According to bbc we have had bid accepted for 16 year old ross county striker second name graham.

24 May 2020 12:24:00
Why a 16year old.

24 May 2020 13:11:20
Bid has been accepted, personal terms a problem!, he will go south.

24 May 2020 15:09:40
Diger why not. However, apparently this lads father asking fo 4K a week to sign for us.

24 May 2020 15:37:46
another billy Gilmour. greedy parents lol.

24 May 2020 16:34:38
It’s Jamse Graham, he is an exciting young talent I’ve seen him a few times he’s really quick, likes to take his man on and has a decent eye for goal. But 4K a week for potential is far too much he may have got that from Utd but they clearly didn’t think he was good enough. Like I say I’ve seen him and he’s impressive but I would imagine we have 16 year olds of a similar ilk.

24 May 2020 16:48:50
4k a wk stop interest then.

24 May 2020 17:21:53
Absolutely stop interest. Problem is that money south of the border is loose change.

24 May 2020 17:37:37
Disappointing but If he does not want to join us let the boy go elsewhere. Hopefully he will not live to regret the decision.

24 May 2020 19:21:58
Oaft, 4 grand a week for a 16 year old boy. When I started my apprenticeship at 16 as a toolmaker, I earned £42 per week.

24 May 2020 19:44:37
Look at billy Gil our went to Chelsea fo 8k a week. He did not get this to 17 birthday, wonder what he will be on next season.

24 May 2020 20:38:31
His father is going about it all wrong if he is just thinking about who will pay the biggest salary, at this moment he should be encouraging his son to concentrate on his development, at that age money should be secondary the big money comes when you have "made it as a player" and not before, if he doesn't like it then go elsewhere.

24 May 2020 22:09:52
Totally agree Jetmayfair maybe his father doesn’t believe in his ability, 4K a week for 3 or 4 years is a great start in life even if he didn’t “make it” he’d be 20 years old with no mortgage and probably a good wedge left in the bank if he was sensible. The trouble with giving that sort of money to children is it’s quite easy to lose your way when you’ve got a nice car and a fat pocket.

24 May 2020 22:17:46
Hopefully he will gain some sense and sign for us.

25 May 2020 01:39:40
Heard he is now going to Leeds.

25 May 2020 03:10:54
Can’t say I know much about the boy except that Liverpool are the team down south that are showing the most interest in him. Hopefully get him signed up.

24 May 2020 10:41:55
Dsgerfan, if we sign a 16 yr old you can be gareenteed he is for use further down the line, we have been signing youngster for a while now (this lasy wee while back) so its obvious we've got good young players ready to take there chance, when there time comes, mate.

25 May 2020 11:36:40
Graham's old man should check how many clubs in England are about to go paps up. 50 league clubs were desperately trying to find a buyer before the current disaster God only knows how many they are going to lose down there now. If it's all about money forget about him, I've worked in Leeds (rumoured interest) and it's a shocking dump. on ye go pal, take the family.

25 May 2020 14:19:47
When is last time we gave a chance to a 16 year old? gerrard brought in hastie doherty and polster and they haven't been given a chance never mind some of our supposedly brilliant talented kids. Does anybody know when our latest wonder kid charlie lindsay is going to get a chance?

25 May 2020 14:34:46
6 counties lest start them next Celtic game. Then u can come on and say why they getting played so soon.

25 May 2020 19:51:44
6counties, probably some time after he actually arrives at Ibrox to begin his employment?

25 May 2020 20:24:39
As general point think our performance at getting our academy players thru the ranks and into 1st team squad is not good enough. Really want Ross McCrorie in 1st team squad this season and 3 or 4 others pushing for a place.

25 May 2020 21:03:33
Completely agree Bankie. Looking at clips of McCrorie 3 years ago and he looked the real deal and a true competitor but had to work on his touch and distribution.

He is worth a place in the squad and if he has not developed in the last 2 years then it’s down to him. I would like nothing better than for him to become the next Gers skipper but he has to prove he is good enough. If he does leave I think he will be a John Fleck and develop over time.

24 May 2020 10:18:45
Rangers looking to bring in vaclav hladyk from st mirren with big wes leaving this summer.

24 May 2020 13:33:08
Definitely need to sign an experienced keeper to compete with and push McGregor. McGregor needs to step up and return fitter and competitive, thought he looked vulnerable before lockdown.

24 May 2020 15:12:23
Bankie, mcgregor is one of fittest players we have. His issue is severe arthritis in wrists and hands. Hence reason to give up Scotland career.
I’d say he is still better than rest in Scotland for now
I think this will be his last season with us.

24 May 2020 16:41:33
John25, I love the big man but think he is definitely past his best. He was never a keeper who dominates his box or collect cross balls, but he was always mobile and a great shot stopper. Last season he was slower to get down to make saves and his Distribution kicking was leas effective. This is a massive season and all I’m saying is that our number 1 goalkeeper is past his best. Think of Chris Woods or Goram at their best, they were virtually invincible and inspired confidence. Many very good goalkeepers available and we should get one in and not be afraid to drop McGregor.

24 May 2020 17:22:57
Who would u bring in to go straight to first team bankie.

24 May 2020 17:41:08
Think Joe Lewis from the sheep would be a great signing as a No 1. I still think McGregor is fantastic but did think he was just beginning to dip in the second half of the season.

Think Joe Lewis has been one of the best in this league for a while now.

24 May 2020 18:40:27
Sorry to say, Alan McG did appear to be on the slide a wee bit. (Saved us as well on a few occasions in Europe mind)
Lewis and Hladky would both be No 1 IF they can be consistent- not the first time the move to Rangers has been too much for some!

24 May 2020 18:47:10
Have to say I think shagger is the best goalkeeper in Scotland still. Is he at his peak? No, probably not.
Think we have his ready made replacement in mccrorie.

24 May 2020 18:50:32
John25, TBH not sure, have not thought enough about it or reviewed the options. Over the years a number of teams in Scotland have signed keepers, usually from England on loan, who have equipped themselves extremely well in the SPL. Ruddy, Schmiechell and Foster all spring to mind, all of whom played for their country. Most English teams have 4 top class keepers with the number 2 in particular in need of a pathway to top class football. I honestly don’t think it would be a difficult search. Also likely attractive options available in Dutch, Polish leagues.

24 May 2020 19:42:08
John is bang on re McGregor. I posted this in the summer after talking with a couple of leading Scottish Football medics who were doubtful he’d see out this season. If we get the new season we’ll do well. Need a keeper who is ready to play at the drop of a hat.

24 May 2020 19:45:35
Tend to agree with u bankie.

25 May 2020 11:01:18
I would say anyone that’s good enough to knock shagger straight off his perch will cost us a fair bit, gk is a specialist position and it’s not easy playing for a big club, where you dominate games and don’t have a lot to do then are called on late in the game having been a spectator for most of it and still produce the goods.
