what about peter houston and davie weir? could do a lot worse.

Believable27 Unbelievable87

Houston you have to be joking better afford with Houston dynamo

Agree0 Disagree1

Big davue in a heartbeat, not houston

Agree0 Disagree2

Stuart mccall or big terry for me!

Agree1 Disagree2

As coaching staff or players? haha

Agree0 Disagree2

I keep hearing why not big Terry? Sadly Big Tel didn't give us any support in our plight last year and still keeps going on about how "this is the best the (spl) league has ever been"

Agree1 Disagree1

Derek adams for me,
a great young manager who has managed ross county superbly up through the leagues and i'm sure would do a fantastic job for rangers,
probably not a big enough name to satisfy the masses but I would def go for him,
come to think of it. I would even have bryan adams instead of that clown mcoist and his hangers on!

Agree1 Disagree2

Get a grip and get behind ally the way he stood behing rangers last year. Short memorys, the guy has his hands tied, 5 players reported back after the summer and he had a week to put a team together to get promotion and he has achieved that, let's be honest before naismith the rat got injured we where flying in the league playing good quality attacking football skelping celtic 4-2 at ibrox which should and could been a lot more, in super we trust

Agree2 Disagree4

24 Mar 2013 13:38:52
in super we trust is that super lager mate? allys doing a terible job and has to go

Agree1 Disagree1

Ally stood by his contract because the chances of getting another manager's job were zero, stop being so naive. Football is a business to everyone but the fans, too many fans need to be associated with success, I am sure this cannot be healthy or normal.

Agree0 Disagree0

5 Players turn up after Summer! Move on its now end of March, you can't be serious bringing up the previous 7mnths.

Agree1 Disagree1

Def go for Stuart McCall!

Agree0 Disagree1

Sometimes I wonder about some Rangers supporters? give Ally a chance, when he has money to buy some decent defensive players and doesn't do it right then condemn him, I would also have Weir at the Brox but along with Ally, give the guy a break

Agree0 Disagree2

Poster7- fed up hearing he didn't have pre-season, last minute signings. Here's the facts, 2nd biggest wage bill in Scotland/not a young team when u factor in the spl/internationals / he and his coaching team have practically a season now to improve and going backwards.
When will u see clearly what's going on in front of u

Agree0 Disagree0

To last poster fed up with u slalting rangers end of day who could have done better with embargo pending we have got league sewn up what more u want I bet u are another keyboard barrier who doesn't go to games

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems high wage bills don't mean diddly squat in football anymore, its like groundhog day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Houston! You have got to be joking. He's a complete disaster. Utd team slowly in decline under a clueless old manager who was more often than not posted missing from training at utd. He last thing we need. let's get a young manager in please. let's also get decent youth development. The most important people at the club are the person in charge of youth development and scouting team. That's who we should be paying the big money to. Not money grabbing players with no interest in rangers or old managers who will take a short term approach. It's not hard and the more I read on here and from Green I start to ask why can't people see it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a Celtic man and I sincerely hope you never have the mis-fortune to get Houston at Ibrox in any shape or form. Personally I wouldn't let him into the ground if he had a ticket.

Heres a couple names to chew on.
Dick Advocatt P le guen
Dick refused money for team and put it towards Murray Park which has produced next to nothing
(must be the coaching staff or scouts)
P Le Guen would have a system that all levels of age would play. He had us playing good football before captain Barry got rid of him.

Alsyerpal (not Ally, )

Heard from a very good realiable source that Stuart McCall is stalling on a new contract at Motherwell as Green has contacted him about taking over next season.
McCall will offer deals to Hateley, Humphrey, Law & Higdon to bring them to Ibrox.

Believable35 Unbelievable87

Rubbish

Agree3 Disagree1

If there is a cost cutting exercise going on as is being reported? Do you not think all the current high earners would have to go to bring in the four you have mentioned?

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't believe this but OH HOW I WISH IT TO BE TRUE!

Come back Le Guen. all is forgiven!

Agree2 Disagree1

More lies I have said this many times on here Allys going nowhere now stop lying

Agree0 Disagree0

Aren't Hateley, Humphrey, Law & Higdon a bit old to play now, but let's face it they can't do any worse than the current crowd.

Agree1 Disagree1

I fear ally will stay, I wish we had got davies, but ally won't be leaving anytime soon,, he has shares and cg can't pay him off,, I sincerely hope ally is ecretly plotting a big clearout for next season and we are wrong, but today showed us he hasn't a clue, even with desperatly poor players,, we were lucky to escape with a point, at ibrox? Seeing my heroes, coisty and durrant sitting motionless with ten minutes to go is heartbreaking,, clueless management team means long wait, maybe ally wil move over for the good of the team

Agree0 Disagree1

Aly will be going nowhere until after season tickets are sold, CG ain't stoopid.

Agree0 Disagree3

If that's the case then isn't it the samething as sandazza that some on here love to say his contract is cancelled since he is talking to other people about his contract? Or does it only fit the bill when people want and when it suites them?

Agree0 Disagree1

How this team can't beat Stirling Albion at home can't be down to anyone else but Ally sadly. This is the team that was as good as any in the SPL we were told, pure rubbish. He has to go.

Agree0 Disagree1

Stirling Albion players play for the jersey, its a big motivation.

Agree0 Disagree1

Hope so .

