Kyle Barkley back to rangers heard it here first.

28 Jan 2018 20:04:53
I'd be happy with that.
The big man is a solid passionate player the kind it's easy to support.

28 Jan 2018 20:09:30
What’s the source mate? . Take him in a heartbeat

28 Jan 2018 20:18:17
Would be another great signing however would be a costly one after a successful loan period at Leeds and now back in Swansea first team.

28 Jan 2018 20:45:04
Seen some rumour on HITC when you google HITC Rangers, they normally respond to social media rumours but it says he’s not getting a game at Swansea and may be loaned out for 5 months. He’d be decent and definitely fill any void that Wilson may leave in the squad!

28 Jan 2018 20:47:06
I take it you seen the story on the paper as well saying we should try and sign him? Lol

28 Jan 2018 20:53:43
Meant to be loan deal with option to buy as not getting game time with Swansea source was close family member who is good friends with john v (football agent)

28 Jan 2018 20:59:54
Barkley played in his club first team yesterday. This is not going to happen unless his contract has run down which I don't believe to be the case.

28 Jan 2018 21:01:00
This isn't the first place I heard this so you're wrong there. Would take him though

28 Jan 2018 21:05:35
also not the first place i heard it

28 Jan 2018 21:08:12
They are in talks now believe me the source was a few rangers players agents back in the day he did say they are in talks 👍

28 Jan 2018 21:12:18
Yea watched him the other day - always liked him but he was missing in action several times yesterday! But hey maybe he needs game time!

28 Jan 2018 21:17:18
I think you all mean Kyle BARTLEY! clueless

28 Jan 2018 21:52:12
I think that was a given China but thanks for that

28 Jan 2018 22:00:31
Thank you China, was doing my head in too

28 Jan 2018 22:16:58
Would take bartley n mcburnie for alfredo in a swap

28 Jan 2018 23:41:55
To be honest Rangers are on the ascendancy and Kyle Bartley would probably therefore come back in a heartbeat but paying a fee and wages would be quite costly Your talking around 2m plus wages of around 15k a week! Swansea may well be on their way down to the Championship so would be a good deal for both Swansea and the player but Rangers would only consider paying those wages if the transfer was around half of the asking price of 2m

29 Jan 2018 09:43:02
Isnt he out injured for the next few months am sure a read it somewhere?

29 Jan 2018 10:39:56
While I thought Bartley was a good player when he was with us, I'd rather look to younger, promising and probably cheaper players. Souttar at hearts, McKenna at Aberdeen for example. I am sure there's lad's down in England with potential. Like Declan John for example

29 Jan 2018 12:50:42
I do like the look of McKenna, (especially after his 40 yarder the other day) but I can't see the sheep dippers being that easy to deal with somehow.

29 Jan 2018 13:14:14
Blue berry he’s only 26 he isn’t even in his prime yet.

I would take him in a heart beat. He’s better than Bates will ever be. While I fully support him as I do with every Rangers player Bates reminds be of Kirk clubfoot limited ability clumsy and won’t get much better than he is the now. Dare say al get abuse for my opinion.

29 Jan 2018 13:16:30
McKenna is not a cheaper option. We'd need to make Aberdeen an offer they couldn't refuse before they'd sell to us.

29 Jan 2018 17:48:00
Folk are talking about £2m for Bartley. McKenna would cost a lot less than that. Not against signing Bartley just think we should look at boy's like McKenna. Missed a trick not going for Liam Lyndsey in the summer

29 Jan 2018 18:31:08
Btw HITC is absolute dung. Cannot believe how much exposure that website gets.

29 Jan 2018 20:23:09
Would take Kyle on deal of a hat but if Murtyis right then it will be exciting last few days and listening to talk sport there and all these sceptic fans ranting and raving about this madonda he was on loan to betis last year played 24 games scores 1 so let's see how good he is as celtic will be worried now that we are bak

28 Jan 2018 09:39:09
First time post guys. My young cousin is currently dating one of our top prospects, and he tells me that Lee Wallace has been tasked with the roll of centre back along side Russell Martin. Does anyone think this could potentially be a good partnership?

