So with some young loanee's from Liverpool, happy they come up hopefully add to the squad however Coulibaly and Sadiq, if they have a great a season as we all hope, I pray we have already pre-agreed a purchase price! Fingers crossed they deliver and we have that quandary to deal with end of season.
Some were also saying needing s creative midfielder. Hyndman? Take him back in a second and not sure he will breakthrough at Bournemouth, either but him or loan with option.

I remember Hyndman starting well, but once the SPL hardmen got into him he faded away. Which is my worry with a lot of these young loanees.

Hyndman was nothing more than a breath of fresh air amongst imposters, he looked decent because the standard of player we had were terrible.

Hyndman was mediocre a lot of the time It was only the first year up in the PL for Rangers and the squad was no more than average to below average in terms of what we had pitted against the other SPL clubs
The team we have this year appear to be of better calibre but still need lots of work and added quality I reckon
At least second place finish and a cup (also should be pegging Celtic closer this year) Anything less is a failed season in my opinion

I wish people would stop banging on about pre agreed purchase prices and options to buy. We won't get top talent on loan if we insist on this option in every loan deal. Having said that, did I read that we have an option to buy on koulibaly? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

Trick is to insert an option to purchase even if it’s too much then this can be renegotiated as the contract runs down. It’s obviously better low if possible but this isn’t always the case.

Lafferty for a few hundred thousand i would take but it hearts want 1 mil or over witch i think they will want i would rather Moult if we need to spend that money
he played less than half the time Lafferty did last season and he got 4 goals less and 1 more assist
Lafferty 2729 mins - 12 goals
Moult 1166 mins - 8 goals
and i know he scored free kicks last season but i don't know if moult took the free kicks at motherwell so if he did not and Lafferty did and only scored 4 more goals think moult is the guy to go for.

Lafferty has a ton more of international experience, is a great add to the squad with proven goals in this league, knows what it’s like to have been at our club, he’s 30 which is just about right age for understanding his role as a squad player- For me it’s Lafferty all day, no brainer.

We won’t pay anywhere near 1 mil for lafferty. The 200k offer shows him were interested so he’ll put in a transfer request and say he isn’t happy.

No way Lafferty worth anything like £750k. He is 31 and past his best. Would be a good squad option for us for this season and the £200m was a fair offer. Could sweeten by offering couple of loanees.

My gut reaction is we need better but I can see the logic in having him in the squad. What’s his value though? I’d say 600k max. And I can’t see Hearts selling for that. Any news on the Bryan deal?

Funny I remember the we don’t do walking away rubbish, shagger, Naismith and lafferty all doing exactly that. At the time they were derided by the oldco support and even Kyles flute band credentials couldn’t save him. I’d take him back, as a squad player who can offer something different- it’s a no brainier! Can score goals and is a handful that the manky mob have proven they can’t handle. Good shout swap him with Wallace and maybe a few quid on top!

Decent enough performance. Few errors in terms of wayward passes and positional sense.
Coulibaly looks a grafter, Morelos will take confidence and push on, still needs a dictator in the middle to pick his runs.
Windass was tosh when he came on, thought he would’ve took a chance at trying to shine.
Defence looks good big Connor could be our new Gough.
Feel great about shagger in between the sticks.

Yip, good win. Overall very happy. Hopefully morelos does push on, took his goal well and to be fair it was a well worked corner. We do miss john's runs, think john and middleton would tear it up down the left. Thought big goldson and katic were immense. How good is it to have mcgregor in goals. Last season we would have lost that game, our defence would have crumbled.
