It’s Jamse Graham, he is an exciting young talent I’ve seen him a few times he’s really quick, likes to take his man on and has a decent eye for goal. But 4K a week for potential is far too much he may have got that from Utd but they clearly didn’t think he was good enough. Like I say I’ve seen him and he’s impressive but I would imagine we have 16 year olds of a similar ilk.

Oaft, 4 grand a week for a 16 year old boy. When I started my apprenticeship at 16 as a toolmaker, I earned £42 per week.

His father is going about it all wrong if he is just thinking about who will pay the biggest salary, at this moment he should be encouraging his son to concentrate on his development, at that age money should be secondary the big money comes when you have "made it as a player" and not before, if he doesn't like it then go elsewhere.

Totally agree Jetmayfair maybe his father doesn’t believe in his ability, 4K a week for 3 or 4 years is a great start in life even if he didn’t “make it” he’d be 20 years old with no mortgage and probably a good wedge left in the bank if he was sensible. The trouble with giving that sort of money to children is it’s quite easy to lose your way when you’ve got a nice car and a fat pocket.

Dsgerfan, if we sign a 16 yr old you can be gareenteed he is for use further down the line, we have been signing youngster for a while now (this lasy wee while back) so its obvious we've got good young players ready to take there chance, when there time comes, mate.

Graham's old man should check how many clubs in England are about to go paps up. 50 league clubs were desperately trying to find a buyer before the current disaster God only knows how many they are going to lose down there now. As general point think our performance at getting our academy players thru the ranks and into 1st team squad is not good enough. Really want Ross McCrorie in 1st team squad this season and 3 or 4 others pushing for a place.

Completely agree Bankie. Looking at clips of McCrorie 3 years ago and he looked the real deal and a true competitor but had to work on his touch and distribution.
He is worth a place in the squad and if he has not developed in the last 2 years then it’s down to him. I would like nothing better than for him to become the next Gers skipper but he has to prove he is good enough. If he does leave I think he will be a John Fleck and develop over time.
