Can people please not link Berra to Rangers, he is awful. I wouldn't pay £100,000 for him let alone over a million.

You do know that Lichtsteiner is apparently a RB and that Iaquinta is a big centre forward, certainly not a winger.

Ed are rangers trying to get Stephen Lichtsteiner ed ?? {Ed002's Note - It seems unlikely and expensive. He will probably move to Napoli.}

Ed are rangers looking at Iaquinta ed ?? {Ed001's Note - there have certainly been Rangers reps at games he has played in, but it could just as easily be a team mate as him. I wouldn't like to say as that is the only info I have regarding it.}

Ed are rangers looking at lee wallace and do you think they, ll sign david goodwillie if the takeover goes through ed ?? {Ed001's Note - I believe so regarding Wallace and it looks very unlikely regarding Goodwillie, he was ready to join last summer but now he has interest from England he looks very likely to move down south.}

RANGERSNEWS ,
The takeover is a leveraged buy - out , which means rangers are the collateral high interest loans isn't a good move for the club.
Seemingly the bank have told the board this deal is being pushed through , whyte wants kings 5% shares so he has no one to answer too .
If this goes ahead now and the case against HMRC goes against us in otober we will be worse off than we are just now!
Why has no one done Due diligence on craig whyte? I can't believe rangers fans don't want these answers for a man who isn't on any rich list and whos compamy tixway Ltd folded with debts over a year ago! JOURNO.

Whyte can only use Rangers assests to secure loans. things like Ibrox (which is a listed building and would hold no value for developers). What you might be talking about is using rangers as a platform to borrow to fund other business ventures. This prob won't happen and if it does it will not be to a massive extent. Man U, Man C, Spurs, West Ham, all these teams + more work in this way. and with the current tax thing my understanding is that MIH will be liable for that should the takeover go through.

According to Daily Express and Scotsman websites, the Whyte deal is now set to go through with Board's backing. Transfer targets apparently include Juventus's Iaqinta and another Serie A player. McCoist to get at least £10m now for players. The deal should go through tomorrow, just in time to give Gers a big boost for the run-in to three-in-a-row!

Thought you had an exclusive that the deal was dead, bigger u-turn than the Rangers board, can never take anything you say seriously

I think McCoist will have a few targets in each position he want's to fill. (GK? CB, CM and CF in addition to wide players)
But there are so many possibilities in what he has to spend on wages, Fees and what positions he needs to replace. Realistically McGregor will go is Spurs, Man U or Arsenal make a half decent bid (£5m) bid, Bougherra (12 months left) will be gone also and players like Davis, Jelavic and Papac (out of contract)might want to leave if we don't win league and have Champions league Qualification chance at least.
Weir may/ may not retire
If that does happen we might have anything between 5 and £20m EXTRA to spend on transfer fees and £3m in wages but we will need a Full spine of a team, so as a bluenose I hope we get takeover sorted by end of week as promised (for 50th time!) then we might be able to keep our best players and add a few more but basically all I am saying is I think Coisty will sign Goodwillie regardless because hes a Gers fan and has proved himself in SPL and is affordable at prob £1.5-2m + add ons.
As for the other targets, hes just having a look at whats available at each end of market so will have a list of 50-100 genuine targets depending on the circumstances CMon The Caley Thistle!