28 Jan 2018 12:01:01
Whos the prospects?

28 Jan 2018 12:19:12
why is it that as soon as i read something like first time post or my friends uncle or an unnamed player told me! it stinks of the green mob? maybe that's why ed posted an article on that mob because most of them are on here . all about the famous heh!

28 Jan 2018 12:26:16
True story!

28 Jan 2018 12:46:54
Briangersfan do you just accuse every rumour you haven't already read in the paper as being a Celtic fan? How would a Celtic fan gain anything from this post? It's not a negative about the club. fail to understand where you are coming from here.

28 Jan 2018 13:08:28
ocean green you fail to understand where i'm coming from.? really? well as you are a first time poster on our page i would like to welcome you to the rangers supporters rumours page . and although you may find it hard to believe a good few green noses have been on here trying there best (god love them ) to wind us up. i'm not saying the above poster is a celtic supporter but many of you lot who do write on here are as first time posters . understand that? good now away back to your own rumours page

28 Jan 2018 13:25:06
How could the above post be a wind up tho? Wallace in cb wow some wind up that. Hope the above is true to put you in your place. Your probs one of the many who slaughtered the guys who first mentioned the Barton deal and MOH deal eh? Look how they went Stick to reading the s*n.

28 Jan 2018 13:28:18
Briangersfan from cork? Ayeeee And I'm suppose to be the Celtic fan here.

28 Jan 2018 13:36:34
ocean green
living in cork not from cork if you read it properly

28 Jan 2018 13:41:28
ocean green why does it bother you where i come from or are living? are you serious in thinking that every one in cork are celtic fans? grow up

28 Jan 2018 14:25:32
put a cork in it

28 Jan 2018 15:11:15
It's true enough though Brian, I can't work out where you get that this could be a wind up from a Celtic fan? If that's a wind up, it's the worst, most pointless wind up i've ever heard.

28 Jan 2018 16:26:19
People do know people who know players. Its not impossible. I know Greg Docherty's uncle and know Lewis Morgan's dad. I know Danny Griffon who coaches at St Johnstone and my son is in the same class at school as Raith Rovers keeper, Kevin Cuthbert, so maybe the original poster does know someone!

28 Jan 2018 16:30:56
Negri i don't think he is meaning what it says in the post, its More the First time poster here, which a lot of Manky fans try to use or start with.

28 Jan 2018 17:26:25
Hand bags pmsl bears and dhims

28 Jan 2018 17:27:38
Wallace is no more than a back up LB and I wouldn't be apposed to selling him!

28 Jan 2018 17:37:16
exactly! thanks alex1972 that's what i was saying!
jeeze hard going!

28 Jan 2018 18:28:02
Pair of Corks

28 Jan 2018 18:37:46
If Wallace wants to leave let him leave, he is the only one who dug in and stuck with us. Probably past his best, but I will always have time for him

28 Jan 2018 21:02:07
Hot prospect, that's the name of Jimmy Nichol's dug. must be true

29 Jan 2018 09:02:37
and some 'possible' celtic fan's post on here has a sole purpose off getting you guys wound up - i'm just scrolling here and it seems he's done his job - all arguing amongst yourselves. i'm even laughing at this.

29 Jan 2018 09:02:56
Lee Wallace is the club captain and once he’s fit I believe he will reclaim his starting berth at LB, I like Declan John but I still feel he is not the finished article. The competition fo positions will make or break players and Wallace will make it. IMO

28 Jan 2018 00:12:08
With Wilson away, alves a cert to be away for the summer and cardoso clearly not fancied, the cb position will need addressed in the summer. Hope mark Allen is reading this because this is the best solution he will come across. Jack Robinson. . came through the ranks at Liverpool and was actually the youngest player to make their debut for them for a period.

Now at qpr, he lost the last 2 years of his career to injury. This year however, he's pretty much been an ever present and Holloway says he's the first name on the team sheet. Formerly a left back, he's been converted to cb and has excelled. Not the tallest for a cb but he's quick and mobile and has the heart of a lion. The cherry on the cake is that we can sign him on a pre contact right now. Thoughts? ?

