I see the spl have announced this sham of an investigation is to continue on 29th january. There is 12 sanctions available to the committee. Anyone know what the 12 sanctions are? (Eventhough the will probably try to use the 13th/ non existant rule again)

Believable46 Unbelievable28

I know one is strip the titles ... that one should be enough any more than that would be a bit much

Agree1 Disagree1

Team sine die - ban for ever from any football.

" The term sine die is not heard too often these days but the last professional footballer to be banned for life in the UK was Glasgow Ranger's Captain William ˜Willie' Woodburn."

team would need be have proven cheating over many years to achieve this

Maybe you should try a lap dancing club ...... That's the only "stripping" your ganna see! LB

Agree2 Disagree0

It really is about time we told the SPL to f**ck right off they have had their fun at our expense. They tried to bring us down and they failed!

Agree2 Disagree0

Anyone think its a bit suss the day after HMRC's verdict in our favour that one of the spl panel 'falls ill', so much so it delays their verdict/investigation for over two months? I think they were expecting us to lose and were gonna be able to hammer us going on HMRC's verdict without having to really prove our guilty but now they actually need to try n build a case. Weve proved these were loans, and were in accounts every year. Good luck to them

Agree3 Disagree1

So the witch-hunt continues!!!

Perhaps once this sham is over, the fans should fill the coffers of the RFF and hire a few 'ambulance-chaser' lawyers to rip this nest of corrupt, bigoted vipers to shreds and DEMAND compensation, not ask...DEMAND.....treat them the same way they have treated us.

Its appears that there are only two sets of fans in Scotland these days....Rangers fans and Rangers haters!!!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Forget about the legalities; the rules are quite clear - All payments associated with football must be disclosed.
Looking forward to a few more title parties!

Agree1 Disagree1

Oh yeah, did anyone find out what happened to the rest of the RFF coffers before you think about swelling them any further?

Agree1 Disagree0

Any money paid to a player other than expenses must be put in the players contract ... money paid into a trust on behalf of the player would come under that category ... the titles are getting took whether it was taxable or not

Agree1 Disagree3

Any money related to playing must be put in a contract and declared. as these have been proved to be loans they are not playing related and dont need to be declared. . . .simples

Agree2 Disagree0

Spl delay was annouced week ago, due to car accident..... this well before hrmc decision, just new date for meeting announced

but why let facts get in the way of good spin...

Agree1 Disagree2

The point everyone is missing the player withdrawing the money was described as a loan but the side notes that stated set amounts of money would be paid in to the fund at set times when the player signed the contract will breach the rules ... notice the wording in the rule ANY money thats paid to a player other than expenses ... that includes contractual loans as the word states... (ANY)

Agree0 Disagree2

The tax tribunal was chaired by a qc the spl hearing will be chaired by a lord thats like asking a plumber to be dictated to by a plumbers mate their is no chance a lord will take any notice of what qc,s say they are as high as they get

Agree0 Disagree0

Spl delay was annouced week ago, due to car accident..... this well before hrmc decision, just new date for meeting announced

but why let facts get in the way of good spin..

as they know the result a couple weeks before public annoucement, would they fake this? anyway whatever happens, everyones hiding now, spl, neil lennon, paul mcstay, etc and the sfa, lets get a statements as leaders of our country, were is the statement supporting a memeber club, in their not guilty verdict with hmrc

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL, they were disclosed, payments to the EBT were disclosed in Rangers annual accounts.

Oh, and if all money's paid must be included in a players contract then bonuses would have to be decided at the start of the contract, yet it's common knowledge that players agree their bonuses at the start of each season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was a case that Rangers Oldco paid into a trust fund as did MIM a fund which provided loans to employees of both companies, Rangers did not give a loan to any player a trust fund did, one which was not exclusive to any company. It was not Gers who decided loans amount or recipient.

