no new scott allan bid and he's in hibs squad for tomorrows game stv

Believable10 Unbelievable4

24 Jul 2015 22:00:31
Aye but will he play?

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 22:00:59
if he does play, its his last game,,,don't think he will be playing,if he does it will be his last,,,this transfer has been 'well played' bit of propaganda by both sides. IF sa has put in a request then 'he's gone' already, they can't hold him to it,stubbs wouldna keep him, and if you were sa would you really want to come into training everyday after a request to see stubby face for 10mnth,,,somthin about that coupon is just'''you promise to tell the whole truth n nuffin but the truth.

Heard a small rumour that Rhys McCabe will be signing with Hibs this week. Doesn't he play in allans position?

Believable7 Unbelievable3

24 Jul 2015 13:15:57
I can see this materialising for Hibs A no bad player and will only be personal term and no fee Still young!

Agree5 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 16:16:57
I still think mccabe should have been someone we were looking at, good wee player in a similar mould to Allen

Agree4 Disagree4

25 Jul 2015 14:43:45
He is nothing like Allan,Allan is an attacking midfielder and Rhys McCabe is not.

24 Jul 2015 06:58:08
Sa to hand in transfer request today to seal move to rangers

Believable17 Unbelievable6

24 Jul 2015 07:05:33
And Hibs will reject the request.
He will not be sold to us.

Agree8 Disagree11

24 Jul 2015 08:22:43
mvg180, you can't reject the request. If he wants to leave he hands it in and hibs then realise they need to sell him.

Agree7 Disagree6

24 Jul 2015 08:29:15
If rangers go in with the right money, believe me mvg180,he will indeed be at rangers!no doubt.

Agree7 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 08:56:52
He's finished at Hibs now and will dig his heels in for a move to Rangers. Fee will be £350,000.

Agree7 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 10:02:30
Deffo m8 with you on that one

Agree0 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 10:15:33
He might put in a request, but they don't have to accept it.
He is still under contract for another year, so they can hold him to that if they want.
I think they would be mad to force him to stay though, why keep a player who is unhappy?
I would love to see him come to Rangers, but don't think he will.
If he comes to us then Stubbs is going to look very stupid after the comments he has made.

Hopefully he puts in the request, Rangers bid £350,000, and it gets accepted.
Fingers crossed.

Agree5 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 10:23:43
Hibs have played it perfectly with regards their fans. They've stated he's not for sale and they don't want to sell him to their closet rival in the league. Once he hands in a transfer request and Rangers come back in with a better offer then they blame SA for wanting the move and that it would have been disruptive to keep an unhappy player. SA is the bad guy and the Hibs save face with their fans.

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 10:31:21
I doubt he will play on Saturday if he hands in a transfer request regardless if he signs before then or not lol.

Thats pretty damaging to the hibees midfield. I doubt he would put in a motm performance for a team holding him back against the team he wants to play for :)

Well played by the board/M Warburton

Agree2 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 11:43:41
I agree. There's no chance he will play tomorrow

Agree0 Disagree5

24 Jul 2015 11:49:17
Not according to SSN he hasn't and our two offers are £100k and then £250k hibs value Allen at £1.5m and won't sell to a rival

Agree2 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 12:21:04
Where did you hear Hibs are valuing him at 1.5M Kevin?

Agree3 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 12:28:37
£1.5m- - you must be having a bloody larf mate!
its the Scottish championship, not La Liga.
The guys in the last year of his contract when he can walk away for nothing. 3 or 400k would let Stubbs buy 4 players or more!!
I wouldn't pay over 500k for anyone in the SPL never mind this league.
Wake up - the days of adding an extra zero on when the Gers come calling are long gone.

Agree9 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 12:45:56
Kevin are you having a laugh?

1.5m Do you know how transfers work?

I know exactly what's going to happen with regards to the ongoing transfer

Let's keep it short though

The player will possibly play his last game in Petrofac

Start of next week he will be a Rangers player as Stubbs hands will be forced once Scott Allan hands in his transfer request

The sooner this shambles is over the better, for the mentality of the player and the harmony of the Hibs dressing room

Also, the embarrassment of the initial bids going in from Rangers FC

Test the water that will be right!?

I am a Rangers fan and I'm slightly embarrassed with this now he's a quality player though and it shows with the media frenzy!

Ok he's not Gazza, why all the frenzy? I will tell you why He's Hubs best player and the low bidding has caused all the stir up!

