Last week a coach leaves, now Pip Yates is off. Is the cost cutting starting?

Hopefully McCoist, McDowell & Durrant next!

All staff and operations from the club should have been looked at from top to bottom immediately after the takeover.

I don't think it's a clear out of staff who aren't needed because regardless of how good or bad they are or how rich or poor we are, every team needs a physio! And apparently pip Yates is well respected in his feild! Maybe its NOT a huge conspiracy and he has just left to further his own career as stated!

Never mind after the assets were bought. The redundancies should've happened as soon as Duff & Phelps came in as administrators! Which is what happens in any other administration process but not with those guys! Maybe liquidation could've been avoided if the correct administration was carried out. It didn't & we start again, move on & hopefully get back ASAP!

See the cost cutting won't have any effect on CG and his 2 pals taking their 100% bonus for winning the 3rd div that's almost another £1m out the club

Does McCoist play McCulloch upfront against Montrose, due to the lack of striking options?
Argyriou at right back and Hegarty at Centre Back.
Looks if Ian Black might be the only addition to the
squad from last weekends game against Stirling Albion.

I would if we want to score goals mcculloch is a ranger through an through and who can fault him, he will fire the team up so we finish this and start rebuilding for next year

I don't think Hegarty deserves a place. His passing is awful and he tends to ball watch.

Jig up top, faure in at cb and black back in middle. Best we can do right now
Agree0

To be honest lads as much as I hate to say it I would suggest we all brace ourselves for a slip-up (hope not). The squad we have for our next game is not going to cut it and hegarty is terrible in my eyes, faure and hegarty in the defence will not strike fear into anybodys soul. Black worries me with his current form, and big jig will have to fire us right up to scrape a win, without our missing players we are as suspect as it comes. I hope i'm wrong. james

Slip up versus Montrose?
God give me strength.

If it was me I'd just bring the lad burrows up from the reserves try him upfront with Jig if it doesn't work so be it atleast were trying something different that way!

We need to play 4-4-2 with jig upfront but centre back we only have Hegarty or Faure.
Agree0

Only options upfront are McCulloch, Naismith, Hemmings, Burrows, or Mackay.

Burrows is the quickest in the club, is strong, good in the air and has both feet. Let the lad have a run out!
Agree0

It's good to know Burrows has both feet: many of the those playing recently have performed like they only have one. literally!

Yes mate that's what I said and to be honest I don't really understand that statement. A slip up you should be used to seeing them by now going by the recent shoddy performances and the ones previous to that. point is were not anywhere near the standard we should be playing at and teams like montrose are coming out of the games the better team, that's the hard painful facts. james

Totally agree mate about a slip up being possible. If there are still those who think that we are still a force to be reckoned with, and the so called diddy teams are cannon fodder, then it is time to wake up! How many times this season have we watched teams play better football than us and show us up? Granted, we may have got the result, but come on, are we really happy the way we have been playing? And don't give me all this rubbish about playing surfaces, quality of the sides we are up against etc! Remember, we are the ones who shouted "No Excuses"
