INTR, that story was from an interview where he said he planned on finishing his career at Malmo. As he's still really young that could be 10 years away. I have a feeling that somebody was trying to cause a story with that one.

Don’t see it highlandbear. He’s too awful with the ball at his feet and he’s prone to positional mistakes. He’ll never be at the level of helander, balogun or goldson in my opinion.

My own personal guess on this would be jordan jones, george edmundson and brandon barker will all be sold and won't play for rangers again 🤔
Unfortunately, as i quite liked big katic, that i see his future away from rangers also! I think he also may well have played his last game for rangers!

steven gerrard loyal i agree with you that edmundson, barker and jones are done. that's a given but big katic has a bright future ahead of himself with us. i would go as far to say that if he is around long enough he's a future captain. i doubt the SG would be willing to let him go especially with the age of balogun and goldson.

helander, balogun, simpson all at rangers for the next several seasons, how long would katic have to wait my friend? Its only my opinion but there's no way i see katic getting in front of any of the above mentioned centre halfs, in the queue mate 🤔 As far as i'm concerned they're all in front of big katic, so i see him quite possibly going out on loan after he comes back from injury and eventually sold mate!

Sgl balogun won't be with us next several season, he's 33 already. Well deserved another year, he's been excellent but I think he will get one more year and that will be him, think we can see from the signings sg is actively bringing down the age of the team.

Think Katic will stay around and go on loan to get some regular game time to an SPL club. And then when balogun leaves (possibly after next season), he'll slot back into the 4 centre backs.
For me, decent centre half and I was looking forward to seeing him this year before his injury.

I agreeSGL and he still has pace even tho he is 33 could easily play for another couple of years.
I have never been impressed with katic always a mistake in him and he will get better the old he gets but I think he won’t get much game time.

For centre backs look at visit Ferdinand terry can a ark nesta and davie weir haha canna ark won world player of the year at something like 34,35. Balogun will 100% get a 1 year extension with the option of another I would even say that.

It actually seems now looking at it Edmundson will likely be sold for £1m or so if he has a good season down there. Katie will go on loan perhaps back to Croatia or down south. Balogun, being right footed and good on the ball will be goldson back up to give him the odd rest. And with hellander and Simpson battling it out for the left centre half. That’s how it appears for next season. The 3 go’s are in place and the 2 left backs are in place. If bb goes then we sign 1 player for a full back line that’s good business as far as squad settlement etc. Same with midfield now only looks like if kamara goes we need 1 in. That’s it. And in attack if Alfie and Defoe go will be a starter and a young striker. 1 in 1 out. Squads very settled now. Great times.

Simpson has likely been brought in with the intention of getting 2-3 good years out him and sell for a decent fee. Katie could come back into the squad for him. Also if Simpson takes helander a place in team and balogun is getting game time helander could ask for a move perhaps next January or next summer again Katie could then come back. Think it will all depend on how he performs wherever he goes on loan. He’s be a good championship defender with how fast n furious the games are. It would suit him to a tee. Let’s be honest they over value players like joe Worral and scott McKenna to name a few and Katie is better than both. and we could get good value for him down there.

Helander is currently 27 and was quoted by the media that he would like to play for Malmö before the end of his career.
Hopefully he is at Ibrox for another few seasons.