28 Jan 2018 01:27:24
I can't claim to know anything about the boy but young promising lads has to be the way forward for us. It stands to reason that signing up young players with potential is the way forward.

28 Jan 2018 08:07:36
Mccrorie is a CH, we have Bates, will prob make Martin deal permanent, we have A Wilson out on loan that’s 4 even if Both Portuguese CHs leave.
Personally I would like Martin plus McCrorie with Bates and Cardoso back up.
I don’t know the player you are talking about but he sounds like he could do a job however with his previous injury record it probably safer to look elsewhere as we can’t afford another wage sitting in the stands.
Fair play with this post I like hearing of achievable targets that haven’t been mentioned previously 👍🏻

28 Jan 2018 09:44:44
Sneaky suspicion DoF doesn’t get his info from a rumours page 😂 You’re right though he’s a good shout

28 Jan 2018 23:26:53
Bates hasn't put a foot wrong for me the Ginger Maldini and Martin my 2 preffered cbs

27 Jan 2018 22:45:32
Most won't believe this however it's 100% true and came from a current player. Bruno alves is on a HUGE win bonus. If alves starts and rangers win Bruno alves get £50000 per week. Shocking.

28 Jan 2018 00:40:34
Better not be true

28 Jan 2018 00:47:38
No player told you that. Its just nonsense.

28 Jan 2018 01:04:47
Oceanblue ---- what UTTER UTTER UTTER HORSESH*t

28 Jan 2018 01:20:31
obviously Alves is not on £50k a week. If u believe that then you are an idiot.

We made some great signings in this window, if we offload some of the fringe players such as Herrera, Wilson, hodgson, forrester, Pena etc then we have a decent chance next season

28 Jan 2018 02:16:34
Not having that. No way the board would sanction a potential 50k per week wage. I doubt anyone at Rangers at any time in our history has been on 50k a week. Totally unbelievable rumour IMO.

28 Jan 2018 04:56:23
Wouldn't be surprised lol. this alves signing has been strange.1 minute he's leavn to Italy team Benevento then stays. then a Italian team he was set to sign for couldn't afford his wages. he went off against Celtic fake injury when going gets tough.

28 Jan 2018 05:20:19
100% Fact. here is another for you - taking away EBT's and purely on his per week contract Carlos Pena at 35K a week is the highest ever paid player in rangers history (due to Bruno's coming from a start and win bonus) . Another one yous won't believe yet 100% true and disgusting.

28 Jan 2018 05:52:50
Pena 35k no chance

28 Jan 2018 06:11:07
Oceanblue? Wrong colour there mate ocean green more like! Away back to your own rumour page jeeze they are totally obsessed! Next year lads you will be greetin yer eyes out!

28 Jan 2018 06:16:27
Cawrfc how was Alves injury fake

28 Jan 2018 08:17:37
Based on how prudent Rangers have been on the majority of transfer dealings over the past 4 windows since being back in top flight it would make no sense for Rangers to sanction £35k or £50k.
We like most clubs sanction 2-3 deals for top earners. It was reported that Pena was on £28k with a £2.2m fee to purchase him and that was the highest package. Alves was £500k and reportedly earns somewhere in the region of £20k. Most of the squad earn £5k-£15k with a recent article in paper suggesting an average wage of £7k
Despite not expecting to win the league when the season started there’s no doubt Rangers would be expecting to win plenty of games so wouldn’t sanction £25-30k win bonus, they may of offered a performance based enhanced payment if we win Leagues or Cups but weekly win bonuses tend to be closer to the £1k mark

28 Jan 2018 09:13:00
Correct "reported" however this is fact. I will accept apologies once this becomes common knowledge.

