RFFF hits 250k. Keep it going Bears. WATP. LB

Believable16 Unbelievable17

Maybe soon the police might get paid, or who knows the groundsmen

Agree0 Disagree0

That can go straight to keeping aluko

Agree0 Disagree0

Fraction of Hearts dues of £800k for Wallace, keep it up, only £95million to go!
And none of it is the fans bills.
It's David Murrays debt, he's worth £500million. Why are poor people digging deep for 250k?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a pound each from every one of your 250,000 fans that went to Manchester ... Must dig deeper........Stevie

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a huge wake up for the bidders. Your CVA models based on fans buying shares are all flawed. There isn't anywhere near £20million out here with fans.
As the team diminishes, you can forget huge season ticket take up to watch losing games with youth players, we want superstars and Euro glory.

Agree0 Disagree0

There wont be until we know where the cash is going.... ok ive donated but until i know for sure it aint buying whyte a gucci suit, i aint pledging big amounts.. honest but true craig+babybear

Agree0 Disagree0

That's 1/4 of D&P bill..come on guys dig deeper...thanks.
Mr Clark

Agree0 Disagree0

250k......wouldn't buy you Martin Bain at £608k per year.

Agree0 Disagree0

David murray is now only worth 100m. his companies suffered badly in recession.

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to the australian guy who pledged £1 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Daily Record today saying D&P racking up £3m in fees. Mention possibility of 10 point deduction next season for still being in admin. due diligence to take months on 5 bids. No bidders have even scrutinised books yet! Howcan anyone bid without looking through the books BEFOREHAND.

Agree0 Disagree0

David Murray still owns properties all around the world. Including a spacious pad in Monaco? (same building as someone?)..
He has two vineyards in France. Guess the family dynasty and legacy will be wine and not football.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fund hits £250k. Well done !
So where is this money going ?
Its 5% of the £5M CW pledged to Fatface each year for the next 5 years. Dont see that happening now.
Use it to buy Aluko ? He will be gone at the end of the season whith the rest of the Prima-Donnas............ Thats a bit harsh actually, forgot big Giraffe thinks you're still the best team in Scotland. Was he watching a 15 point lead slip, out of ALL cup competitions. Think not!
Remember Fat Sally said he dropped Aluko because of a dip in form. His form has kept RFC in 2nd place single handedly, then again, what does he know? Hes too busy being Mr Nice Guy for the press. Being nice does not win you prizes.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above poster stop having a go at ally going take a look at ur own managers behaviour first - allys won more as a player and an assistant manager than any of your lot - and like neil lennon he will need more than his first season to get it right you clown!!

Gers1986

Agree0 Disagree0

You's need more buckets and bigger pockets, plus the 250,000 that went to manchester to buy more of your wee flags that way you can pay D&P because no one is getting any money till there wages are in the bank.So lets get your a*se in gear and get the money out......b

Agree0 Disagree0

That's 23 days that we have paid for the administrators.

Agree0 Disagree0

£250,000 sorry to say darlington raise the same amount come on bears a £1 for every one who were in machester poor show

Rangers & Celtic are to vote against any changes as proposed by the other 10 SPL clubs.

Not sure if this would be in Rangers favour, if they need to re-apply to the SPL.

Source BBC Sport.

Believable23 Unbelievable5

The 10 SPL renegade clubs cannot change the current rules without getting the vote through using the current rules. So trying to get greedy beyond their clubs worth, whilst there's a weak Rangers won't work. Dirty tricky scamps.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or they could resign from the SPL and join the SFL instead leaving a two team SPL.. That would be interesting

Agree0 Disagree0

This isn't what they want. They want more of the old firm money not zero old firm money.
It would hurt Celtic, it would end Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

The 10 r pure and simple greedy and must be out votted simple as corby bear

I feel with Ness, fleck, Hutton and macabe coming through its time to cash in on mo edu, not going slag the guy to much but don't think we need him.

Believable28 Unbelievable38

Edu doesn't get the credit he deserves! Was at the game on Sunday we were 3-0 up and edu was chasing everything!! His work rate is second to none, only thing I would say that he gives away to many silly balls.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why post this now? the squad will be totally recycled in the summer anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont agree. Watched the game on Sky. 1st time i heard Edus name was 22 mins. Strolling around the center circle. 1st half passed him by. Maybe in the 2nd half when Tic were way off the pace, made him look a player. Never rated him never will.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck ?????? Id have edu anyday he may not be the most skillfull player but he works his socks of for the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck was looking good before we put him out on loan. Don't know why some bears dont like him, he is still only 20.