Agree0 Disagree1

I hope we never play in the corrupt SPL ever again. This league set up should be disbanded immediately along with Neil Doncaster @ Stewart Reagan (amateurs who are ruining Scottish football). One governing body please led by David longmuir.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Nov 2012 08:42:38
Agreed Regan & Doncaster must go as they are a disgrace. Why Is Longmuir the saviour all of a sudden though? Because he is friendly with Ballantyne & Ogilvie? Brother helping brother is why this mess began!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers didn't register their players nor their individual paperwork correctly with the SPL/ SFA.
One line in Annual accounts mentioning the EBT fund is not player registration!
Alastair Johnston knows this. That's why he says yeah guilty but we'll only get a slap on the wrist. I beg to differ and think he's wrong.
All academic anyway as its old clubs titles and new club has none.

Agree0 Disagree1

The fact is that the SPL are only interested in saving face so they have to act as though there is still a case to answer - pathetic really but they have already spent thousands on getting a panel together etc so that is what is driving them. - Rangers are bigger than this load of rubbish as we have proved all season. - the whole of Yorkshire is behind us by the way....Yorkielad

Agree1 Disagree0

I see at the top of this page there is an advert for jumping nhs queues. thats apt innit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest there's a huge shift in the media description of current Rangers. Suddenly it's a new club. Old rangers destroyed, etc..... Driven off to the morgue...
The SPL investigation will declare CGs club brand new and strip 5 titles from the old club back to 49. No doubt about it.

Agree0 Disagree1

SPL hearing was postponed because Roddy McKenzie QC was badly injured in a car crash in which someone, unfortunately, was killed. The blase attitude of some on here is revolting.
WRT the hearing, whether the EBTs were or were not illegal is immaterial.this is about whether or not any of our players were illegally registered. The SPL rules state ALL payments must be declared on one contract. The FTT ruled that we,RFC, had deliberately withheld info from SPL/SFA,ie,payments were not divulged.this would normally mean an open and shut case.
here's the rub:
We're either a totally new team and the Investigation has nothing to do with us(not true as CG accepted as part of the agreement to let us play this season that TRFC would be liable for any football sanctions levied against Oldco),
or,
We're a continuation of oldco, never liquidated. Therefore automatically liable for anything coming our way.
Some choice.
Think on this:
If I ran a poll on here asking what punishment should be meted out to a club that deliberately played ineligible players for 11 years at home and abroad,I'd bet nearly 100% would say said club should be thrown out of football.
If I ran another poll asking what punishment should be meted out to Rangers for playing ineligible players for 11 years, what do you think the percentage would be?.

Agree0 Disagree0

" Rangers are bigger than this load of rubbish as we have proved all season."
----------------------------------------

Rangers thought they were bigger than HMRC and their creditors, look where that got them. If you chant WATP often enough one starts to believe it, Pavlov had a dog like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you asked Charles Green behind closed doors with no witnesses what he would prefer, stripped titles or any other punishment, he would take stripped titles.

Any other punishment would cost the newco money.

Rangers and Celtic fans are representive of society as a whole, most are reasonable people and a few are complete cretins. The problem is, bigoted people shout the loudest and do the most harm.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pavlov had a dog that chanted WATP?? Holy **** thats the coolest thing ive ever heard! Not only is it a talking dog, but bitter blue one aswell. Is it on youtube?

Agree0 Disagree0

Let the SPL have their sanctions. They'll be a part of history themselves soon. Their land-grab on the SFL smacks of desparation and I really hope the SFL win the battle. Not because I think their plan is better (I actually think the SPL's plan makes for a better league structure) but because SFL's plan is to eradicate the SPL.

If Hearts or another big club falls on rough times, there will be as much power in the SFL as there is in the SPL.

Petition on the go ... Gers v HMRC ...

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/42143

Believable96 Unbelievable87

FFS is there no end to the embarrassment a certain section of our so called supporters won't stoop too? Some of you come across more like Celtic fans than true Rangers fans. Anybody who signs this childish and completely useless childish petition should be banned from Ibrox for life for shaming our club. Show some f###ing dignity or leave the real Rangers fans to carry on supporting our team while you play all your silly wee games with the Celtic fans and their blogging buddies, we might let you back when we are in the SPL if you have grew up and stopped acting like silly wee laddies!!

