Newco Rangers boss Ally McCoist admits American Alejandro Bedoya will quit Ibrox and he expects others to follow him.
McCoist said: "Bedoya said on Friday there was an opportunity for him to go to Helsingborg, I think it was.
"I tried to talk him out of it but it looks to have been unsuccessful.”

Another USA international Maurice Edu didn't play in the 2-1 Ramsdens Cup win at Brechin because of injury but he could still leave along with fellow countryman Carlos Bocanegro and Romanian Dorin Goian,who both played at Glebe Park.
McCoist added.: "You would have to ask them. I'm hopeful but I'm realistic enough to know there is an opportunity for one or two to dive out of the window. I hope that won't be the case but I'm not daft."

McCoist is bidding to sign former Kilmarnock player Dean Shiels and Greek midfielder Pantelis Kafes this week and has pledged to make a raft of new signings before the club's transfer ban kicks in on September 1.

He explained: "We need to build a squad for the next 18 months to two years and we've got to do that in the next four weeks."

Anyone know why Rangers wore last season's home shorts today ? And why they had no Irn Bru SFL arm badges either ?

They wore this seasons 'spirit of 72' kit, and the irn-bru SFL badges weren't worn because it was the Ramsdens cup we were playing in, not the league.... hope that helps fellow bear

Couldn't wear SFL logo as still not officially a member, today's game was played on a "conditional" basis. Also the lack of the five stars on badge surely put to bed any notion that the oldco honours transferred to sevco. The shorts were bizarre touch.

Also why did the coaching staff have last years kit as well all they're jackets had five stars above the badge. They maybe didn't get the new kit in on time as there is only a tempory licence issued

The 5 stars are sewn into the seam down the side of the shirt.

The 5 stars were removed when the spirit of 72 kit was released because the crest is massive like it was back in the day

Guys read the post he said SHORTS not shirts and he was right it was last seasons shorts they used today with this seasons retro shirt , that is very strange indeed

The no 12 strip was retired in SPL
In SFL numbers are 1 - whatever - - oldstyle - not squad numbers

Rangers still have 5 stars on new kit, tho it's down the side next to the tailored by & as for coaching staff wearing last seasons kit, they actually wore this seasons ya plank, last seasons was red with blue :)

People obviously don't know the new top so well... The stars haven't been removed completely they have been moved to the seam on the left ham side of the top and the stars are coloured blue so aren't entirely visible but are still there....

They wore this seasons shirt its been out for weeks get out and buy one and you will see 5 stars are down the side the shirt was brought out before liqudation but will still be used as all rights to the badge ect were bought also. watching on bbc isnt following your team so get out and buy the shirt or get to a game!

I think you will find the "theat" to strip titles is from oldco as sevco don't have any titles etc for them to be stripped away.

It's only the home kit whats spirit of '72, the rest of the rangers kits and training stuff will have the five stars.

SEvco is resisting the EBT investigation because of 18 available punishments to the new club. Green doesn't care about the old club's titles, the issue is also possible fines and points deductions. SPL is insisting he accept punishments on newco to do more than strip titles from oldco.
It doesn't mean anything about history continuing.
The old club retired number 12. The new club being different is playing it.
The strips were the pre liquidation strips. New designs to be released on approval of SFA.

The stars aren't missing their just planked up their duke to hide them from the spl what normal people do with things they stole

New strip has 5 stars in blue down seam. All other kit, training gear etc still maintains the 5 stars above the smaller crest. As for the shorts, hadnt noticed prob something to do with the numbers on the shorts which is unusual for us.

When green found out he didnt get the players they transferred over last years shorts as something of equal value

Think he must be away or close to being away with him nowhere to be seen or even on the bench, good luck to him, didn't get much of a chance last season and even when did he didn't impress too much

Rumour is he is signing for a Swedish team; think it is Helsingborg !?!....I think that's what I read earlier somewhere online today.

For those moaning about the standard of today's game - ffs the players have had NO pre-season games, but get used to it because all the teams in Div3 will scrap when they play us -support the team!

To the 'raging bear' how can you say that was a disgrace? It was the 1st game of the season from a club who haven't had a pre season and beat a club in a league ABOVE us! Sure it wasn't the greatest performance but am afraid it's something we're gonna have to get used to..... We can't possibly play attractive football every week in the lower leagues. And as for sayin you won't be back.....well don't come back then! We don't need fans who walk away after 1 performance that didn't suit! After all the recent troubles we've had you should just be grateful like the rest of us that we still have a club to follow! And if you walk away now don't even think about coming back when we're back in the spl winnin titles again! We don't need that type of fan...... Good riddance to you!

Remember fans-the SPL and co have mucked us about for the last few months. How could we have a settled side focused completely on the game. When we get a licence and get settled we'll do alright. As for Dean Shiels-a good player who could score 20 goals in Div 3. Keep the faith. Roy.

YOU cannot judge a full season off one game. Same retards that judged Mcoist for his forst game performance. Rnagers will get better once the moral increases and the dust settles from the aftermath on Admin/Liq.

If you don't want to spend money on the club don't bother. All us true fans will be there supporting our team week in week out regardless.

Have Edu, Bocanegra and Goian agreed to transfer their contracts? And if so surely we must receive a transfer fee if they leave.

Rangers will receive a fee if an offer comes in and they want to leave.

Should get rid of them now time to play all youths build a solid good team , please ally change tactics , this is the time to try and play good attacking one touch football , pack in the long ball crap, no disrespect to div 3 teams but this current rangers squad should be taking at least 3-4 goals a game, but good to get first game out of the way.

All three will be gone before friday source ...... common sense ... doh ...!!

Was not that long ago there was an offer of about �800,000 for Edu, so can't of gone down by that much!

Can anyone update me on the latest situation for season tickets have we to wait till Friday next week before we renew our tickets, also will new renewal forms be sent out?

The Rangers website has all the answers.

ON Monday the Club communicated season ticket prices for 12/13 and we are now in a position to confirm that all season ticket holders will receive a new season ticket renewal form in the post from Wednesday 31 July next week.

NB: Season ticket holders who have already renewed with the original form and pricing from June will not receive a new form. Where payment has already been made the Club will credit the season ticket holder with the appropriate amount above and where payment has not been taken the Club will charge the amount of your new ticket.

The season ticket deadline is now Tuesday 7 August 2012. From Tuesday 14 August the Club will open season ticket sales to supporters for all areas of the stadium.Hope this helps.

You can renew online or by phone from tomorrow (Monday) and all current holders will have been sent renewal letters by Wednesday.

I have heard from an impeccable source Sevco Scotland will be in administration by November. It will be difficult for them to realise a profit by selling the club on particularly as a fraud investigation into the business of old rangers is now gaining momentum and targeting individuals
