Strange that all the loanees are playing again tonight, but our own young players are on the bench? You’d almost think these guys are contracted to play?

25 Oct 2018 23:36:18
Hollow, because loaners are better players.

25 Oct 2018 23:41:23
maybe its because the loanees are better than the players we own?

26 Oct 2018 06:26:57
Obviously another troll account, likely the same guy as 'gerforlife'

26 Oct 2018 09:07:26
Im reading this on here and on other sites about the huge number of loanees we have starting - Last nights line up Mcgregor (owned), Tav (owned) Goldson (owned) Flannigan (owned) Jack (owned) Candeias (owned) Morelos (owned) - that's 7 out of 11 - The 4 loan players are Worral - he could easily be replaced by Katic who has huge potential but Worral currently in better form Coulibaly has been fantstic this season and Ejaria who was excellent last night, we do have players who can replace them and they have had game time but Arfield was injured and Rossiter not at full fitness were unavailable - we also have Mcrorie who is a fine player but not better than the others at this stage and lastly Ryan Kent, Our best player in recent times and maybe the best in the SPFL if he keeps it up, we are also blessed with Middleton who is an exciting prospect but would you honeslty not play Kent in the cureent form? We have a great squad and people are complaining about it - Unreal!

26 Oct 2018 09:30:31
Rossiter is not registered for European games.

26 Oct 2018 10:25:02
lol troll account. just cause opinions differ from yours. I've followed gers for 41 years. don't get me wrong if gers win title this year ill be over the moon. and forgive all. but i just can't see it. and then at end of the season most of these players will go and we will be in a worse position to stop the manky mob. seriously would you rather give rossitier or mccrorie a shout.

26 Oct 2018 10:25:36
mccrorie eligable for euro due to age and youth develope player.

26 Oct 2018 10:31:52
i agree the loans have been great. ejaria was unsure to begin with but he seems to grow into games as players are tiring and has a little trickery in him. worral commanding when ball on deck a little weak in air. kent awesome. and coulibaly awesome. and i'd try push sign last two perm. if guys like mccrorie and middleton going to improve they should either start against teams like hamilton or give them earlier appearances in ibrox games we are winning.

26 Oct 2018 10:37:00
ivlarkgraham

if you look back on my previous posts i'm the same guy who stuck up for morelos start of season when you were all on his back (better stats than mCCOIST)

AND NOW YOU ALL LOVE HIM

SO WHO WAS RIGHT

im not saying i'm right about Stevie G. HOPE i'm WRONG. but my opinion so far.

26 Oct 2018 10:38:01
Agree Grezda needs time he was out injured when we signed so give him a chance. looks a good player on youtube but hey most do.

26 Oct 2018 10:39:41
still think we need battering ram forward lafferty close but someone a bit tougher. and a davis like central midfielder.

26 Oct 2018 11:04:30
look at our previous home wins stmirren dundee stjohnstone all bottom half ill give you hearts. ill say sorry if we can keep beating teams like hibs aberdeen celtic at home and pick up some good away wins against top half not fodder teams.

26 Oct 2018 12:11:22
There’s nothing between Middleton and Kent, Katic and Worrall other than a contract which stats these player must play in Europe and the old firms. How do we expect to sign good young players (which we need to flip within a few years in order to make money) if these guys won’t play in bigger games? Let’s be honest, Kent and Ejaria aren’t premiership players and will end up in the championship or league one. Worrall was the 5th centre half in a mid table championship team. I’m not against the loanees being here, they will add value but it has to be a level playing field for our own players.

26 Oct 2018 13:21:19
Hollow - what a waste of a post- obviously the wife not letting you speak again! Nothing between Middleton and Kent - about the length of paisley road west! . I like Middleton but a young lad learning his trade and one for the future. contracts that say they must play in Europe and old firm - only one man decides and that is our manager. Re worrell - again the manger trusts him above everyone and that’s why he is playing - simple as that. I am over the moon with our progress, in the mix for the league and TOP of our europa group not forgetting about semi final of league cup. Our manager and his back room staff have done a wonderful job - some have a short memory!

26 Oct 2018 14:32:50
@hollow55 - so you’ve seen the actual contracts? Stop acting like a Tim. If you aren’t you’ve an opinion like the rest of us but not a very good one I’ll give you that!

27 Oct 2018 03:08:51
Gersforlife. Why are you talking to me about Morelos! I've never said a bad word about him.

27 Oct 2018 09:41:41
It'll be interesting to see the clauses in the contracts to see if any actually have a chance of signing permanently and at what fee.

