jul 2020 08:56:47
Gerrard cannot leave Rangers because Steven Gerrard Loyal would have to change his nom de plume. That’s unthinkable haha.

22 Jul 2020 09:22:04
Aye because he has never had to do that before 😉.

22 Jul 2020 09:24:02
Muppet SGL used to having to change his name.

22 Jul 2020 09:30:26
I know it’s a rumour page big boabie, but that’s just a load of nonsense.

22 Jul 2020 09:36:27
If he leaves we just have to deal with it. There's a good bunch of players there, sure there would be a manager who could get a lot out of them.

22 Jul 2020 09:56:41
Steve mclaren no thanks from me anyway.

22 Jul 2020 10:10:59
I’m sorry, that’s such a load of crap. You have a ‘friend’ who has personal knowledge of the conversations that Steven Gerrard has with Klopp? Really? Really? No journalists or pundits in the world of football anywhere has this knowledge but your friend does? Is your friend Mrs Klopp or Mrs Gerrard? No matter how much the Bristol chairman may want him there is no way Gerrard is leaving. He signed a contract to 2024 just last year, he’s instilled a full back room, coaching and youth department full of his men, he’s not going to upsticks and leave without having won anything. That alone would harm his chances of getting the Liverpool job more than anything.

22 Jul 2020 10:14:26
Dont think gerrard will go but if he does i sure as hell hope we have some better ideas out there than Steve McLaren.

22 Jul 2020 10:34:48
I don’t think Stevie G will be leaving but let’s say for arguments sake he does who would you replace him with?
Some decent managers are and might become available such as Nigel Pearson, Eddie Howe (Bournemouth most likely going down) amongst others.

22 Jul 2020 10:41:55
Must be great to have pals who know all about conversations between the likes of SG and Klopp. Hopefully they don't mind him passing the information on to one and all because we wouldn't want to be left out of the loop.

22 Jul 2020 10:48:12
I'm torn between Stevie staying or going.

If he does stay and has another barren trophy season i've already said he would be kicked out with the wrath of our supporters ringing in his ears.

On the other hand, if he does jump ship this season we will be back to square one having to re-organize all over again and find a manager to give us instant success which is highly unlikely.

If he has a brilliant season with us it is his best chance to eventually get his beloved Liverpool job.

Lets hope it's the latter and he stays for a couple more seasons till we can afford to sign a top class proven manager.

22 Jul 2020 10:53:27
Steve McClaren 😂😂😂😂😂 guys an absolute dud made a pig's ear of almost every job he's ever had man.

22 Jul 2020 10:57:41
What if he joins Bristol and gets relegated? Would he still get the Liverpool job? I smell shi*e.

22 Jul 2020 10:57:53
Stevie g ain't gping anywhere lemmon will be sacked before he goes.

22 Jul 2020 11:03:59
Is this a fishing post. Steve mclaren! c'mon man.

22 Jul 2020 11:14:17
Tell your friend he is talking pish, IF klopp and SG had a conversation how in would he know what was said.

22 Jul 2020 11:15:36
Couldn’t agree more with Gers1978.

22 Jul 2020 11:20:42
Stevie does go eddie howe for me.

22 Jul 2020 11:43:09
40 mill in england don't go that far.

22 Jul 2020 11:58:43
If they want Stevie G then the better bring a big Fat offer for compo.

22 Jul 2020 12:15:33
Would never go for a washed up manager, would even rather promote someone within.

22 Jul 2020 13:08:11
So your friend is privvy to a conversation between Gerrard and klopp?

22 Jul 2020 13:58:31
I can't believe how many people are on here even hypothetically discussing the possibility of Gerrard going to Bristol and who we will get as his replacement! No longer just rumour, this has descended into sheer fantasy. And for someone to suggest he has knowledge of any conversations between Klopp and Gerrard borders on lunacy. Oh, and McLaren? Idiocy.
Of course, this thread was started by a poster who also suggested that we could once again be safe in the hands of Murty who, by the sound of things, can't even discipline the kids!

22 Jul 2020 14:52:39
Well if we are playing this game then I'll take the £25m compensation for him and his coaching staff, expect him to buy a couple of our players to use up some this billionaires money and we will quickly have £60m in the Transfer Fund when we bring in Gatusso!

22 Jul 2020 15:08:18
I find it hilarious that people think that every time Gerrard gets a job offer he goes running to Klopp to ask for his advice what absolute nonsense. And if he was that pathetic I doubt he’d tell your friend big boabie!

22 Jul 2020 15:20:19
@I. N. T. R
Eddie Howie? Fs. Overrated
Sean Dyce all day long.

22 Jul 2020 16:13:34
Where would the money come from for the wages.

22 Jul 2020 16:30:59
Sean Dyche 100%.

22 Jul 2020 18:43:52
Ha brilliant. a conversation between klopp and Stevie . Amazin . I heard that conversation too . Stevie also said that he might just kid on he was going until he got the 40 mill . then he would come back up the road and put a deposit on Neymar for a six week loan 😂🤪i. It’s a rummers page my friend but every rummer
Needs a little bit of cred? No?

22 Jul 2020 19:44:52
Well I wonder if Big Bobbie's contacts missed Gerrard telling the Bristol Billionaire that he was not interested and that he is committed to Rangers.

22 Jul 2020 21:35:53
SGL will be wanting Billy Davies as the replacement 🙄.

22 Jul 2020 05:56:38
This Bristol city look like there digging in there heels

If Gerrard did go, for me me I think it would look very bad on him professionally.

But it would also suggest he had no belief in our team stopping Celtic this season
Which would be even worse

And wouldn't allow a lot of time for the club to line up replacement and let new manger get a grip on the team.

All in all it would be a disaster

Next week or so I think will tell if he stays or goes

I would personally like to think he believes we can win something and he stays and finished the job at hand And shows he does have faith in his own ability and that of the team.

22 Jul 2020 11:37:43
We will be ok Thestigno1: We have a safe pair of hands in Graham Murty in the background that can step in if need be.
I think he will have learned a lot from the last time too. Could be a decent appointment.

22 Jul 2020 12:10:17
Makes my mind up that big boabie is one of the dry july Tim's. New username as he can't stay away, what a sad wee man 👍.

22 Jul 2020 15:17:46
Gerrard ain’t going anywhere especially Bristol city! It would take a lot more than £40m to get them anywhere near the summit of the championship and it takes more than just money in that league anyhow. I think Gerrard is a man of his word and I doubt he would leave his post at this stage, if he did it would be detrimental to our season and I believe he has far to much class to do that at this stage.

22 Jul 2020 17:32:23
Big boabie is definitely at it.
