Gent have just announced that ianis hagi has just signed for the famous . Get in there.

26 May 2020 20:15:36
bit weird for a club to be announcing a rival's outgoings.

26 May 2020 21:17:43
Bbc and sky now reporting it four year deal. Three million with a sell on clause.

26 May 2020 22:02:36
Good, he is a class player, and hopefully we will see much more from him.

26 May 2020 23:43:09
Not announced by the club yet, he will be unveiled along with the new strip.

27 May 2020 09:35:03
John25,a good bit of news, i think we will definetly get a turn from hagi, on the field, mate.

27 May 2020 13:40:47
Hopefully paraded with new strip on.

27 May 2020 15:20:54
Think 3 mil plus sell on is great deal personally. He will need to work on his upperbody strength but when he adjusts to domestic game i reckon he will be a great player for us. Think he has a very bright future.

27 May 2020 15:23:12
Great new £3m is a good bit of business, but why did David Graham feel the need to come out publicly and say it will be paid up over 3 years? It’s just ammunition for the manky mob! Honestly why are these things never thought through. 🤦🏽‍♂️.

27 May 2020 15:02:28
Why do rangers not do straightforward signings its same every time.

27 May 2020 15:41:26
6counties - no-one not even the cash rich EPL teams do 'straightforward' deals.
There are always clauses and 99% of the time paid over a number of years.

27 May 2020 16:55:41
Bar72 I agree mate but still, why come out and say it? Just to appease half wit journalists like Michael Stewart.

27 May 2020 17:47:59
Highland bear. King and park said we would see transparency, I’m not aware of any deal that is paid upfront, east end mob still paying up eddy.

28 May 2020 00:37:46
Highlandbear, no doubt it will all be under heavy scrutiny, just letting folk know what we spend, that way we can't be accused of overspending, ohh wait a minute, mate, lol.

28 May 2020 01:24:40
I would imagine 6 counties that there was a good reason for this . as it takes the heat and ammunition away from and out of the hands of the enemy .
Be fair though. The majority of our signings last year were silent and not many people knew about them till they walked through the door .
I think Hagi is an excellent piece of business .

26 May 2020 18:15:35
Now i'm only sharing this info with all my fellow bears on here, so don't shoot the messenger fellow bears! I was told by a hibs shareholder who got it from a prominent former hibs legendary player that rangers and hibs have already held talks regarding a possible swap between greg docherty and scott allan. I was told that gerrard rates allan highly and jack ross wants greg docherty on a permanent deal. The hibee told me he's been told that it would be docherty plus £1.5million to hibs and scott allan signing for rangers. I personally don't want scott allan at rangers, although i do rate him.
What's our thoughts on this fellow bears? 🤔.

26 May 2020 18:39:51
He is certainly not worth 1.5 and Docherty.

26 May 2020 18:44:59
My thoughts are it's utter rubbish, SGL, and I'm not shooting the messenger, just offering my own opinion. I'm a Rangers shareholder and I am close to quite a number of legends who played for us and I've never heard such detailed reports on transfer dealings from anyone. Ever. Apart from that, Scott Allan should never be allowed the privilege of pulling that jersey over his big head. There are plenty of players out there who are just as good or even far better, mate.

26 May 2020 18:45:52
Coop, A straight swap fair enough but plus £1.5million is a non starter for me? Docherty cost us £650k so that would make Allan worth over 2million! Naw✌️🇬🇧.

26 May 2020 19:03:05
Doc plus £1.5 million! 😳.

26 May 2020 19:08:55
Id only gee hibs Doc + cash if we got to fire scott Allan out of a cannon into a hole filled with dog rubbish!

26 May 2020 19:13:25
Not shooting the messenger but absolutely no chance. Simply won’t happen. There’s more value in Docherty and Allan will never be accepted. Would be a dreadful move and personally one I’d never want to see.

26 May 2020 19:24:48
Yately is spot on. Why would we need Allen if we are signing Hagi ( same position) . If we are not signing Hagi then a swap would be ok but would signal a lack of ambition from the Gers with no likely prospect of winning the title.

Good player though he is he turns up for about 10 games a year and wasted his talent chasing a pound.

26 May 2020 19:31:20
I think the Hibs Shareholder is on something! Either that or the former Hibs player is taking the proverbial! If it was Hibs giving us £1.5m + Allan it would be more believable!

26 May 2020 19:55:38
There has been no talks about FK.

26 May 2020 20:11:40
Docherty would be valued at more than scott Allen I believe. don't think we would take less than a million for docherty, allen isn't worth 2 n a half quid never mind million.

26 May 2020 20:24:00
Hope this doesn't happen. I"d rather we kept Doc.

26 May 2020 20:34:08
No way doc and £1.5M crazy deal if that was considered, his medical condition is such he struggles to get 90 mins.