J

Agree0 Disagree0

Ps really like the look of McCabe and ness. Not sure about Hutton to be totally honest but I'll give him time.

J

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu has the edge guys and has done his job well this season looks like as if he has done nothing but as Defending Midfielder his role is to mop up and pass the ball on he has done that had bad games along with rest davis has been worse .. Edu has experience that youngsters lack

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree totally with 3rd reply. If players hadnt been sent off i wouldnt have noticed he was there. He had nowhere to hide, really nice guy but too nice to play his role.

Agree0 Disagree0

His 2nd touch is a tackle.
His passes are consistantly awful, 5 yard passes only get about 2 yards.
It's all fine and well saying he works hard, but he doesn't do anything, he just runs about. Anyone who is fit and has 2 legs can do that. He is a nice guy but he does nothing productive, so dodgy its unreal. Replace him with McCabe!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant be east for Edu he gets pelters before he even touches the ball in home games

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to be careful here putting too much expectation on the kids. They will have good games here and there but still need experience for the long hard season

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck? done nothing in a rangers jersey. Ness is excellent but cannot play 4 games in a row, hutton was average before going to partick and dunfermline on loan and McCabe has had 1 good 60 mins! you need to have a FULL season consistantly playing well before you sell established players, thankfully your are not the manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hutton has been on the subs bench for partick and fleck isn't doing much at the mighty blackpool so how can u possibly think they are the future of rangers. they are at best average and ness can't string together 2 games without getting injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu like so many at rangers is total minse.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have them all. Depth in the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats minse?

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest I have watched Edu all year and honestly rate him as one of our better players. He is athletic and the workrate the boy puts in is unreal, not to mention his tackling is always strong and he never gets sent off for silly fouls. I know its extremely optimistic but I would love Davis, Edu and McCabe to be in the middle next year. With Edu's workrate and tackling, Davis calm on the ball, passing and starting to come onto a game and McCabe's passing and energy we could really be onto a decent side IF we can hang onto them

Agree0 Disagree0

For me, a young midfield squad including Ness, Hutton, McCabe and Fleck marshalled by the experience of Davis and the return of Naismith would be a pretty exciting start to next season. Throw in Perry and Cole at the back and Hemmings up front!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have watched hemmings particularly at youth level and i hate to be cruel but he is not the answer. same applies to hutton who is nothing but ordinary.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact rangers are down to the bare bones upfront and having to play mcculloch up top tells me that ally doesn't rate hemmings. the occassional times he has played he has flattered to deceive.i just hope a buyer comes soon cos there's a lot of dross in the team.

big deal someone with rangers connections enquiring about st mirren ....no worries then as we can get no cash from anywhere ...more newspaper trash ..please buy my papers i need more cash

Believable9 Unbelievable20

Rangers connections!! Are you crazy? It was a Director/ The Company Secretary, the second highest guy in the company.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not trash mate. It's been all over the media for over a week.(And not just the "red tops") We really need to get shot of Whyte and his recruited directors. I know Whyte's from Lanark, but some of the people he's been associated with, are like London East end mafia types. Google them. Then check almost every company they've been associated with has been dissolved, this is what they do mate. They call them Venture capitalists. Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers secretary was shown their books and quizzed Brian Caldwell about use of ETBs

Agree0 Disagree0

The poster needs to open his eyes ,yet another example of certainly dodgy and poss crooked negotiations on behalf of Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

@ "Poster needs to open his eyes"
I don't consider Craig Whyte or Gary Withey as "Rangers minded" men. I consider them to be buisnessmen, whom i don't want anywhere near our club. And just for the record, i also would like to see whoever ran our club into the ground get his/their come uppance as well. Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

What Rangers fans 'consider' Is Rangers or not is of zero concern. Rangers IS Rangers Directors. You cannot pick and choose, when in office they are the company! Inseparable.

Explosive statement just released by St Mirren.

"It has come to the attention of the Board of Directors of St Mirren Football Club Limited that a meeting took place in our Boardroom in November 2011. This meeting was attended by Mr Ken McGeoch, Mr Paul Davies and Mr Gary Withey, Company Secretary of Rangers Football Club Limited.