Agree0 Disagree1

And to person who wrote arn't they to old icky law is 24 tom Heatley is 23 Chris Humphries 25 and Michael higdon is 29 so again another person who hasn't got clue about football

Agree0 Disagree2

"And to person who wrote arn't they to old icky law is 24 tom Heatley is 23 Chris Humphries 25 and Michael higdon is 29 so again another person who hasn't got clue about football"

Sorry never read the post right, I am a muppet

Agree2 Disagree0

Hateley and Nicky law stupid predictive texts lol

Agree1 Disagree0

In my opinion we should try and get a foreign manager so that rangers can play a possesion game in stead of the long ball all the time, even though I want this to happen green said when he first took over that ally was going no where and is in it for the long hall. {The Ed039's Note -There are some very tactically astute British managers)

Agree0 Disagree1

I believe I could name a Rangers X1 using all the managers linked with Rangers, and they probably could still play better than the current mince.

January 2014, our embargo has been lifted and Ally gets his £10m. Who would you sign? (Provided players remain where they are until then)

s20c

Believable14 Unbelievable38

Purely hypothetical. We're already running at a loss of £1m per month. Where is this £10m coming from?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you truly believe that he will get £10m?

Agree2 Disagree0

Do you think there will still be £10m in the so called war chest?

Agree2 Disagree0

Time for a bit of sobriety lads. There will be no 10 mill for Ally as I posted earlier realistic figure more in the region of 2 to 3 mill. Maybe 2 good quality players added to squad to enhance the free agents brought in in September. This will be the plan for Next two years. When return to top league is guaranteed, Personal investment pledges will be honoured and significant finances will be made available to Ally to bring in four or five quality additions. This will be ample to reinstate Rangers to their rightful position of champions of Scotland.

Ozzie Al

Agree0 Disagree5

Lets hope McCoist isn't there to get his hands on any money I dread to think who he would sign, but no matter they would be playing out of position.

Agree0 Disagree3

23 Mar 2013 14:28:28
Ally will probably continue his policy of signing players because they looked good on Football Manager. ,

Agree1 Disagree2

Ally will probably sign auld Blind Bob wi the gimpy leg who lives at the bottom of the road.
That's of course he's no poached by Big Tam from the MLS

Agree0 Disagree0

The op never said ally would get 10 mil, he asked what would be your suggestions if he did?, the first answers he got were not what he asked guys, t, I would try andget one realgood striker, maybe paying over the odda wages wise, but we need to, and a top centre half,, and 2 middle men who can play,, may I suggest, lambert, a long shot I know, dorrans,, a fan nd a decent player, who can take a free kick, something we haven't really had since laudrup, albertz,, maybe, a strong talented dutch or german midfielder and 2defenders, get wilson back and grant hanley, who is strong and a decent threat in the box,, along with a few british players who have proven ability and one or two foriegners who are recommende,, wishful thinking I know but they would get us thru the next couple of seasons surely and one or two may turn out to be greats given the chance, now before anyone shouts, that was the question asked and I know I could have picked lots of superstars, but some of my suggestions mite just be attainable, if the money was there,, also, and its a big debater, what bout adam returning, we so need someone who can hit a dead ball, yet another dreadful attempt at a free kick today, we must be the only team in the world who tatake a touch at every freekick, giving the wall seconds to break and charge the ball down, I know it was indirect, but ffs allisair put a stop to this waste, we, ve been doing it for years, if its indiect, and you want someone to have a shot, play it square or backwards, don't just touch it and see who gets there first, the wall or the shooter, another wasted again today, nonsense

Agree0 Disagree1

I would sign derek Adams with the money. Les

Agree0 Disagree1

Nice to see a post from someone with a fitba Heidi on his shoulders. Good post Tommy

Agree0 Disagree1

Tommyblue4 " and Ally get's his 10 million " what you reading?
Tam

Tam, the guy was obviously asking wot u would do if it happened m8. , cnt u see that? Tb

Agree0 Disagree1

McCoist has to resign or be sacked long before then!! John F

Agree1 Disagree1

Ha, even if he had 10 million to spend. Why would we spend that much in Div 2? I'd just bring in some experienced Div 1 players. Cheap, no big wages and could do the job. We don't need big SPL wasters on the wage bill.

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd spend it getting a decent youth scouting set-up in place

Agree0 Disagree1

To be honest it won't be easy for the club and fans the way the financial climate is going that's why there are some empty seats not everyone can afford to take the family to the games

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance of £10m, and CG said if we buy our season books it could go up to £30m I right we still await a tin of paint being opened in £9m revamp of ibrox, let's face it the share money is being used as running capital, but won't last forever

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple. Spend about 1m on layers from first div who are good enough to get us promoted. Anyone seen Partick? guys on £200 -£400 a week and 4 or 5 would walk into our team. The rest goes of youth development and scouting. Not hard. That's where money should be spent. And before anyone says it, yes I am a rangers fan. I have watched thistle and its clear they are being well coached, have a clear football strategy and way of playing which is good to watch. That's the difference between a knowledgable mgt team and one who don't have a clue.

Agree0 Disagree0

is ally going to pay for players for provident cheques because there's no money get real bears charlie chuckles is a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

There are a handful of signing that could be made from league 1-2 in England some cracking players on the cheap let's hope scouting get in there before championship and EPL get there first
