I do believe the kyle latterty rumour could be true, reason being I walked him and his fiancé around a new build house on our building site 2 weeks ago.

Kyle Lafferty got married in the church round the corner from my house about 4 or 5 years ago. I remember Kirk Broadford got fined for his car being parked on a zig zag line. Doubt it was his fiance if anyone he was with.

One of the other posters on here last week said kyle lafferty was coming back to rangers on a 6 month loan deal. I was also told this by a usually reliable source last night and my source even told me that lafferty, his agent and rangers managing director, stuart robertson all had talks regarding this deal last Wednesday.

lafferty is supposedly desperate to make the move happen and has seemingly turned down other loan moves in favour of rangers. I personally hope not as I don't want him anywhere near our club ever again. has any other rangers fan heard anything regarding this?

27 Nov 2015 13:07:36
Haven't heard this Warbs, but hope it doesn't happen. Apart from the fact that he bailed on us, he only started to play when a new deal was on the cards. So bad his second touch was a tackle. Not for me.

I certainly don't disagree with any of use 2 guys on lafferty but if mw wanted him I'd accept him back as long as there was no nonsense with him. The 2 that I wouldn't accept back would be naismith and whittaker after the interview they give where they basically said that they had no loyalty to the new rangers. Personally I can't see lafferty returning.

27 Nov 2015 15:43:38
Whilst I agree that they would not be welcome back, if your employer asked you to take a wage cut to save the business, but liquidated it anyway, would you want to work for them? I wouldn't. I don't blame them for walking away, I would have done the same in their situation. Why give loyalty to an employer who gave no loyalty to you. Now we have new owners, why not come back?

27 Nov 2015 16:09:12
I first broke The news my aunt knows his mum, fact. If he can do a job why not, we should get out from behindt he couch and push on. Like someone said Naismith, whittakerand mcgregor are not welcome especially Naismith, little troll.

27 Nov 2015 16:40:38
I'd give Charles Green a game before big Laughin'gas. Never rated him and he was another that couldn't wait to move. Loyalties aside, I reckon he's clueless anyway. can't head a ball, limbos under cross balls, first touch is a pass, etc.

27 Nov 2015 16:53:01
Am no fan of Kyle Lafferty but if MW thinks he would be good for the squad then you know what, I will back the guy.

27 Nov 2015 14:25:01
Cant see lafferty back if I'm honest, if it is only 2 players coming in I'm hoping for an experienced centre back to pair with rob kiernan and to get a good goal scoring centre forward in that would see waghorn pushed out right and barrie mckay on the left as our front 3.

27 Nov 2015 17:51:05
Blue wookie I think that's a bit unfair I've seen him play for northern ireland and on his day he is unplayable especially during our euro qualifying campaign.

27 Nov 2015 19:25:57
Hi Hooly, I hear what you're saying but the odd half-decent game aside I honestly can't see where or how he would fit in to our team. He's hopeless in the air and not the best with his back to goal either. We won't get many games where the opposition will come out and play so he won't get the space to run in behind.

27 Nov 2015 18:03:47
i would have nothing agaist mcgregor davis or whittaker returning but never naithsmith he started the moves for the walkout albeit ecouraged by green lafferty left glasgow uder a cloud after trashinng his appartment and various other misdemeanours if he retured he would need to toe the party line.

27 Nov 2015 19:26:38
Albertz, you're missing the whole point about WHY us rangers fans don't want lafferty, naismith, whittaker etc ever back at our club, they could have stayed and got the club some money for them but oh no not they wasters, they wanted to jump right away and especially after how good the club was to them, I remember mccoist saying at the time that the club wouldn't stand in their way but would hopefully get a small fee, so albertz that's why we don't want these mercenaries anywhere near our beloved club!

27 Nov 2015 21:35:05
I know what your saying mate but the club wouldn't of got the money big hands from Yorkshire would of gobbled it up.

27 Nov 2015 22:05:23
Hooly78 mate, I'm going to ask you a straight question here, do you think that kyle lafferty will be back at rangers on a 6 month loan deal?

27 Nov 2015 22:10:42
Hooly78, my country scotland won't be at the european championships in france 2016, unfortunately mate, but I do hope your country, northern ireland does very well. I personally will be rooting for you guys so 'awe the best pal'!

28 Nov 2015 06:11:37
I don't think so. There has been nothing in the local papers about rangers return, just linked with Leeds but ill tell you one thing if he came in and stayed fit he would score more goals than Clarke and Miller combined. Lafferty is a really good lad but daft as a brush if he got his head right he would get us promoted. But I personally think he will end up in English championship.

28 Nov 2015 11:46:52
Know what lads, I'm in agreement with the whole jumping ship thing BUT if he were to improve our team then why not? Pretty sure the days of being loyal touch your team no matter what are long gone. Players now just want the money, so if he is to come back and knuckle down and give us his best then feck it, let's use him just as he will undoubtedly use us. I'll still cheer when he finds the back of the old onion bag, it's all about the team for me fellas, not just one kay nob!

28 Nov 2015 12:50:52
Some of the comments are very petty. Fair enough Naismith not being welcomed after his comments but can you really blame the others for moving on.

The whole argument about them getting cash for the club is nonsense- green and co would have taken it just like the rest of our cash.

Reality is we are struggling at the moment. We lack any cutting edge and are in desperate need for something different up front. Lafferty is in desperate need of goals and game time ahead of euros. Pettiness aside is seems a reasonable move.

28 Nov 2015 12:43:36
Can I just say something about the players that left, if they did stay and got the club millions in transfer fees, I wonder if the money would have been invested back into the club, my opinion is it wasn't, but I agree with most fans, Steven Davis was of only a couple of players that got us a fee, btw how good has Davis been at Southampton, just shows us how good a team we had.

28 Nov 2015 14:54:24
That's not the point tp9. They should have stayed because it was the morally correct thing to do as Rangers was "their" club and deserved the fees due it. Whether it was invested or not is a moot point.

30 Nov 2015 16:35:29
That's right Pie and bovril. The guys who wanted to leave but made sure the club got something for them did it the right way imo. The American lads to a man behaved impeccably. Carlos Bocanegra still had hopes of captaining his country though he was reaching the end of his career. He didn't rush away but waited for his move. The guy is clasd.