Based on form to date, I think we'd need a large chunk, if not all of next season transfer budget to sign them.

Ojaria- settling well. Still think more to come. £2m?
Coulibally- started on fire. Still to get back to that. £1.5m?
Kent- Getting better and better. £2m?
Worrel- best game against spartac. £7m?

Think we'll maybe get 1 of these guys. Still be a bit of tinkering next season too, which is better than the wholesale changes in previous seasons.

27 Oct 2018 14:22:51
There's no option on any of them.

27 Oct 2018 14:25:22
To clarify, I mean there's no pre-agreed signing option. I'm not saying that a permanent transfer is out if the question. Except for Worall because his current club valuation is too high for us. Don't know what the others are valued at.

27 Oct 2018 18:33:54
Kent was valued at 7mill last year when Bristol wanted him. I think unfortunately your values rather conservative
Forrest turned down 11 million in January from murnley in January.

28 Oct 2018 12:11:59
Think we'll always have a few loan players, if that's the fees involved.

I suppose that's how the system is supposed to work, if you can't afford the fee and they improve your team.

Just leaves a gap to be filled at the end of the season.

25 Oct 2018 22:11:07
I know he missed a last gasp chance but this is in no way the reason for my post but I fail to see what Grezda actually brings to the team. He may just lack confidence and familiarity with his team-mates but I feel we have wasted money that could have been spent elsewhere. However I genuinely hope he proves me wrong in the weeks to come.

25 Oct 2018 23:02:02
Give the boy some time for godsake! He's barely kicked a ball for us and your slating him already. All of Gerrards signings so far have been decent so I see no reason why he won't come good. If he gets a chance at hampden on a nice big pitch I think we'll see a better player.

Let's not be negative about tonight. Yes we could of won the game but did we honestly think at the start of the season that we would even be in the europa league group stage? Let alone joint top of the group after the half way mark. Things are looking good. Onwards to the semi final now!

25 Oct 2018 23:02:51
Judge the lad when he is up to speed in fitness the lad is some way off.

26 Oct 2018 08:06:56
Same people wondered why we got Kent Ejaria Wirral and wanted rid of Morelos!
Patience guys, he is still recovering from ankle op, and was out for 6 months!

26 Oct 2018 09:32:06
Daily Rag has Jack as the best rated player last night.
Thoughts bears.

26 Oct 2018 10:41:03
fraser54 nice one.

26 Oct 2018 10:44:25
I’m not slating Grezda and completely understand it’s early days but when Kent arrived you could see he was a bag of tricks and Ejaria had a fantastic touch but I’ve not seen Grezda try to beat a man and in his previous appearances he was finding himself in positions beside other players and to me looked lost.
For the avoidance of any doubt I wish the lad all the best and support him whenever he pulls on the jersey but this is just my opinion.

26 Oct 2018 10:54:48
HE HAS ONLY PLAYED 80 MINS IN BLUE. GIVE HIM A BREAK.

26 Oct 2018 13:43:47
out of curiosity how many games has rossiter played since 2014 not many i'm willing to be injury prone and useless. if you can't live up to READY then you should'nt be a gers player this boy been at gers 2 years or so how many games or even minutes he played.

26 Oct 2018 20:05:10
How much has he played? About half an hour. He’s been injured for months. Ye it looked like a poor choice to bring him on as he was miles off the pace but I’m sure he’ll come good. Only Sadiq has failed to impress out of 15 signings.

25 Oct 2018 20:54:44
Very professional 1st half we look solid I hope we're working on background to see if we can buy Kent, boy gets better each time I see him. one thing I can't work out given how good Tav is with a dead ball his corner taking is poor seems to struggle to beat first man it's a strange one but that's me nit picking delighted so far.

26 Oct 2018 09:35:35
I said the same about Tavs crosses and set pieces -most are overhit. We need to play someone beyond the back post to get them or change the kicker.

25 Oct 2018 15:17:47
Some of these sports reporters are really trying to mix it up concerning the Rangers teams past and present, trying to get Stevie G to compare his team to Walters. thank goodness they got short shrift from him. At least we are now in the position to be asked these questions, different than a few seasons ago, nobody wanted to interview our managers, just ridicule them.

26 Oct 2018 12:29:54
Also pi**ing me off a bit, when players we haven't heard of during the 'bad' times are rolled out for comments e. g Dave McPherson, Steven Pressley? , suddenly there's money to be made in the Gers again :-) _.

25 Oct 2018 15:13:09
I’m sure McKay would come back, he hasn’t actually set the heather on fire at his other clubs, only problem is, he wouldn’t get his place, and his attitude wouldn’t suit Stevie G.

