Ally comments about claros. Not in a position to offer him a contract YET. We will sit down with him and his agent on Monday. Looks like he will b offered a deal when players are sold/loaned.

Claros will not sign. His manager stated they are both unhappy at the way they have been treated by rangers. Apparently we did not say that any deal relied on getting Elle out as we ad no money. The manager of Montague has said he feels both the club and the player should have been made aware of this fact.

Should that not be IF players are sold/loaned

Claros is already back in Honduras. He was released from his trial after Motagua found out Rangers weren't willing to pay a fee barring a couple of big sales.

I think Craig Whyte is just a cover story for someone else (could be David Murray or another unknown) as should he fail to keep the club afloat for 90 days after the result of the EBT Tax case, then Murray can cancel the whole deal. This is the basis of the agreement as I understand it. It is also possible that Lloyds/Bank of Scotland are first in line to be paid there £18m as there is no proof that Whyte has actually cleared/transfered the date. Some of the details of the agreement to sell Rangers can be found on line with details explaining this, but I suspect there are a whole lot more documents not in the public domain. This is either very clever or very stupid by DM

Just been on everton rumour site and to say their supporters aren't keen on jelavic is somewhat of an understatement. i know they have funds with the sale of two of their players but still i can't see them parting with 7.5m

Personally, I'd like to see us get rid of him but not now with the closing of the transfer window a whisper away. We needed at least 3 new FW signings even if Jelavic stayed but that's not going to happen and if he does go now we're screwed for a replacement nevermind the much needed reinforcements. So, for that reason alone I hope he stays but other than that I'd have been more than happy for him to go.

Ed I'm going bit of track here but how can everton be so skint wen they in epl every season... Not to mention the players they sell where does there cash go ? I no debt but what debt? {Ed014's Note - The club has been up for sale for years.They need a new stadium,struggle to pay every bill, make losses every year etc It is well documented, a simple google search of "Everton Debt" should explain it better.}

Arteta had to take a pay-cut to sign for Arsenal (a more glamorous team who won't win anything either). The perennially potless "toffees" maybe need to take a look at their wage structure.

You cant just release players on frees like in the old championship manager games. if you want to terminate a contract you have to pay the wages that player was due until the end of the contract as a lump sum.

We really need to get Sone Aluko tied up on a longer deal. He really has been impressive since he signed. His contract is only till the end of the season, there's def gonna b interest in him from clubs that can pay bigger wages( that's a lot of clubs). Forward players need to b a priority for us.......
