Read there that Galataseray are preparing a £3.5m for Joe Aribo, if they think that is anywhere near enough to buy big Joe then they're sadly mistaken.

24 May 2021 17:21:08
Aye right what a joke 😂😂

certainly can’t be true.

24 May 2021 17:55:17
Think they only want to sign his left foot by the looks of it.

24 May 2021 18:01:58
3.5 mil would be an insult.

24 May 2021 18:35:01
Double it and its a deal👍.

24 May 2021 18:44:40
Surely it’s a transfer fee and £3.5m add ons?

24 May 2021 18:45:56
If this is the article reportedly in the Daily Record then I’d pay no attention, they are just as much an absolute gutter rag like The Sun, devaluing our players at every whim while bummin up the other side of the cities dross! It’s time we got some journo’s on board to play up our players, you only have to look at a piece put together on Twitter regarding Stevie G’s appointment to see the media bias! We as fans have a duty to over inflate their prices, I see that lot claiming excessive amounts in their valuations of their players and they all buy in to it together where we seem to see a valuation of a player by a fellow fan with the response “No way is he worth that” It’s the one thing they get right that we don’t seem to when it comes to our assets!

24 May 2021 18:59:11
Try trebling that! Gone are the days where we need to let our top players leave for a pittance.

24 May 2021 19:59:00
Young player with huge future in the game and a Nigerian internationalist - would have thought about 8 million - 3.5 mill would be taking the piss.

24 May 2021 20:40:24
Wouldn't buy the big fella's toenail.

24 May 2021 20:55:39
That wouldn't buy there team a xmas turkey dinner.

24 May 2021 21:06:27
Joe aribo would be worth a very minimum of £15m based on current ability and his massive potential IMO also think he’s one of Gerrards favourites, I personally would not sell him at any price.

24 May 2021 21:22:11
Aribo so easily a £10-£12m player. he’ll likely go to the epl in the next 2 seasons for that price IMO
No way is that going to happen.

24 May 2021 21:23:22
Whatever the price Aribo doesn't strike me as the kind of lad who wants to go to Turkey.

24 May 2021 21:49:09
£7m for Joe Aribo would be the steal of the century👍.

24 May 2021 23:25:42
🤣🤣🤣 So humiliating Galatasary should be embarrassed by that bid to be honest

Joe Aribo is at least 14m as it stands

I mean Joe Aribo can play in the EPL with ease and if he had a decent season his value would be an easy 40m as this is how much an average player goes for in the EPL

3.5m is nothing but a kick in the face for Rangers and Aribo

I mean the owner of that club must be on crack!

25 May 2021 07:52:52
I never used to take much notice of people saying papers talk down our side vs celtic, but recently I've read that a team are offering 3.5m for turnbull who's had a supposedly 'stellar season', and 3.5 fr aribo who's 'featured in europe'.
I am with you guys. Journo bullish! t.

25 May 2021 09:35:46
Calm down on the thinking that two bob journos can change a players value. Buying clubs don’t look at the daily record

And a fans don’t influence the price either, us fans putting “ high valuations “ every single day about the same players with some people upping they’re “ price “ every couple of days is boring

The people in charge of buying and selling are professional

The journos have nothing else to write, doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but it’s strange that the very people who come on here and absolutely destroy the papers seem to know every that’s in it.

25 May 2021 10:54:54
I would take 3.5 million for Aribo. That's about accurate current value if they want him on a years loan. ( how many of you were screaming at your scream thinking this guys nuts lol)
On a serious note I would love us to keep hold of our key players. Personally I would take bids for hellander, hagi, itten, roofe possibly if offer was decent and all 1st team players out on loan. I believe that these players could be replaced with players of same calibre and we could balance the books at the same time. Hoping to see a bit more of our academy boys during pre season the likes of King, mayo, Kennedy, Kelly, Middleton. Some decent prospects coming through just now and hoping at least a couple could step up save us some money. Looking forward to seeing the boy Kelly as had a decent season out on loan, same with Middleton and Kennedy. Not saying 1st picks but possibly squad players.

25 May 2021 14:28:05
Just paper BS no chance Aribo goes.

25 May 2021 15:28:29
In todays market i'd say Aribo could fetch atleast £10m.

Full nigeria internation, good age and still a couple of years on contract.

I think the days of us letting players go for cheap is over and i trust ross wilson to get good fees for anyone who does leave.

25 May 2021 16:26:47
It was definitely 3.5 mil and I think that’s a good price and we should grab it with both hands if it’s just for his boots .?
We can always buy him another pair 😐.

25 May 2021 18:05:38
£10m plus
If Morelos is anything to go by we won’t sell assets on the cheap. At his age his value is only going to go 1 way, it’s likely that his agent is drumming up interest to get a new deal which will increase his value.
We need our top players to perform in Champions league to maximise their value tbh.

26 May 2021 17:45:08
Transfer market value him at 3.5 million but I read somewhere that rangers value him upwards of 10 million. To be honest out of our starting 11 with aribo in midfield 3 with kamara and Davis and Hagi in front 3 with Alfie and Kent you would only get mcgregor, Davis and hellander for under 10 million just now.

24 May 2021 09:21:28
See there a lot of headlines regarding Bochum wanting Hagi

Does anyone know if any real substance to it? And how much there willing to pay if true?

24 May 2021 10:26:37
Not sure they would have the money or appeal to lure him away.

I think we would be looking for around £15m before going to the table.

24 May 2021 10:45:39
Im going to go way naw they can't afford him and hagi will want to be playing in europe either europa league or champions league bochum offer neither and really cannot see them having 15-20 million to buy him either.

24 May 2021 11:23:22
They have just been promoted to top league in Germany so potentially they could fund a transfer. If we could sell hagi and have money for the Dutch CM with money left over for me that woukd be excellent business for us.

24 May 2021 12:06:27
Sure I read hagi has a sell on fee and that he has a release clause of 10 million.

24 May 2021 14:03:30
Doesn’t matter a jot what anyone thinks Bochum can afford,

If they can afford, then they can afford,

Hagi will travel through Europe like a ploom.

24 May 2021 16:20:32
I can’t see us selling for any less than £10m, the thing is though with hagi’s impressive numbers this season he very well could come on in terms of performances next season and has every chance of being our best player. It’s a pity Gerrard won’t play with him in a more central role as that’s without doubt where he is most impressive and does his best work.

I don’t know much about Bochum, do they have a rich Owen we behind them? As if they do that could sway it but if there just going to be battling relegation I don’t see him accepting going there. Not when he’s linked with Sevilla and lazio, I believe 1 more year with us we could get £15m for him next summer. I’d be going to the euros with Romania? I don’t know if they qualified.

24 May 2021 17:31:59
Aribo for 3.5m don’t insult us.

25 May 2021 12:02:39
I would sell hilander hagi kamara morelos barasic possibly aribo before their value drops.