28 Jan 2018 09:25:44
The salary quoted for Alves is per annum not per week.

28 Jan 2018 11:02:46
Ocean Blue i fully believe the Pena and Alves rumours. We had a very shambolic recruitment in the summer where we arrogantly expected to walk into Europe and well we didn't make that happen. Every single transfer window for the last 3 or 4 we come out the other side with massive smiles and optomisim. Things again haven't worked out during any of the previous window. How many of us on here 2 years ago would have laughed a poster off the sight if he said "in 2 years the mighty glasgow Rangers would be recruiting players from Hamilton and chasing waifes and strays. Anyone with a link to Rangers who can kick a ball. This window has to work. We have been a laughing stock for to long. To much of our buisneess in the papers, shocking appointments, managerless for far to long and then bending over to give it to the guy who should have got it in the first place. We waited to get custard pied by a few and then gave it to the cheap option. Who was always the best option in my opinion. We have to get the big earners gone this window. Pay them off get them gone. Nobody will buy them. Pena another one who may be back because he is rotten even in Mexico. Big wages long contracts.

28 Jan 2018 11:10:36
JM22 players easily were on 50k a week during the EBT double contract era. Klos, de boer all the high hitters wouldve been up there

28 Jan 2018 12:32:06
big cliff! you actually believe that post from a green nose? c'mon my man get a grip or go and jump off a big cliff! we are no different from any other club some signings work some don't and please don't start knocking hamilton players i remember getting great players from ayr motherwell and please let's not forget where davie cooper came from (clydebank) to name a few! you should think a little before you come out with that guff!

28 Jan 2018 12:42:01
Ocean blue - what a load of rubbish- £50k per week, I would suggest no more than £20k and look forward to removing before the end of the window along with krancar wage which I have heard is the same.

28 Jan 2018 13:28:32
I am not here to defend Bruno Alves but let's get the following points clear,

Why do we have section of our fans who hate him and complain about what he is paid etc?

He is paid whatever the club think he is worth due to his vast experience, and why shouldn't he accept the money

Bruno Alves has won titles in Portugal, Russia and Turkey and also a Euro champions for Portugal, he is not "frightened" of Celtic in fact he played against them for Fenerbache when he showed Brown who was boss and put him on his backside, the guy has faced more difficult and frightening teams in Russia, Turkey and Italy without being "frightened"
How many of the current squad would get into these teams that he has played for, and how many have actually won any honours?

To suggest that he is scared and pretending he is injured is absolutely ludicrous, unfortunately he just happens to one of a long list of injured players at the moment. Millar, Jack, Dorrans, McRorie, Wallace etc.
Criticsm is fine when it is due, but there seems to be people just jumping on the bandwagon,
Lets support all of our players fit or injured!

28 Jan 2018 13:35:17
If u look at pena wages he is on around about 30k mark so alves is certainly going to want the same if not more with bonuses ect.
we have form for offering high wages to get a big name player in just look at senderos kranjcar barton signings.
This is why danny wilson probaly wanted more wages seeing the wages some of these players are on

28 Jan 2018 13:43:16
I get you Briangersfan, my point is that you would have been laughed off the site 2 years ago for saying in 2 years time we will be buying Hamilton players. Past players and legends have appeared from all levels of the game. i'm not knocking any teams. We seem to be exstatic with every window for the last 3 or 4 at least. Then the boo's ring round the stadium. To many players have gone to Glasgow recentley and struggled. Big expectations on you. Have we improved massively, i hope so. This time. Then back to square one again if loans like Cummings are successful and the clubs take them back to punt them to the highest bidder. i'm pretty sure we will be guaranteed Martin will stay. Last chance saloon for him and agreement in place for Murphy.

28 Jan 2018 14:13:45
@Paul86, no chance Klos or De Boer were on 50k. I reckon Robbie Keane would have been the biggest earner is Scottish football history and Desmond funded that with his own momey by all accounts.

28 Jan 2018 14:50:21
i agree big cliff mate buying they we we are is the way it is going to be. 3 or 4 years ago we thought we may possibly not have a club but we are still here and getting stronger i hope . yes we are always encourage by new signings especially after league 2. dimal times but we are getting there of that i'm sure keep believe big cliff it will be so sweet when our time comes