During the meeting Mr Withey had sight of and inspected commercially sensitive documents of St Mirren Football Club. At one point during the meeting the Club’s General Manager was brought into the meeting and asked various questions including whether or not the Club used Employee Benefit Trusts (E.B.T.s).

As a Director of the Company, Mr McGeoch had every right to inspect such documents. The Board, however, consider that his decision to show these documents to an Office Holder of another SPL club is a serious breach of trust and an error of judgement.

In light of the information available to the Board, they have asked Mr McGeoch to resign his position as a Director of the Company with immediate effect. Should he fail to do so within the next 48 hours, we regret the Company shall be forced to call, at the Club’s expense, an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company to consider this matter further.

The selling consortium of St Mirren directors were not informed of Mr Withey or Collyer Bristow’s involvement with Mr McGeoch until January 2012, at which point it had concerns over the involvement of Mr Withey."

Believable28 Unbelievable8

More grief to come from SFA then.....

Agree0 Disagree0

RFC were considering buying St Mirren?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow! That'll have Chick twitching!

Agree0 Disagree0

Aren't rangers a plc ? As in public limited company and not rangers ltd?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure how an error of judgement by an official of another SPL club means more trouble for Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmmm dirty dealings involving a Rangers Director?

Agree0 Disagree0

Does that mean if they remove 1 of the stands at st mirrens ground chic will be able to see ibrox better onlt time ive seen chic speechless when he passed me in a-da and id 8 cases of lager in my trolley

Agree0 Disagree0

This old news. Story broke about 10 days ago. St Mirren have been looking for a new buyer for a while. Someone at St Mirren twigged about Gary Withey's involvement the buddies cancelled the talks. Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone if Withey (Whyte's pal) was looking to buy St Mirren should it?, Liquidation has been Whyte's plan from day one.
Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers are a Plc, there's a lot of fans own shares as well as former managers and directors. But Craig Whyte has 85%.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was this the way back into the spl if we are liquidated

Agree0 Disagree0

What I personally think is Rnagers were looking into buying St.Mirren as a fall back on it going sour at Rangers and the walls tumbling in...as Whyte kept saying he will be seen to be the saviour of Rangers, he knew Rangers were finished when he took over and knew he would get a handsome price for all the assets at Rangers, by snapping up St.Mirren(why else was he in the back ground of the inquiry) he could emerge as the "saviour" of Rangers. St. Mirren would have been tossed aside and rebranded with the permission of the SPL/SFA without them have to press for any sanctions as they are not Rangers and so cannot be punished for anything.......

Agree0 Disagree0

SPL and SFA need to immediately investigate this to underpin confidence and integrity of league. I can think of two regs which may have been breeched.

charity game with AC Milan under investigation by Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Source: Scotzine website

Believable37 Unbelievable23

This is more person lies north ayrshire bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Scotzine eh! Home of Andy Muirhead. One of the biggest Rangers haters there is.

Agree0 Disagree0

They should be interested as Hectors club is not a charity and so bailing them out by running charity events is a non starter....hence the reason you had to pay tax on the flag sales at the weekend. If the money being raised was to be used in Rangers Community projects covered by their charity number then that would be a different matter.
Rangers FC in Admin is a business not a charity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Money raised from flags were a 'donation' - not sales & didn't go straight to RFC
good try though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you pillocks not got a league to win!!

bill72

Agree0 Disagree0

Sidestepping the rules got RFC into this mess in the first place. What happened to integrity in business. No lessons learned...

Agree0 Disagree0

It's cutting corners like this that cause all of our problems. I refuse to buy a ticket for a charity match if the money is not going to charity. And before you all start flapping your gums about not being a real fan I give thousands to the Gers every year for tickets and merchandise for me and my family. I am totally ashamed by this latest scam by my club. How desperate and low are we we going to stoop? It is embarassing enough that we are in this situation without tarnishing our name any further. Behind the scenes the club are a total shambles and every week it is getting worse. The administrators seem to be bumbling along without moving us forward. I honestly don't think any the bids are concrete, how can they be with the btc still unknown?Has anyone tried explaining what is going on to their 7 & 9 yr old sons, it is not easy. We don't know what is going on, neither does D&P and really the RFFF is pointless.what is 200k going to do to make any differnce. The club needs to get it's act together off the field asap or this could drag on for years.I am terrified of liquidation but maybe it could be for the best to actally get something done.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good points all of them - however my understanding is that the Rangers Charity foundation who have benefitted over the years to well over a million £ -are the ones who suggested this move - - rightly or wrongly they are only trying to secure future benefits by keeping the club going.
never said its right - but we are where we are unfortunately

