claims/rumours we pay £278k each month to someone??

King promised transparency, if this was not true - he would say its false. King never said this false.

King makes big deal of the Ashley retail deal, which is £3m/year at tops, but the rent is £4m/year and claims it gets higher if we get back to SPFL????

if you sorting our finances , start with biggest issue first, not a billionaire and a £3m/year deal - where just £5m payout fixes it.

Scott Allan on his way to Tannadice after hibs accept 275,000 bid plus add-ons. Hope this isn't true.

29 Jul 2015 17:57:20
God I hope not can't see him going back there I think he,ll sit tight till january then sign a pre contract with us

Agree4 Disagree0

29 Jul 2015 17:57:50
Regardless of what bids (if true) that hibs accept. If Allan really wants to play for us then he just refuses every other option. He has no need to sign for anyone else apart from Rangers if that's where his heart really wants to be. All it will take is time and patience. If he refuses to go to anyone else them simply they sell to us now and get some money or they don't and he signs a pre contract in January and they get nothing. It's really that simple if that what Allan wants.

Don't believe it. in saying that ,nothing would surprise me. Petrie,Thomson and Lawwell capable of anything.

{Ed039's Note - What would it have to do with Lawell??)

29 Jul 2015 18:48:22
Totally agree Goatboydundee. If we really are his boyhood heroes (which I believe we are) then he will do whatever it takes, even if that means waiting a few more months. Really hope we see the lad in a Rangers top sometime soon.

29 Jul 2015 18:52:43
Lawell?WTF has he got to do with this? Some would ask why you never threw Kings name into the mix if that's the case.

{Ed039's Note - Didnt I just ask that question?)

29 Jul 2015 20:25:42
Call it what you will, clique, cabal, bloc. Petrie,Thomson and Lawwel have a vested interest in frustrating Us in transfer market and SPFL board issues.
Petrie is no fan of Rangers-selling SA to Thomson is an attractive option . as Dundee Utd are effectively Celtic's feeder club ,it's not out the question the next move would be to Parkhead.

hibs may have excepted an offer from dundee utd but allan does not have to sign and I am quite sure the player had enough of thr thompsons before if they have made a bid it will only be to placate the fans and the manager for continually selling to celtic knowing there was no chance of allan signing for them

I know Ibrox is a stunning spectacle but there was talk that it was getting fully refurbished!?

I'm also led to believe there was a possibility of filling all four corners and having two screens sitting on top of Broomloan and Copland!

This surely would take the capacity near 60,000?

Wait till we are back in the SPL Kaz then deal with that most important thing is firstly get promotion :D

at the minute we can't get 40.000 in that's in futre filling the corners in would not be worth it just now be content with upgrading toilets

29 Jul 2015 17:58:48
Not high on the boards list to do I would imagine. let's try and fill it with 51,000 on a regular basis first. The Stadium needs a revamp but it doesn't need an extra 8000 seats that's for sure.

29 Jul 2015 18:58:49
We should have filled in the corners 20 years ago and instead of loosing millions every year on signings we couldn't afford we would have made the money to pay for those players. As much as I dislike the shite they did up there stadium when we were burning money like there was no tomorrow we went tits up deserted by those responsible sold to someone even worse while the manky mob are going strong and fair to them they certainly made the better decision than sir nae legs so defo fill in the corners and increase our income in the long term

Agree3 Disagree3

31 Jul 2015 11:59:39
I've been saying for years (before admin) that we had to fill the corners in but I was led to believe that due to the front of Ibrox being a listed building we were not allowed to touch it.

May not mean that it can't be modified but does mean that if someone wanted to knock Ibrox down and build a whole new stadium, then that part would have to remain.

Last week I told people on here that Aberdeen would be in for Scott Allan and now proved to be true

Rangers second bid of £225,000 was mooted two days before the 6-2 victory over Hibs in the Petrofac cup!

The player has just handed in his transfer request, in the hope he wins a deal with his boyhood heroes!

Aberdeen have now reportedly come in with the biggest offer to date with £250,000 but this should be irrelevant, given that the player wants a Rangers move

Some can argue, that when the real stuff begins that Rangers will not have another easy result against their biggest rivals!

Personally, Hibs with our without Scott Allan will come short to Rangers, come the end of the season

Now if this is true, not only will Hibs have another year in the Championship, if fail to get first place or are beaten within the playoffs, they will also lose out on a fee

For Hubs sake the quicker this goes through the better, so they can reinforce

For me, I'd rather Rangers didn't go in with another bid for the star man, but having handed in his request, I really don't see any other option

The player has done his bit, so here's hoping Rangers can now meet him halfway and come in with an improved offer

C'mon guys test the resolve and get £300,000 on the table

If it fails least again you can say you tried to negotiate with Hibs!

Aberdeen are not interested in the scott Allan.

Agree6 Disagree0

29 Jul 2015 07:51:03
I think McInnes came out and said publicly he was not interested, the sheep have too many midfielders in that mould anyways.

450k and Petrie will accept. People touting 450k going to 650k if we get promotion. Which I think is a fair deal.

P.s. its unbelieveable the abuse we've been getting, considering everyone in the press, tims, etc have seemingly forgot their raid of Dundee Utd for GMS and Armstrong!

Agree9 Disagree0

29 Jul 2015 09:08:50
I completely understand Hibs position it the way the see it is they a practically giving away their best player to their promotion rivals. But I also don't see how its possible for him to stay there now, hibs have kind of backed themselves into a corner by partiality accepting the request as they will need to sell him now.

so if Rangers eventually offer something in the region of 500k are they going to accept a lower amount from another club? I know its early days but I think we will win the league without allan so it doesn't make a difference really to hibs unless they feel they might not make the playoffs without him.

Agree3 Disagree0

29 Jul 2015 11:52:36
Scott Allan at 500k would be an absolute bargain, look at Cifti who went for one and a half million. Does anybody really think he is three times the player that Allan is?

OK, Celtic had to pay over the odds but Wigan I think were ready to match that valuation.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Jul 2015 10:30:57
maybe just me - but when was the last time an SPL team bid 500k for a player from another SPL team (Cltic trading with their junior team excluded). WE ARE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP, bidding for a player from another championship team.
In fact what is the transfer record between 2 teams who are the Championship for the 2nd year in row.
Why? because it is Rangers (who every other site has us as broke & can't pay the electric bill btw)is it ok to demand silly money for a player still unproven, and in the last year of his contract, when he can walk away for nothing ( the same as they paid for him btw)
One more bid 275k - & walk.
Enough easy pay days from Ibrox.
