now that birmingham & blackpool are relagated, rangers are planning on moving for mathew upson, jonothon spector, thomas hitzlspergar, victor obinna (inter milan) and heared there speculation linking cameron jerome to ibrox and maybe even a shock return for barry ferguson !

If you add up all there wages it adds up to nearly £300 grand a week. That is our wage budjet for our whole first team sqaud. Is this a wish list because this is not the type of players we will be buying. There is no blackpool players listed.

Steven Defour is definitely not going to be on trial at rangers. He will cost any team around 12-15 million pounds and he is a central midfielder only. Manchester United were looking at him as recently as January and may still reignite their interest in him in the summer. A lot of top teams have looked at him and may well have bought him had he not suffered a broken ankle to which Sir Alex Ferguson sent him a get well soon card showing how highly he rates him. Rangers have no chance of signing him.

Any truth in the Chris Humphrey from Motherwell to Rangers rumour ed?!

{Ed010's Note - It has been reported that Rangers have expressed an interest in the player but whether there is any truth in it, is anyone's guess. I have no doubt that Ally and his team will have sat down with the team sheets from ten SPL teams and drawn up a shortlist of players that they feel would make the grade as a Rangers player.

Standard liege have apparently agreed to allow Morrocan Mehdi Carcela and Belgian Steven Defour to take in trial periods at Rangers over the summer. Both are wingers who can also play through the middle. U heard of either Ed? Source is The under 19s manager of swedish semi-pro outfit sollentuna. He does a coaching placement at Standard. Random I know.

{Ed010's Note -Sorry, new players to me but if anyone else has any information, feel free to let us all know.

steven defour was a prommising striker and a few years ago he was linked with the likes of man utd and arsenal.

for all yous wonderin who tomer hamed is heres a wee bit of info on the 24 year old striker

This season, Tomer has established himself as an important player in the first eleven of Maccabi Haifa having scored 15 goals in his last 22 starts for the club in the league and cup. He is currently the club's top goalscorer. His consistent performances alerted Israel's national coach who went as far as to include him in a behind closed doors friendly for the national team against Dynamo Kiev in January 2011, a game Tomer scored in. Subsequently in May 2011, Tomer was called up to the national team in preparation to make his competitive debut for Israel against Latvia in June.
and also according to the Belgian website "Voetbal Belgi ", KV Mechelen has great interest in obtaining this player for the next season. KV Mechelen is a sub top ranked Belgian football club.