bill72

Agree0 Disagree0

There has not been a more sensible post on here for weeks. This guy with the 7&9 year olds is absolutely spot on. Im in my 40's and I haven't a clue. D&P dont have a clue. No-one at Ibrox seems to have a clue. The fans are being fleeced something terrible whilst our club continues to bring shame and embarassment by the day. When will it all end ?

Agree0 Disagree0

With CW. JG and MB as the main Trustees and none of them talking to each other, is no wonder in a mess.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bears a tim here. Rest assured we know the rank and file, the true fans are not at fault. You are victims of the suits and greed. What did the 4 men starting your club without even a ball care about high finace. A pitch , some strips and a ball. The rest is just nonsense. We should all go back to basics . Rant over

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, for the guy with the kids, I do hope there is a reasonable outcome from this situation. It for real fans like you, some of us across the divide have some sympathy.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy with the 7 & 9 year old sons is spot on? Where he says we should resort to liquidation after ranting about being ashamed and asking how low we should stoop? So you suggest liquidating our great club to avoid paying what we owe so that we get to start a fresh? Im sorry but i'd rather years of paying the price and taking the consequences to pay off what we owe. What gives us the divine right to walk away and start a fresh? It took 140 years to build this club and earn the history we have and you would sell it so cheaply just so that you get to watch a winning team? We must take our punishment for whatever wrong doing we have been involved in. Not take the easy way out just so we can get back to winning ways. I do not want to support some other team just because of fans who cannot live without winning things. I want to support Rangers not some cheap rip off. That im afraid is the shameful way out of this myre. It will all end when we find the correct people to face up to our responsibilities. Only by doing this can we say we survived and hold our heads high as the club we all know and love.

Blue Stu

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue Stu what I am saying is that the chances are we as a club will die.I might be right or might be wrong but why drag it on?Can you say one thing that has given us any hope in over 6 WEEKS of administration. There is not one piece of concrete good news came out of the club in months.I went into work yesterday expecting celtic fans to be a bit quiet after Sunday, were they hell, we are still a laughing stock with them and rightly so if you look at the bigger picture. We can gloat over beating them but it really only papered over the massive cracks. What happened that we could be out of admin for the end of March, more p##h we were spoon fed and believed. With ticketus, hmrc and all the other debts haning over us who in their right mind is going to buy into us?I am no expert but my sis in law works in an accountants and has been told hmrc DO NOT do these CVAs.That is not me claiming any insider knowledge, just what an accountant said in general. We don't have the money to front this out and it doesn;t look like we will get it from anywhere soon.David Murray tried to sell us for 3/4 years with an £18m debt and couldn't so tell me who is going to buy us in our present state, nobody mate, sad but very very true
{Ed014's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

The way a charity works is, the money is raised and given to the charity, this then becomes theres and they do what the want with it in terms of who they give it to and who they help out. it was the RCT that suggested this move, both rangers and RCT will benifit as well as AC milan charity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's support the Legends Game on Friday. Brilliant atmosphere at the game on Sunday, well done to all. Looking forward to a good night. Young and old got ticket and scarf (red and black)

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at the fans trying to justify taking money from a charity, like the kid that steals the charity box at school but admits it, its digusting

Agree0 Disagree0

What is really embarassing is the lengths some celtic fans will go to cheer themselves up. Read the replies to the original post here and only a naive half wit would honestly believe they came from rangers fans. Sad pathetic specimens that they are they spend all thier waking hours "thinking" up crap like this. They dont support a team they only hate one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers FC taking a slice of the charity money is I'm afraid very low. I don't care if it's legal..........my little voice inside tells me it's morally wrong and bad.
On the great day on Sunday, yes it was, but it was marred by the sectarian songs after each rangers goal, let's not pretend it didn't happen and hopefully the singing isn't the reason some think they had a great day! I cringed and it detracted from the day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Call that educated sad pathetic fans to the post above...It is not RTC,s call its the regulatory body for charities who are investigating the milan game!Just read what happened to Plymouth when they pulled the same stunt although they did the right thing before it went to court. Its the sad pathetic delusional fans who think rangers will get away with this that saddens me.Look up the facts you will be prosecuted and stop blaming everybody else for again tryin to fleece someone out of money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did the jelly not set and the ice cream melt? Never seen so many hurting bhoys! What a sad and pathetic life just to sit and detest Rangers. Just be thankful that administration cost us points and a few weeks of disarray considering your management and squad's lack of desire and bottle in the big games...

