Rangers will target the signing of Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan this summer, but the Edinburgh club will demand at least £500,000 for the player who has a year left on his contract. (The S*n, print edition)

Think they should pay the £500,000 to get him. The guy has been quality every time they have played us this season.
Would also look at Cummings from Hibs as well. Not the finished article, but has good movement and is quick. Just what we need up front.

Aye I agree. The lad Cummings has some nice touches and gets into good positions. And he has a nasty streak about him which I like. He's the kind opposition fans love to hate. Allan is the same. There's a kind of swagger about his play. I think he's going to be a top player. Let's hope it's with us.

Wow I posted same sort of thing after the second leg about Cummings and Allan everyone only seemed interested in Allan and dismissed Cummings glad to see I'm not alone in my thinking he could be moulded into a great striker provided we sort the coaching etc out. Do you guys think mccall is the long term answer thoughts please?

Scott Allan going no where LD has already said this and it wouldn't be for £500k would be nearer £800k but cumings and Allan going no where.

I agree. Would be a bargain for Allan. Cummings is a good player but going the wrong way. He's in my local Willie Hills loads, gambling on anything and everything,(except football to be fair) Including feeding the roulette machine with his mates. Garry O'Connor, Riordan et al were bad for it, hence moving away from Scotland. Bad gambling debts. He's still young, should stay away from that nonsense.

Aye I'd heard young Cummings was fond of a bet or two. That's a shame because he's a good player. Sounds like somebody needs to grab him by the scruff and give him a severe talking to. Where's Souness when you need him?