Larky Bear.

Agree5 Disagree3

Where is the petition that gets back the 14 million stolen from the Queen by Rangers?

Where is the petition that gets the creditors back the millions stolen by Rangers?

No wonder people want your club extinct, truly incredible hubris.

Agree3 Disagree4

Yeah I agree let it go and concentrate on us getting back to spl and eventually champions and back in Europe

Agree1 Disagree1

Agree Larky these petitions are useless

Agree1 Disagree1

Rangers did not go into liquidation because of the big tax case it was because of the little tax case and all the other depts including tiketus . Bot if you listen to all the fans on here you would think they were dept free get a fckn grip

Agree3 Disagree1

Well said Larky from a Celtic fan, its time to move on for everyone.

Agree1 Disagree1

Well said Larky from a Celtic fan, its time to move on for everyone.

you dont need to tell us your a celtic fan it mostly is on here

Agree1 Disagree1

I think it should be a petition for decent Scottish taxpayers against Rangers, do you lot never get it, you didnt win against HMRC you still owe them millions just not as much as they had hoped. i hope when you reach the SPL again the rest of the teams are long gone. its time to strip the titles, sell Murray park and Ibrox stadium and pay off your debts you have been getting away with it for far too long now.

Agree1 Disagree2

So if you want us to pay the debts then you accept we are the same club? Or are we a new club who should pay a different clubs debt? Cone on... You cannot have both

Agree0 Disagree0

Great post larky bear! (The first comment) there does not seem to be no end to the embarrassment that these idiots are bringing on your club! They seem to think that everything is a personal attack against them!! They definatly need to grow the feck up and stop embarrassing the club and the beautiful game!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster getting confused about which club is which! I think it is rangers fans who are making the most of it, with the it's not our debt but we still have all the honors that come with oldco! A case of if you want the recognition for oldco YOU as the new club will have to pay the debts too!
Do you seriously not have a brasser about all this? You call yourself rangers but when asked about the debts is it a case of "oh no we aren't that rangers!" What does that tell you?

Agree0 Disagree0

You choose which club you are,il abide with that

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Nov 2012 10:21:51
Dignity yes ...... Injustice no. The way Rangers have been vilified, discriminated against and the attempts to destroy us is unacceptable and must not go unchallenged. LB

Agree0 Disagree0

That's me signed up gers vs hmrc

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers destroyed themselves, they didn't need anyone else's help.

Its very simple, if you want the history pay the debt.
If you want the membership take your punishment.

If you want the history and the membership, pay your debt and take your punishment.

What you can't have is the history and the membership without paying your debt and taking your punishment.

Membership transfer from oldco to newco does not include history, it dies with the debt.

Agree0 Disagree1

The petition isn't about winning or losing against HMRC, its about all the "confidential" information that was leaked during the case and finding out who done it...

Agree0 Disagree0

Another worthwhile project by the fans of the Champions is on it's way... wait until you see the petition that will be up soon. It won't make any differnece but a Celtic minded MP has stated if people abuse the petitions system ALL petitions involving the matter will be null and void. OOPS!

They Died Chasing Lions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait to see our petition thats going up ... why was oldco allowed to rip off creditors why was the assets sold so cheaply and why can green use the same name what has green bought exactly .... lets get it all out once and for all

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it a petition on behalf of hmrc because there will be an appeal that will drag on for years , and yes i'll sign. shamrock

Agree0 Disagree0

The bottom line is that Scottish football is on a dangerous slide to extinction all they had to do was split the auld firm and the fans, job done, devide and conquer one reason why Scotland has to run its own affairs without English hmrc ruining Oort fitba

Agree0 Disagree0

In reply-
"So if you want us to pay the debts then you accept we are the same club? Or are we a new club who should pay a different clubs debt? Cone on... You cannot have both"

What do you want, pay the debts or keep the history? For me you are a new club who has won zilch.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said larky so f g childish time for us to move on

Agree0 Disagree0

I would put all these petitioners on a list, I certainly want to know where to avoid them.