Agree0 Disagree0

I take it the last post is from the sad pathetic delusional fan again?thought so!As yer fine editor stated no celtic fan was hurting we are still laughing at the goins on at ibrokes.Read scotslawthoughts about yer chances of coming out of administration and whats goin to happen regarding the charity match and see if that wipes the smile off yer face.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha disarray, administration cost rangrs the league? You really do live in lala land!Did that cost defeats in league cup, scottish cup, europe or was that someone elses fault?No-ones hurting except you thats why your still dreaming of what might have been.weirdo

any news on tax case verdict

Believable6 Unbelievable23

Nothing before Easter

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes you will lose.................every Hector who does not have his or her head in the sand knows that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for that timmy you obviously are someone with vast knoweledge on such matters and have an assortment of high level contacts within legal circles to be know the result of the ongoing tax dispute
Well done

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no way out of Ticketus and HMRC, wishful thinking, hoping for powerful help from friends, wealthy individual, forget all of above.
Not going to happen.
Bye bye

Agree0 Disagree0

After Easter now before we"ll hear

Agree0 Disagree0

Whit wan are ye referring tae?

Agree0 Disagree0

The bottom line is that this case is so complex neither rangers or HMRC can say with any certainty if they will have a successful outcome
so its frustrating to see comments from people who have no idea of any financial issues more complex than having the ability to claim their benefits!

Agree0 Disagree0

Be fair...have you seen a benefit claim form lately

Agree0 Disagree0

I work hard for my money mate and dont need to wait for the state to subsidise me or my family so have never had a need to fill a benefits form in.

But good to know you have the experstise and experience to help if ever the need arises

Cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

No News! but The Samaritans have asked that you all stop calling, there are deserving people out there requiring this service.
It not suitable for people who support a corrupt little football club, who are not prepared to accept whatever consequence if any is coming.

Belittling individuals on benefits in this current economic climate is particularly distasteful, but perhaps typical of a section of your support.

Agree0 Disagree0

I only belittle people who make a career out of miliking the state dry at the expense of hard working individuals!
We all have hard times including my little club but the last i heard was that we hadn't been found guilty of anything upto this point!!

Unless of course you with your vast knowledge of all matters legal and financial can impart your wisdom on us

Look forward to you informing the public of your findings ASAP as your superior knowledge can allow a financial audit to be complete in time to hand to UEFA by March 31st which allows Rangers to compete in Europe next year

You've been a great help today timmy in helping rangers find out their fate

What a wonderful and highly talented individual you are

Agree0 Disagree0

Wisen up. The pc police on a noticeboard. I give in

Agree0 Disagree0

You are in admin because you are guilty, you never paid millions in tax this year guilty you never paid clubs this year guilty so at this point how can you say you are not guilty grt real....b

Agree0 Disagree0

Have a wonderful evening Timmy

PC police? cant quite understand what you mean by that so once again i feel imay have to bow to your superior knowledge and await further enlightenment from your goodself

Agree0 Disagree0

You can,t compete in europe in the 3rd division and liquidation! And anyone under any illusions that your team will walk away from ticketus and taxman just read scotslawthoughts.wordpress and they,ll soon put ye right!Another wee tip maybe ye could hire one of the guest lawyers on here as yer own are masters of losing every case they go to court with lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought liquidation means you seace to exist ? So how can we play in the 3rd division and seace to exist ?. Get your facts right timmy boy before you come on here and talk utter rubbish. Pennyboy

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers have been found guilty of the small tax case (circa £4.5m plus interest) accepted that guilt and that penalty.
They are also guilty of not paying PAYE and VAT for 9 months up to last month.
They are also guilty of oweing about another £3m to other creditors and football clubs.
They are about to be guilty of BTC which will sink them but Ticketus will sink them anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well mr hard worker ive been employed since 1963 and most of it self employed never been unemployed but hmrc made me bankrupt in december 2011 so does that make me a milkman ? there rules are pay immediately or we bankrupt you there guidlines are too high for a recession going on doug