If we are hungry enough show Hibernian the money, afterall, It goes back into a Scottish football team and is good for our sport

In his last year contract

Valuation: £200,000 - £300,000

Dave King time to show the wallet for this one
He is the "marquee" signing the fans want to see

Cough up the £300,000 for Hibs

Agree5 Disagree3

24 Jul 2015 13:41:12
Your all having a laugh SA is at hibs and staying there there's a chance he will sign a 1 year extension on Monday and Rangers would be a backward step for him as for a fee £850k

Agree1 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 13:37:05
Its a statement from hibs on SSN and anyone on here asking "do I know how transfers work?" Is being hypocritical How many of these rumours actually materialize? Few weeks ago we were sighning drogba on a free FFS!! So if you canny read don't shoot the messenger

Agree3 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 13:54:12
I wouldn't agree Kaz. I think Rangers are only doing what every other club does, You try and get the player for as little as you can. And remember just how 'sympathetic' this club and its fans were when we hit the skids. They, along with Celtic, Aberdeen and especially DU (cant even bring myself to mention this lot), were the most scathing. I for one have a long long memory. Yes, we hit the self destruct big style, but the sheer delight felt all over the footballing world in Scotland was difficult to stomach.

Agree2 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 14:06:45
Kaz now I can't say that king has perhaps spent what he said he would but over the years he has personally invested over 20 million million. If you had lost that amount would you be willing to throw money around give the guy a break and stop telling him to spend. And for "time to show the wallet" he already has

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 14:26:38
Yes I know he has already showing the wallet hence why we have the new signings at the club

What I meant was show a bit of steel for this one as this is the one most fans want to see

I think he should go all out and get his man for £300,000

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 14:48:21
Well Noddy, that we know is down to the TV deal we get with Sky bottom line!

TV deals alone has messed up Scottish football

Day and night between our neighbours

The Scottish teams are scraping at the bottom of the barrel as a result, hence why there is small bids here and there

What England gets in comparisons to Scottish clubs with TV rights absolutely boils my blood!

I'd rather not go there it's a total farce!

Agree3 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - best you don't because you are so clueless it is embarrassing. The Premier League and greed is what messed up Scottish football, nothing to do with TV deals. Scottish football ruined its product.}

24 Jul 2015 15:23:46
Yes I know that too well The Lex Gold years

Doesn't hide the fact that we should be getting a better deal than what it is current!

EPL 5b over three years / 20 teams
SPL 65m over three years / currently 12 teams

Many statistic analyst's suggest Scottish Football only get 1/8 of what we SHOULD be given

We should be getting AT LEAST double the deal of what's put in front of us

130M over a 3 year contract

SPL teams should try sanction the best they can with the Old Firm paying the difference!

Therefore it is what it is and there is nothing that can be done

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 15:36:18
Wiiman, the is a strong belief by some on here that King got most of his money back.
Even if he didn't, the difference with investing now is that he himself is pretty much in charge of the club and will be able to protect his investment.
Therefore, none of your partyline arguments stack up.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 15:57:40
Onlyshowaround how can hibs not reject allan transfer request?

What world do you live in? Hibs can do what the hell they like

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 21:20:29
Kaz,we get what people are willing to pay for a poor product. We'll get double that amount when and if the product improves accordingly, its that simple.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Jul 2015 20:44:03
Rangers are still hoping to land stevie may.Rangers team boss Mark Warburton was impressed with the Newburgh lad when he was manager of Brentford and earlier tried to get him on loan.

It's now believed the Gers have made a bid to get May on a permanent deal.(evening telegraph)

Believable5 Unbelievable3

24 Jul 2015 07:40:21
David c I don't know if you've been keeping up to date with these posts recently but that's old news mate dated back at least a month ago. I don't think Stevie May will be coming

Agree3 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 02:05:01
Oh well race is heating up for Rangers to sign Scott Allan

Aberdeen have now showing interest and believed to bid £240,000 all upfront

Rangers had a £200,000 bid with separate installments rebuffed

Just go in with £300,000 and get it over the line

Believable4 Unbelievable3

24 Jul 2015 02:55:38
If Aberdeen are coming in with a offer not much different from ours wel need to bump it up a extra 100-200k or we won't get our man

Agree3 Disagree5

24 Jul 2015 02:51:05
I have read a few of your posts over the past few days and can honsestly say that every time it's basically a shot in the dark guess work

There is absolutely no way that Aberdeen are interested in Scott Allan and there is nothing to suggest there is.

Scott Allan will not sign for Rangers and will join an un named English championship club in January.

Agree3 Disagree6

24 Jul 2015 06:12:44
Even if Hibs did accept their offer, he would still have to actually want to go and agree his own terms! Yous do remember that eh? If he wants the move to us he will wait for it, simple.

Agree5 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 07:27:45
Your right L_M_RFC He wants the Rangers move more I know

I just had a sneaky feeling another club at least was going to join the hunt

Don't think there will be a host of clubs as do think they already think the price north of £200,000 is astronomical for someone with 7 months left on his contract!

