Just goes to show, how much rubbish these newspapers write, regarding how danny wilson missed last night's game, against Aberdeen! Murty stated today, that wilson WASN'T DROPPED and was indeed injured! Murty went on to say that danny wilson remains in talks with rangers, over a new longterm contract!

Danny wilson without question now, is a future rangers captain! He's now playing superbly and showing everyone that he's kicking on again and fulfilling his promise to when he was an outstanding youth prospect!

I now hope that wilson signs a new contract to stay with us! We've all got to remember, that wilson is still only 26 years old! He could potentially be our centre half mainstay, for another 10 years, injury permitting!

Danny Wilson is a player I like but in my head for some reason I feel he should be much better. Maybe it was the early promise he showed or the fact Liverpool snapped him up at such a young age but I feel he just has never reached or will realise his potential.

Its Danny Wilsons Agent that has started all of this by trying to get Dannys Wages bumped up higher not Danny He was determined to sign a long deal with Rangers and still does but Like i said its his agent he knew nobody down in England would want him for big wages down in England as he flopped down there before so he put Dannys name about America when we were over in Florida knowing the MLS teams have money to throw about on wages like Candy, i just hope Danny Tells his Agent to get lost or Drop it and continues to sit down and agree a contract with Rangers, after all that's where he wants to be, just hope its not to late and Rangers have took final offer off the table and now he doesn't have an option, i said way back that Alves wages would cause a problem amongst players renewing there contracts and also it dosent help a 32 year old Martin is on better wages at Rangers than Danny is on and was getting offered either and a 36 year old Alves on over 30 Grand a week, its even messing with Bates head aswell on his offer of a new contract, like i said when we found out how much Alves really was on a week i knew and said there would be trouble and unsettlement amongst others.

Sorry Alex1971, I can’t agree! Danny Wilson is a big boy and is perfectly capable of making his own decisions. His agent is there to advise, not tell him where to play his football. As far as your argument about wages is concerned, Wilson has achieved absolutely nothing in the game and shouldn’t be comparing what he earns to anyone, let alone a player of Alves’ stature.

Wilson has already left Rangers once, he has been given a second chance to play for us again and looks like he is choosing to leave again! Let him go and good riddance.

Apart from the month of December last year he has been absolutely garbage (short memory some people) since he came back so he should be jumping at the chance of an contract extension on the same wages as he’s getting now, not holding Rangers to random for even more money!

Lets be honest, Wilson's career has been stop start since he left Rangers the 1st time round. He takes for granted the honour it is to play for our club. Growing up he was a Celtic supporter and used to wear Celtic stuff under his Rangers training stuff because he didn't want the badge to touch his skin. Says it all.

Everyone seriously needs to get a grip, is it a great honour to play for Rangers? Absolutely.! I’d give anything to do so but at the end of the day money talks. Football is a very short career so why should the lad or any player not try and earn as much money as possible!? If someone offered me 5k a year more in my job let alone 5k a week I’d jump at the chance and most folk would do the same.!

Further more, the guy is getting absolute pelters for something that’s not even happened yet and might not.! Until Rangers say he’s away I’ll believe nothing that’s said in the media.

We are all passionate and love the club as supporters I get that but some people seriously need to simmer down.!

I could be wrong, but I think your the only one that's used the word conspiracy. Its not just the sports desks but newspapers in general write sensationalist lies to keep themselves in a job. My father who has since retired, was a journalist so I have had the displeasure of meeting most of these slimy creatures. Sadly there are very few good newspaper men left, which has absolutely nothing to do with their allegiances. As it happens the majority of the sports desks do now lean in their direction but there is no conspiracy to my mind. The only difference is when they're trying to flog Celtic players they try to bump up the price. No conspiracy they're just horrible persons.

Docherty has now officially signed on a 4 and a half year contract, for undisclosed fee, but I can tell you its £680,000 with a really high sell on fee of 25% Which i personally would never had agreed on if i was Rangers, surely we could of or must of tried to get that sell on fee down to 10% or 20% Max

The sell on fee is irrelevant. We've got a promising youngster signed on a 4 year deal for a snip at just under 700k. If clubs want him in the future if he performs well then we'll make money and Hamilton will get a cut, we certainly won't lose on that nominal outlay.

What I don't get is the rumoured fee. We offered £300K, they wanted £600K, and we paid £650 - £700k.

We were giving stick for going in too low, and end up paying (if true) more than they originally wanted - with a sell-on fee as well. It doesn't look good.

I broke the news about Danny WIlson's agent touting him to MLS teams twice earlier in the season. I'm hearing the club are unhappy about how actively his agent is pursuing an exit. I guess he's only doing his job but I'd like to see the big man stay! He's been great this season and will only get better as he continues to grow.

He’s been decent of late but ultimately he’s not good enough in my opinion. Good squad player definitely, but he is often caught out, all over the shop against Kilmarnock recently.

Played well in the Old Firm game and has chipped in with his fair share of goals! Like I said, great back up CB but I think we need better in the starting 11 to catch Celtic in the coming seasons.

Fair assessment, can't argue with that. Thought Martin and Bates were brilliant tonight. I think Wilson can still prosper at Ibrox but if he chooses to move on we've got Bates, McCrorie, Alves and Cordoso to come in. Its just whichever one fits with Martin best. Bates certainly making himself difficult to drop after Celtic/ Aberdeen displays. More of the same please. Competition for places allover the park.

Remember how this started I just said Hamilton had been ripped off for the best part of a million but survived that, could we if it happened on the same scale someone ripping us off for £40m (I'm saying we are 40 times bigger) . my glass is always half full bears and am delighted at business we’ve done in this window espesh if docherty signs - from what i’ve seen he looks a box to box dynamo!

am also delighted with how murty has turned the team
round in terms of their desire and togetherness hunting the ball down and playing at high tempo

got to disagree on martin tho he was not brilliant - it was only his first game fair dos, but he’s not commanding enough in the air hardly won any headers and that’s a worry

if bruno can get fit and danny sort out a new deal i'd be happier with them in team although bates also had a cracking game last night

If anyone on here has information about £70m being ripped off/ embezzled during C Green tenure please come forward and state your case. C Green was in charge for less than a year and the most we took in this period would be £35m-40m.