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye ! still no paid

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you so concerned about our financil situation timmy ? Concentrate on your own. Thought you didnt care about the animals(as you sing in your song). so go and do me a foavour. get a manager that can actually manage his team. and a captain that can actually captain a team. and a chief exec that not a numpty. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok i'll do that when you get an owner that pays the bills, oh and a manger that can win more than 1 cup game out of 7 and that doesnt throw away a 15 point lead in the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I know the HMRC main witness was the guy who do e the contracts .they also have a trail of e mails left by agents.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like it Timalloy keep them wound up they will implode and all the Super Ally brigade laughable have u took 1 deck at his record sooo funny VEG

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm pretty sure it was only ever 9points. Green tinted glasses eh, always trying to make yourselves look superior.
28attempts to 6attempts on goal. Who's superior? Oh and just to put it out there.........WHEN I THINK OF CELTIC, I JUST CAN'T LAUGH ENOUGH, I JUST CAN'T LAUGH ENOUGH. Let's all do a poznan.

Leeroy

Agree0 Disagree0

Since all the celtic fans who pop on to our rumours forum seem to have a vast knowledge and unlimited accees to evidence of Rangers v HMRC im just a bit confused as to why none of them were never invited or came forward during the legal investigation to impart their knowledge

ED- any idea when D AND P will announce the preferred bidders -SHORTLIST {Ed001's Note - I am not sure they will, some bidders will not want to conduct business in the glare of the public eye.}

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Just before they go into a closed period but that could be anytime and as ED says they may not reveal bidders but wont go into closed period until they are happy with a couple of bids at least

Agree0 Disagree0

'Preferred' bidders haven't bid yet and never will lol!

Agree0 Disagree0

How can anyone possibly buy a football club on the QT?
All final bidders need to engage with fans and win us over surely? Fully under fan/ public scrutiny. All bidders are relying on our money!

Agree0 Disagree0

This date we all should be watching is the end date which is 14 May 2012, by which time any party intrested in buying Rangers must have made a bid that has been through the process and the money sources verified. Any preferred bidder may be given an exclusive period to run the club by putting money in and running the business. The danger is no takes exclusive use and this buyout continues into the close season, when no money is being generated and the bills have to be paid, (bearing in mind D&P employees are on £625 per hour). If you think this is tosh, please read the article in todays Herald

ESPANYOL are weighing up a summer swoop for Rangers star Sone Aluko.
However jimmy calderwood who keeps in regular contact with aluko says he loves life at rangers and would turn down moves elsewhere. We must do everything we can to tie soni up on a new contract, he is by far the best player we have and the only one who actually excites the fans.

Believable40 Unbelievable21

Heard the same with Weiss last year, aluko is a goner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo should get him tied up coz hes been brill for rangers since coming in come on the teddy bears

Agree0 Disagree0

Weiss was all show and no end product unlike aluko. the fact he paid to play for rangers speaks volumes about the lad. hope he's rewarded with a new contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

I fear that Sunday will be the highlight of Alukos Rangers careers as with perhaps many of them this was a great opportunity to put themselves in the shop window for when they become available in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Weiss was on loan, so we would have had to pay something like £4m for him!

Aluko is not on loan, just a new contract needed, the boy deserves it too, the one bright spark at Ibrox just now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Aluko wants to be in a Gers shirt. Hes not a high earner and should we come out of Admin for the summer I would bank on him still being at ibrox next season he is easily the best player in our team this year and only a complete idiot would let an asset like him walk away. He is probably the only player we have who could be the differance between winning and loosing in every game and im afraid we would struggle massively to replace him. Unfortunatly my friend Weiss not short on end product he had the highest assist rate in the SPL last season he was jus too expensive and earned too much for us to bring him in on a long term basis. Had these been better days though the thought of Weiss and Aluko in the same team does seem rather exciting =)

Blue Stu

Agree0 Disagree0

So long as we at least try to keep him.

Agree0 Disagree0

J taken over thats a joke....rangers on on the way to closing down....out of business...the lad will then be sold to pay something to the creditors.....enjoy the last few weeks of Rangers 1873....they will soon be history.....very dated history. {Ed001's Note - if Rangers fold, the players will have no contract and can not be sold to return money to the creditors.}
