There is a difference of being rated at £10 million and a club actually getting £10 million pound. Not sure a 28 year old championship defender would sell for that amount. At the start of the season Birmingham bid £5 million for Flint and Joe Bryan. If he does go for that, then good on him. Remember Celtic said Dembele was rated at £50 million now they are talking about £18 million.

To many drinks this Christmas shaft, Routledge is on approx 35 grand a week at Swansea. Aden Flint is wanted be bigger clubs than us we couldn’t afford him. Even players on that list like Vibe or Andy King we would struggle to sell. When will people realise we are still skint. We couldn’t tempt Aberdeen’s manager away from them what chance do we have of getting half these players. Kenny McLean is about the calibre of player we can attract now and will do until we sort ourselves out on and off the park.

Why do people keep posting these silly lists of players we could tempt, we have very little money and if we are honest Rangers are not a club that would interest a lot of players we have became a circus we are a top six club and just that, until we get a board who can appoint a decent manager who then can spend what little money we have then kick some arses to get the best out of the garbage we have then we may get second, this is not an attack on Murty he has been hung out to dry by this board, they have appointed two managers who were not good enough then took six weeks to go round in a circle and give the job to our U20s manager, even Kilmarnock can do better they have a manager now who is second only to Brendan in experience and look how it has kicked them on, I think we can expect more of these dark days until we get some decent investment but I won't hold my breath on that one

Most were saying 25m yea some were saying more but only after some of the transfers down south like 50m for a 30yr old right back.

Rangers have played 20 games this season 10 under pedro and 10 under murty. Pedro played 10 won 5 drew 3 lost 2. murty played 10 won 6 lost 4 both crap records yet people on here are already suggesting that he stays on after the season ends and even saying he is a good tactician?

murty has no tactics at all, his teams have no shape and are all over the place, he sets out to let teams attack us and in 2 of the games he's lost we scored first then appeared to sit back and try to defend that lead for the rest of the match and I will include the hibs away match in this even though we got away with that one. We invite crosses in to the box by playing narrow yet we have not been able to defend crosses since Ally was in charge, we are a mess tactically.

Graeme. you have a point there about the players not being good enough, but all the teams who have beaten us this season are below us excluding the manky mob,
That then tells us that the players from the teams below us who have beaten us are putting in a lot more effort, commitment etc and most of them would never ever be good enough play for Rangers, some of these players are only on £800 - £1000 per week!
Conclusion. sadly we have players who are not only not good enough but who are not putting in enough effort or commitment to justify the money that are getting week in and week out,

Not a rumour as such, but a relative tells me about a conversation he had with his mate Les Reed, a director of Southampton. Reed said he had spoken to Steven Davis on many occasions and that although the guy loved it at St Mary's his heart would always belong to Rangers. But since he is contracted there until he is 34, we'd need to buy him back if we wanted him and even if his club was 'generous' (his word) it would still cost Rangers upwards of £3m if agent fees and signing on fees are taken into consideration.