25 Oct 2018 18:58:44
Wouldn’t want him back personally.

25 Oct 2018 19:13:27
He'd fit with our current play style 0%. He bottled out every 50/ 50 even outside opposition box never mind tracking back to help defend, which he didn't do lol.

26 Oct 2018 10:44:35
who can forget his stunner against celtic though (mckay) he would be good for ejaria role once ejaria goes back which he will. mckay was good for forward through balls. which we are kinda lacking at moment.

27 Oct 2018 00:31:33
And who can forget his laziness, his desperation to leave us, shirking tackles. should I continue? A waste of talent and a waste of space.

25 Oct 2018 00:42:42
i want to know what is going on with mccrorie. he is going backwards under gerrard. and is clearly a better player than rossitier who was gash against accies he hides makes the easy pass then stays close to hamilton midfielder and points for the pass to go elsewhere. don't think gerrard the man for us. i know we have been excellent in euro but league average at best. and is not actually playing our players. the guys he buys sits on bench while loans play every week.

25 Oct 2018 05:07:38
You have to be a troll👍.

25 Oct 2018 05:17:24
😂 lolza.

25 Oct 2018 06:41:28
Nice try clown.

25 Oct 2018 07:53:01
well played timothy.

25 Oct 2018 08:41:20
You need to give Rossiter games to get up to speed it’s unfair to have a go at him when he has been out force so long. Hopefully he can stay injury free and get a run of games.

25 Oct 2018 09:49:24
Not sure if Coldo has a sixth sense or if timothy is so stupid, answers on a postcard gerforlife.
Oh don't forget the stamp. You can smell them out Coldo.

25 Oct 2018 10:18:55
Too easy canada bear👍, if you want a laugh check out the post that bhampot posted at 11.10pm last night on other posts. We really are the last thing at night they think about and the first thing they think about in the morning. Quite cringey but they make us laugh. I bet they'll watch us fly the flag in europe tonight, after all they are just a humiliating embarresment in europe👍.

25 Oct 2018 11:13:55
See what you mean Coldo, its hilarious that bham cannot help himself, morning noon and night its all about the Rangers. Wonder if his mammy takes his meals up to his dark dank little bedroom on a tray?

More to be pitied than scolded.
Come on bham, open the dirty curtains and let the light in.

25 Oct 2018 12:00:32
Its hilarious. I must admit I on the odd occasion pop over to their page to see what rubbish they are spouting.

25 Oct 2018 13:13:07
Gerforlife oh dear think the bears have outed you
You're what we call a proctologists dream. A talking arse!
Away and get ready for your usual European away pumping, look out the grey and green hoops and shave a wee space in your eyebrow.

25 Oct 2018 15:14:11
@timforlife - you're on a roll. Wee question - are you bhampot in disguise? 😂😭😂.

25 Oct 2018 15:58:09
UJ, Bampot doesn’t have the brain power to even think about setting up a troll profile!

25 Oct 2018 16:27:26
Coldo you really are scary sniffing out the puddle drinkers! 😂😂👍.

25 Oct 2018 16:28:22
He'd prob end up arguing with his troll profile😂.

25 Oct 2018 16:29:25
Serious question guys. Do they actually have an illness? 🙄.

25 Oct 2018 18:53:38
Rossiter is a far superior player when fit. Liverpool would have gotten 8million for the lad had he went to an English club and was clearly rated high enough to start alongside Gerrard and be England's under 20s captain. A run of games will see the guy better than Scott Brown. Brown is a walloper but he is a good player but rossiter could end up a 20 million player for us.

25 Oct 2018 19:43:54
Nice name neebz. TAD-gerforlife is probably more fitting!

25 Oct 2018 23:43:09
Tjrfc, apart from never playing alongside Gerrard and never being capped at under 20 nevermind captaining the team, your post is solid.

26 Oct 2018 02:16:31
Burnbank my apologies it was the under 19s he captained not 20s. And didn't he play with Gerrard against Middlesbrough? I remember him scoring under Rodgers. Might be my mind playing on me but I remember the goal and players like carragher and Fowler all talking him up too.

26 Oct 2018 10:56:15
you bams. have no brain of your own. i'm same guy who defended morelos when you all branded him not good enough at start of season.

how weak to brand me a member of manky mob.

so away form draw aberdeen motherwell loss to livi and scraped a result against accies and you don't think that is average at best? Really?

home games won is stmirren dundee stjohnstone bottom half table hearts good won give you that. most of teams we have beat are in bottom half table.