26 May 2020 20:25:20
Maybe Hibs mean they'll give us Allan and 1.5 million for docherty. We don't want Allan though. Dicherty is much better. Don't know why Gerrard sent him out on loan. Different positions but docherty is way better than ojo. then again so is my grandma and she's only got one leg. ;)

26 May 2020 20:27:26
👀 👀 👀

😂 😂 😂.

26 May 2020 20:46:48
Said the other day i would go for allan.

26 May 2020 21:46:45
Coops you know a lot of directors from other clubs mate. I remember a few year back a motherwell director told you we were signing the young lad Cadden from the well.

26 May 2020 22:04:23
Allan has a bit of a spark with him, I like the way he plays, Docherty is a more industrious player.

26 May 2020 22:21:32
Docherty was sent out on loan because he wasn’t good enough and wasn’t getting a game nothing has changed.

26 May 2020 22:57:37
Folk saying docherty is better is hilarious.

26 May 2020 23:38:41
I think Allen would be a decent signing and cover for hagi / attacking mid area. Docherty is a hard working player but feel he lacks the touch required. Allen would provide the vision required when teams come to ibrox and defend in numbers. However docherty and 500 k is enough - Allen’s previous situation is unfair he never had a say - hibs and Celtic ensured he didn’t make the move.

26 May 2020 23:46:25
There is truth in this to an extent but it is more likely that rangers will go for kamberi in a swap deal. However i don't think Docherty eants to leave.

27 May 2020 08:09:04
He may not have an option mcv if gerrard tells him he's not part of his plans. I just don't think he's good enough imo. Like the kid but don't really rate him. Next season is absolutely massive we need game changers.

27 May 2020 09:36:22
Yately01, yes, very good reply, the truth, my opinion also, mate.

27 May 2020 11:16:10
If we were to go for an ex celtic in their late 20s player allen wouldn't be my choice. I wouldn't be spending money on the lad. Personally I would look at Armstrong. Just read an article and had a conversation with a Southampton fan about him. Would he be accepted by our support? I would rate him far superior to both Allen and docherty. Not saying buy him but loan instead. He for me has everything. Can defend, works hard, great vision, can pick a pass, read the game well, can unlock a defence and knows where the goal is.

27 May 2020 16:53:47
bellshillad, why would an EPL club loan us a player who is a regular in their team? And would you be happy to pick up even half of a £54k a week wage for a guy who hates us?

27 May 2020 17:49:04
Covenanter Armstrong does not hate us.

27 May 2020 19:05:09
John25. him and his family are massive celtic fans. He has zero interest in coming to rangers.

27 May 2020 20:57:51
John25 I'm afraid he does and so do all of his family.

28 May 2020 11:00:02
Sure Armstrong came out in a previous interview and said football was only a job to him and he would have signed for us as well. Maybe wrong.

29 May 2020 09:23:00
Allen fantastic player his game has came on since he went back to Hibs.

Armstrong i'm told would sign for Us

Kenny McLean good Springburn boy and a blue noise . would walk up the road.

Young Fergie would take him before any of the above as he is and always will be a rangers MAN.

26 May 2020 14:21:13
Rangers have opened talks to sign Liverpool-born rising star Tony Weston, Football Insider can reveal.
16 year old striker. Made his debut for Blackpool in january and trains with their first team. I know the source is football insider which talk rubbish but anyone heard anything about this?

26 May 2020 16:50:30
Omg another player that's no good to us this season.

26 May 2020 17:18:46
true but also very shortsighted.

26 May 2020 17:23:41
DSGF why do you have a problem with us strengthening our youth?

26 May 2020 17:32:58
Tjrfc. He can look to future. If we signed Messi I’m sure he would complain.

26 May 2020 18:46:05
You said it yourself, bellshillad, the source is mince.

26 May 2020 19:33:03
A decent young player by all accounts and I remember Derek Johnstone making his debut at 16.

26 May 2020 19:43:10
Youth is the future. Sell on for big fees and put the profits back in the first team squad.

26 May 2020 20:13:00
We never play any youngsters being honest, so the chance of getting a big fee for one is slim to none.

26 May 2020 20:21:41
great that should stop them winning ten in a row.

26 May 2020 20:21:54
TJrfc we needty strenthen 1st team first if i'm honest.

27 May 2020 00:53:24
We do, which is why hagi is being signed. But if we're going to have a sustainable business model, we need to nurture youth and sell them like the east are doing.

27 May 2020 11:24:18
We have a massive advantage when going after players from England who are 16 as we can offer professional contract but English clubs need to wait till they turn 17. About time we were going down and bringing in some of the talent instead of it being the other way. The lad won't help us just now but if we can build a team from within our ranks we wouldn't need to buy one. Look at the success of the man utd team when Scholes and co all came through at the same time. They didn't need to bed in or develop the understanding as it was already there. If we can bring through more Fergusons, McGreggor's or Hutton's our club would be in better financial shape and instead of spreading transfer budgets to buy 4 or 5 players we buy 1 or 2 cause we produce what we need.