Agree4 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 08:53:28
He has 11 months left on his contact Kaz

Agree3 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 13:07:11
Not really Stuart not by the time the season starts proper and the winter breaks are included His contract actually finishes in May so I'm led to believe

Give it 8 months at most

Do the Math

Calculate 8 month between £800,000 value widely quoted by some people

You will soon realise why this is not realistic

Let's put it into perspective, no player in the second biggest league in England (Championship) would fetch near 1m for being in last year contract, which is way better than the Scottish Championship

I can go on more to prove my point but I would feel I'm undermining the player and I don't want to do that because he may prove I'm wrong once he's in a Rangers Jersey

All the hunger and passion to play in a light blue Jersey and all that

I'm going by the logistics of the transfer now and what the current value of the player is at

Now Hibs may know that is the true value, hence why they would rather let him go for free

If player wants to go, then Stubbs and the board has to be precarious, by that I mean looking in the transfer window to see who you can get

I also want the best for Hibs and hope both go up These are the big two that will make the SPL look a better place!

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 15:11:26
What utter nonsense kaz do you even read what your posting? You wouldn't get a million pounds for any player in the championship in the last year of his contract!! Pish , of the top of my head you would get more than that for , rhodes , gestede, will hughes , leadbitter , jelavic , freind , robertson , austin , leroy fer , kranjkar , vargas , elmohamady , snodgrass , are just a few of the players who would sell for well over a millon in the last year of there contract , ffs man city just paid 12 millon to fulham for roberts who had 2 years left on his .

Agree3 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 19:08:43
I like how you mention at the bottom 2 years left on his contract haha that proves my point!

Did I not mention within the last year of their contracts?

Secondly, the ones you mentioned above are top top players and are assets that wouldn't be in a predicament of being in the last year of their contract Do you know why? The clubs would lose out!

I rest my case Now off you pop

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - you really are deluded, Ings is costing Liverpool more than £1m despite being entirely out of contract. Has that escaped your notice? You live in a complete fantasy world Kaz, where everything is the fault of TV. The real world is just nothing like you believe.}

24 Jul 2015 19:25:38
Ings was a Premiership player for Burnley and proved he can play in that League that in itself has put a massive value on the player!

I'm no arguing with you Ed let's just say that's your opinion and this mine

I'm not anti-English but let's just say you pay an arm and leg for an average player Where you can pick up cheaper in the Spanish or German league

Go and deny that English football isn't head and shoulders above the rest!

Exciting it may be but I prefer the Spanish and German league by a country mile

You see how much you pay for a single ticket for a Chelsea game? where you can buy a season ticket for Bayern Munich

Ed you my son are deluded!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - how am I deluded? You are the one who said no player in the English Championship would cost £1m in the final year of his contract, now you are backtracking because you are being proven wrong. I really don't care about the rest, it makes no odds to me which league you prefer, the point was you were wrong.

Now what on earth is the ticket prices to do with anything? You are losing the plot.}

24 Jul 2015 19:47:55
Yeah and I'm backing it up by saying that Ings is a top player who played in the Premiership just last year and proved he is a Premiership player!

I went on to say that English football is the most expensive seat in town and that an average player you would pay over the odds

Both those leagues Spanish and German is better on every level

Treat the fans better for a start and the football is as good if not better

You can also buy an average player for cheaper than you would in England

English football is the most expensive and probably the most exciting but this doesn't mean it is the best and imo it's not!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he had one season in the Prem, but his team are in the Championship now, so how is that relevant? Even less relevant is your inane grumblings about the price of English footie and the pointless digs about how the Spanish and German footie is better. It is nothing to do with the fact you were wrong and now you are off on one of your pathetic anti-English rants to try and change the subject. I really have no interest in this discussion, I was just pointing out you were wrong about a player having one year left being priced at less than a £1m, as many are priced much higher.}

24 Jul 2015 20:05:51
Sorry Fab1 and Ed I take it back

You guys are right that a player can fetch 1m in the final year of their contract down in the English Championship, saying that, it rarely happens like that as anybody with value will have a few years left on their contract

I guess I've been getting a little bit too excited with the latest activities involving Rangers

It's been a while since Rangers done anything

It is just a small fraction of what Rangers used to be in the transfer market and those days are long gone

Still exciting nevertheless

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - thank you, that was all I was talking about.}

24 Jul 2015 20:11:22
Who would you rather go see for value Chelsea or Bayer Munich

To me that's a no brainer

Bayern are the better team especially with how much you can go see them for!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I am a Liverpool fan, I would choose whoever was facing them, I have little interest in German football per se. I love football in general, but I would choose Chelsea as it has some impact on how Liverpool do, whereas I can't stick 'FC Hollywood' to be honest. I would happily go along to watch the Bundesliga but not Bayern.}

24 Jul 2015 20:37:34
Just had a look at patrick roberts profile page and it turns out his contract with fulham ran until june 2016 so he Was in the last year of his contract when city paid 12 million for him , 12 times the amount you said no one would pay for a player in the last year of his contract , kaz think that is what you call being clamped , lol .

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 21:19:10
Posted that before your last post was put up , that is all I was saying it made no sense m8.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jul 2015 11:08:14
I know Fab1 your right bud

Patrick Roberts is very young just 17 so value is there

The thing is, he at that age is just pure potential and hasn't proved nothing yet!

Think he went for 6m and not 12m

Fab1 still a lot of money though
