They like Jamie and are probably giving him another chance to see if he can progress and hopefully break into the team next year, if not then he will be a Aberdeen, Hearts or Hibs player next year. IMO.

I was looking at the players that we have out on loan and it makes very depressing reading. There's only 1 player who started and played 90 mins our keeper mccrorie. The rest either never played last week or came on as subs with 5 mins game time. It doesn't look great that they can't even get minute's under their belts out on loan. Surely the whole point of going on loans is to get playing and not sit on other teams benches. I might be wrong and they are coming back from injuries etc but it certainly doesn't look good with so many not playing.

He would add something different to the midfield, the manager is too scared to change unfortunately. Will actually make positive runs and has an eye for goal.

Defensive mistakes were a plenty in the hibs game, Goldson the culprit as usual even though for both goals he showed anger towards Helander. It was Goldson giving the ball away or getting turned too easy all day long.

I think barjonas looked good this pre season. Worth a place in squad but best going out and getting 90 mins a week and seeing where he’s at next season. Maybe even following season.

Barjonas hasn’t stepped up. not been a stand out when on loan previously however SG loves his application and ability to carry out tactical instruction. He’s not a first teamer in a rangers jersey for me.

Anytime I’ve seen Barjonas play for us he has looked more than decent. Looked athletic, able to run with the ball and with an end product. Also him scoring a cracking goal couple of years ago.

Guys, I like the opinions on this, we won't all agree on players, I do think though, that getting these young players some game time is beneficial to them going to other teams with different attitudes to playing style, how can they come back and get that training out of their system. We also paid good money for Itten, and he gets slaughtered when only getting bit parts in games, he needs to start, Alfie is not interested in my opinion, also Bassey should get more game time, he is a very good young player.

According to some media click bait link on rangers news now, lille will make a take it or leave it bid of 18mil for fredo. If this is to be believed, I imagine it would be accepted as let's be honest we'd be doing very well to get that kind of money. Does anyone find it strange that if we did reject a bid of 16.5mil why would we haggle over 1.5mil for a player who is clearly desperate to leave. Is that 1.5mil worth the hassle of an unhappy player? I don't think it is and this why I find the 16.5mil bid that was rejected hard to believe. Why would we put up with the huffs and attitude for the sake of 1.5mil, assuming of course 18mil is accepted👍.

For me morelos is still our number one striker and our club should stick to 20 million valution
If lille want him they will pay it or rangers should trying get there young dm player cheick niasse in the deal would be great addtion to our team.
For me we are still lacking 3 4 players in key areas to win leauge
Defensive mid needed who is a ball winner and can pass the ball forward
A right winger who can cross and score goals we have never replaced candelias
and a goal scoring centre mid possibly but i feel hagi could be that player if we put him in cm
And a proper strong goal scoring cf to replace morelos.
No more squad players we need first team players.

You mentioned Buff is unhappy, I actually have heard from my mate who works at Ibrox is he is now very happy and wants to stay. Having said that 18 million will be very difficult to turn down .

Only those that struggle to understand how transfers work find it difficult to understand why we would want an extra £2 million for a player we value at more than the £16million already offered by Lille. And confirmed by their Chairman and Gerrard. But still looked at in disbelief by those that can't comprehend how transfers work. 👍👀.

KJA9, how do you mean we will lose a lot of goals, do you feel we won't score as many, or, we will defensively lose a lot of goals, hasn't happened either way so far, we have a lot more goals from other areas now, which is obviously better than the reliance on Alfie previously.

According to the Sun, it is looking likely that Preston's Daniel Johnson will join Rangers before the weekend, in time to play against Motherwell on Sunday. This feels like a good signing and will strengthen our squad, especially with Jack, Aribo and Roofe injured.

It's all about budgets these days craigs. Gone are the days when we could splash out £10 million for one player. Strength in depth is important as is being demonstrated with the injuries to Jack and Aribo in particular. I wish we had kept Docherty and/ or McCrorie though as either of them could have been a decent squad player. Also, I still say signing Shankland would bolster our attacking options, especially should Morelos go to Lille during this window.

You probaly spot on regards to budget but for 3 million am sure if club looked abroad they could find better option for this amount money.
If we sell morelos this summer i think we will need to sign another striker who can slot straight in team in to replace him not another squad player he is our only striker that is scoring just now.

Hardie never got a chance so we'll never know what might have been and I'm not suggesting for a minute that Shankland is anything other than a squad striker. But if Morelos does go soon who have we got in the short term as a striker? Itten hasn't had a chance yet, nor has Roofe (who isn't a striker anyway) . My god, you are such a misery Coldo!

If morelos goes we need someone the quality of nsamee we would need too spend at least 8 million too bring in a top notch first choice striker not a squad player an absolute banger of goals.
