I really do think there's a wee ace up Gerrard sleeve bears, think about previous seasons, there's been money there to spend, even start of last season when we were buying helander and Kent, I reckon there's a decent wee budget there, maybe not as big due to the cv but with the singing of the defender on a free just makes me think there's a new striker being readied right now, hope so anyway, I'm constantly on reloading the rangers news in anticipation.

My opinion is Gerrard has had enough of Morelos and wants him sold and in return gets the full selling price for new players. I also think Barasic will be sold. So 15million for Morelos, 12milliin for Barasic, now that's a healthy budget.

Well lads, Stevie G has just started he took Morelos off in case he got injured or a silly suspension. That last bit tells me he doesn’t trust his temperament, in which case he’ll be off.

Morelos looks like he can’t be bothered half the time just now. If he was still with us after the window closes I’d expect him to improve but our issue is we have a lot of big games before that. He doesn’t look as fit or hungry as the rest of the squad. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if we end up playing Kent, Hagi and Barker as a 3 with no fit out and out striker.

Use your head. If morelos was gone we'd have signed a striker by now. You don't just sell your main asset and replace him a week from start of the season when its clear that kent morelos hagi have these new roles withen the team think how long it will take for a new striker to get use to the movement and what is required for this play style and i will assure you Roofe is not the answer.

everyone commenting how important Morelos has been, i've been saying he's garbage and been proved right. How many has he scored in pre season? Less than Joe Aribo! How many has he scored in an old firm? Less than Katic! Hardly an irreplaceable player! He is over rated big time and i get the cringe when he tries to shoot from an angle that you would think twice about crossing from. He is detrimental and and a huffy wee prick. The reason he hasn't left is because nobody is daft enough to bid when there is 15million quoted everywhere. Not even worth £15.

Morelos always get it 29 goals last season how do you replace that, his work rate can not be questioned his hold up play bringing others into goal scoring positions is priceless to how we play, his body strength is great so while I agree he has problems with temperament to say he can be bothered is crazy when you see how disappointed he was to come off tells you he wants to play, he is a very important player to us and I for one hope he stays for next season with the addition of another striker preferably a target type player (Dykes) which would give us another option against teams who sit in as our full backs have been top class so far and their crosses class but I’m no manager it’s only my thoughts.

Twacoos You are correct, The way Morelos plays and his work rate is unquestionable. If Rangers were to sell I very much doubt he would be replaced for anything under 25 million. Me personally not so sure about Dykes, Yes maybe a target man, But surely there is better abroad or even English lower divisions, If Dykes does sign he will have my full support the same as everyone that pulls on that Famous blue football top, But they don’t escape criticism either, 🏴🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.
